[no i didn't.. this jade slip was a one time use object so after we scanned it.. it was self destroyed but if you want a copy then we can just copy this information regarding the cultivation technique and we can store in a new empty jade slip or write it in a book]

Rex then started to scan all the the jade slip inside the box, most of the jade slip were one time use so they turned into powder after Rex used them but there were also those which did not turned into powder even after Rex used them

this made Rex sure that all these things are actually a loot …because whether it was cultivation technique or martial arts they all are too different its like all of these things were from different sects and families

all the cultivation techniques or martial arts inside those jade slips were in rage from Earth rank Low grade to Earth rank Peak grade

as for what top grade is..Rex realized that knowledge he had before about sub rank of cultivation techniques or martial arts was a little wrong

after Rex scanned all of them he putted all the 5 wooden boxes in his Inventory and walked to the black box

Rex looked at the box except three small diamonds, the rectangular picture of the symbol and the sharp pin there was nothing on the box

it didn't even had the lock or a key hole..at first Rex thought about using force or Trans.m.u.tate to open it but then he soon gave up that idea after all the technology he saw today was unknown what if there was a hidden mechanism that may counter his attack or may destroy the thing inside it

after thinking for a while Rex pressed his thumb on the p.r.i.c.k

when he did that an unexpected thing happened the small p.r.i.c.k pierced Rex's skin like b.u.t.ter and a small drop of blood came out of the wound

before Rex even had time to think much the drop of the blood was absorbed by the area around the p.r.i.c.k then the box started to absorb Qi from Rex's hand

Rex did not resisted and let it absorb as much as Qi as it needed but he still underestimated the Box's hunger and in the end he needed to drink few Qi replenis.h.i.+ng potions to make up for it

after the box stopped absorbing Qi all the three diamonds on it started to s.h.i.+ne brightly but soon they stopped s.h.i.+ning

then the rectangular picture of the symbol got divided in very small pieces of different shapes then they got jumbled up, after that the first diamond started s.h.i.+ning brightly but at a closed look Rex found out that it was loosing its s.h.i.+ne with time

Rex then looked at the puzzle like picture and tried to lift one piece but he wasn't able to lift it like it was an illusion but then an idea came to his mind and he tried to drag the piece to the side and indeed that piece switched its place with the piece on the side

'is it a puzzle..seriously' (Rex)

when Rex was still observing the puzzle the light on the first diamond disappeared and as soon as it disappeared the pieces of the puzzle moved and jumbled up again then the second diamond lighted up

'd.a.m.n.. it also have a time limit and according to the number of the diamond there are only three chances and i already lost one chance

i have already wasted few seconds in the second chance there is no use trying.. Rose a.n.a.lyze the pattern in which the puzzle's pieces moved and remember to scan the puzzle when the third diamond lit up … according the my calculation we only have 15 seconds to solve the puzzle..

can a normal person even even solve it what was its maker thinking when he made it.. but its my good luck that this is the trial..a software programmer normally makes a puzzle game by developing a logic first and this puzzle follow the same principle

and if someone can make a game with a logic then someone can also solve it if he gets the logic as long as we can find the logic behind it and use it to deduct the pattern in which the pieces moves then we can solve it easily' (Rex)

soon the second diamond dimmed and the third diamond lighted up and with that the pieces jumbled up again

'Rose now' (Rex)

'Telekinesis' (Rex)

Rex used both his hands and Telekinesis to solve the puzzle

a new holographic window appeared beside Rex which showed the simplest and fastest way to solve the puzzle

'Fast Clock' (Rex)

after using Fast Clock everything appeared slow in Rex's eyes including his body but his a.n.a.lyzing and calculating speed increased by several folds but Rex did not used it because of that but that fact that even after using it, it did not had much effect on Telekinesis and he could still solve the puzzle at high speed

and just 3 seconds after using Fast Clock Rex solved the puzzle

a total of 7 seconds were used up in the whole process

after the puzzle was solved the all the three diamonds were fully lighted up again and started twinkling

but Rex was not in a mood to watch this light show he set on his b.u.t.tocks and wiped the cold sweat on his forehead

Rex ignored Rose and looked at the box

the box trembled a bit then the four corners of the top of the box automatically got divided into four different parts and the box opened on its own
