1 Chapter 1:

My official is the only one who can make my heart thump and smile with happiness. He is the only one who gave me my code name and allowed me to show my dangerous side that no one saw before.

The clients he gives me.

The people he gives me to kill.

He fills my desires for the taste of death.

He settles my rage.

He accepts me for who I am.

"Of course sir," I answer, my voice high with ecstasy just thinking of the Alpha praying to his moon G.o.ddess for help. The imaginary cries filled my head, the smile on my lips twitches in wickedness.

The memories of murdering and torturing my victims have always sent pleasure and calmness in my mind.

"Let your partner know of the job. Report back to me once you've made contact with the victim." He told me, turning away and walking back down the alley. "You do this job and I will reward you personally. Don't let us down Xenon." I watched as he flicked his hand in the air, not a second later disappearing into thin air.

A grin rose on my face, knowing he only used his ability to make it seem like he disappeared. A trick he showed me when I became his number one killer.

For some reason, his disappearing trick always caused me to laugh since it always made the new killers c.r.a.p themselves.

"Hey." A faint voice nudged my mind causing me to blick a little bit and zone back into the environment I was actually in. The memory fading away when I glanced down and saw the small little girl tapping on my leg.

Her rosy colored hair making her blue eyes pop out like a sore thumb, the dash of freckles along her cheeks causing her to look a little cute. The pony s.h.i.+rt she had on was covered in red paint along with her bright green shorts with b.u.t.terflies along the leg.

I wasn't sure what the child wanted but she put me in a bad mood since the only thing that makes me happy was the fact that I got glorious jobs from terrible people. Which makes me the bad guy in this world, but that doesn't mean I hide that.

I take pride in being an a.s.sa.s.sin.

Not a kindergarten teacher.

"What's up kid?" I said, leaving my thoughts on my job and paying attention to actually staying undercover.

"My name is Lita!" She barks at me when I bite my bottom lip, hating my ranking official for making this job extra hard for me.

"What Lita." I sneer but she was oblivious to the anger in my voice since she pointed to her s.h.i.+rt and at a boy who was playing with red paint.

"Tommy threw paint at me!" She screeches all of sudden making me stare at her with a little bit of an annoyed look.

"Throw some back at him. If either of you makes a large mess I will throw paint at you both." I smiled darkly when her eyes lit up and s.n.a.t.c.hed the black paint from the basket and ran over to where Tommy was.

The boy was tossing paint all over the small canvas I allowed the kids to paint on, his canvas was literally the worse mixture of colors all over. It seemed like he didn't care but he was also fairly careful about getting the yellow paint on his dinosaur s.h.i.+rt.

I ignored the shrieks from the children throwing paint and checked on the time seeing it was only ten in the morning making me sigh deeply.

Only a few more hours left.

Then I can begin my hunt.

"Ms. Walker what in G.o.d's name happened here?!" The princ.i.p.al questions me while two angry parents stood behind him with kids covered in red and black paint. I tossed my book on the desk and pushed my legs off my desk before standing up.

"What do you mean? I see nothing wrong with the children. Are you both okay?" I ask the kids while giggles erupted from them earning two sharp glares from the parents.

"Lita told us you said she could throw paint at our son. What kind of teacher are you?!" Tommy's father snaps as I kneeled down to the children, completely ignoring his words towards me.

"Tommy, what color did you throw at Lita?" I ask him and a grin rose on the child's face.

"Red!" He yells as loud as he could.

"And Lita what color did you throw at Tommy?" I ask her this time when he looked at Tommy and back at me.

"Black!" She tries to yell louder than Tommy but fails terribly making him laugh at her.

"Well, it seems like I am a great teacher because they now can remember the color red and black." I shrug, standing up and facing the frustrated parents and princ.i.p.al. "I'll have you know that I teach in a very different way, ladies and gentleman. The kids will not learn to be bullied nor will they walk out of here without taking something things they learned in my cla.s.s. If you don't like it, please by all mean tell me how to teach a child. I don't have a certification or anything." I nod over to my fake diploma as the parents looked ready to challenge me but the princ.i.p.al turned towards them with a sympathetic smile.

"I'm sorry for her behavior. She's a new teacher please excuse her." He said while I rolled my eyes, wis.h.i.+ng it was him that I was supposed to kill.

"This is terrible! I want my child out of this cla.s.s." Lita's mother yells angrily when I snapped my eyes towards her.

I need Lita in my cla.s.s, she's my target's little cousin.

This is the only way to get closer to the man and seduce him.

"I-"

"No! I want to stay in Misses Walker cla.s.s!" Lita shouts at her mother, with a stomp in her words making me smirk a little bit.

Perfect.

"But honey... Your clo-"

"No! I don't wanna go somewhere else!" She yells again when her mother looked up at me with a conflicted look causing my smile to widen a little more.

"You heard the kid. She's mine for the year so you better learn how to clean the paint out of clothes." I snicker at her. Her face morphing into anger and irritation before she walked off with Lita's hand grasped in her own.

Lita's father nodded to me, walking off with an indifferent att.i.tude. It seems like he didn't care about the fact his daughter's hair was a brighter red rather than the natural rose red.

"Now." I clapped my hands together before turning to Tommy's parents. "You can unroll your child from my cla.s.s but I wouldn't advise you to because the other teachers do not want him. I'm being completely honest with you because Tommy is a rowdy child but I let him be rowdy and he is starting to realize that being crazy doesn't mean good. Such as with the paint. He learned that if he does something that he gets it right back to him. Will he continue to throw paint? I don't know but I do know that he will learn from good and bad in my cla.s.s as well as the colors." I told the parents, collecting my things and staring back at the adults in the room. "But I think the only reason he threw paint was that he has a crush on Lita. Now if you excuse me, I have to go to a meeting." I nod, pa.s.sing back them and walking down the hallway.

My heels clicked on the hallway floors, the tight dress I was wearing preventing me to take large steps. I knew that this was the only way to draw a little attention to myself, trying to lure my prey into the open but I've heard this Alpha doesn't do anything with a woman unless they are his mate.

It'll be hard to convince him to let alone to spend a night with me but I didn't even think about the fact that he has some phobia of women.

Apparently, from my client, he is inexperienced in the bedroom which works for me.

I have the body a man wants.

I can act how the way a man wants me to.

I will morph into his mate even if I am not his mate.

He will be mine.

He will be my kill.

The sound of my heels s.h.i.+fted into the shots of guns within my head, the warmth that rose within my chest coming from the thoughts of murdering him in cold blood. Prolonging his torture, taking a video, and getting away with the perfect murder.

Only for my satisfaction of filling my burning need.

The burning need to be the rogue I was destined to be.
