Tranquil night, in a secluded place, Hua Qingxin walked towards the tree.

“You Highness…”

Yunhai turned to her and held her hands anxiously, “Are you OK, Qingxin?”

Hua Qingxin pulled her hands back and turned back indifferently, “So, now you care about me?”

Yunhai knew clearly what she meant and said awkwardly, “I didn’t expect he would share the same horse with you.”

“You intended to kill him.” Hua Qingxin stared at him, as if she hardly knew him, “That’s your d.a.m.n plan?”

Yunhai fell into silence. It was also a struggle for him to make that decision.

“He is your own flesh and blood.” Hua Qingxin took a deep breath, “My sister a.s.sured me that you would not kill him. I thought you just wanted to save yourself.”

“I will not be safe until he dies! Yunhai suddenly said aloud. Frowning, he told her firmly, “Either he dies, or I do.”

Hua Qingxin stumbled backward. The man she had been so familiar with seemed like a total stranger now, “So I’m just a woman you could make use of in the imperial harem…You even didn’t think about what would happen to me if you failed.”

“I shouldn’t have failed. He prepared for it, as he didn’t even trust you.” Yunhai looked at her as if she betrayed him.

Hua Qingxin just felt disappointed and sneered, “You told me that he was cold and cruel, but actually you are all the same.”

“Of course, we are.” Yunhai ridiculed and asked, “Is it merciful to incarcerate him in the jail forever? If anything happens to him, you are also the murderer.”

“Yes.” Hua Qingxin clutched at her neckline. She felt terrified, ashamed, guilty and self-condemned, “Yes, I am, I am also the murderer…”

Yunhai couldn’t bear to see her suffering and hugged her, “Qingxin, I didn’t tell you the plan because I didn’t want you to have too much burden. I thought it would be simple and quick… It’s all my fault…”

So absurd. He felt it was a fault to not give the emperor a deadly shoot.

And Yun Cang… Even with a serious wound, he was still planning how to revenge his own brother. How pathetic they were…

“Both of you are malicious…” Hua Qingxin pounded the back of Prince Yunhai furiously.

No far from them, Yun Cang stood under the shadow of the trees. He saw Hua Qingxin hugging with his own brother.

They were quarreling about the past. They loved each other, hated each other,  made use of each other, conciliated with each other, and finally hugging together, crying.

This was the pure love Yun Cang craved for and wanted to guard for his life, but when he really fell into it, he realized that it was not a good thing.

He put his hand on his chest subconsciously. He didn’t know which was more painful, the wound, or his heart.

Yunhai hugged Hua Qinxin tightly. He knew their relations.h.i.+p was precious. He was so desperate to get her all to himself, but he couldn’t. He had a greater cause to fulfill.

“All right. You shouldn’t stay here too long. Go back.” Ultimately, Yunhai let her go.

Hua Qingxin also realized that she shouldn’t have done this, so she kept a distance with Yunhai and wept her tears, “I have to tell you something.”

“What?”

Hua Qingxin alerted him seriously, “If the emperor asks you to go to that fawn-hunting place, don’t go.”

Yunhai was a clever man, so he soon understood, “It seems that he has suspected me.”

Hua Qingxin smiled bitterly. These two brothers both wanted to kill each other. If there was no third person setting them up, then it was definitely the other’s plot.

“He will set you up there. The whole thing should stop after he got wounded, so just don’t go.” Hua Qingxin rubbed her thin fingers and said with lowered head.

“Stop after he got wounded?” They heard a loud voice coming from the dark.

Yunhai and Hua Qingxin were shocked. They turned towards the direction of that voice and saw Yun Cang walking towards them under the moonlight, followed by Wei Jun, the commander of imperial guards.

Yun Cang approached and stood there, facing them. He smiled to Hua Qingxin bitterly, “It seems that the one wounded can only be me, not him.”

“You Majesty…” Hua Qingxin gasped. Her fine face was as white and pale as the moonlight.

Yunhai suddenly realized something and gave Hua Qingxin a slap. He said furiously, “You betrayed me!”

“No, I didn’t…” Hua Qingxin never thought about betraying him, instead, she just wanted to save him, “Your Highness, this is a plot, you have to believe me.”

“b.i.t.c.h, so this is your fallback plan?” Yunhai was convinced that she sold him out.

But that was not true. Hua Qingxin risked losing everything to come here, so she never thought about any fallback plan.

However, in current situation, she didn’t have room to explain.

She couldn’t explain to Yunhai, nor to Yun Cang.
