The stinging pain of the medicine spread around the wound on her waist. Once the pain subsided, she heaved a sigh.

Oh well, it was just another day of getting hurt. She looked around and made sure there were not any traces of her blood left. When she was done, she finally took off.

She went inside the hotel again and into the underground headquarters. There, Chu Chu and Hua had reported the orders they had carried out. Hearing everything going as planned, she prepared to leave.

Mi Rong left some more orders to them and took a file report of all the investigations her group had done. All the mountains that had looked like Mt. Ming Yun from her Ning kingdom and more.

She then went into her office and changed her clothes. While changing, she carefully took off the clothes around her waist. Good thing the blood had stopped flowing out. She had taken some time clean and put healing medicines onto it. Mi Rong then wore covering clothes and a cap. She tucked her long hair inside it and prepared to leave.

She went to their garage and choose a black mini car. Mi Rong got in with her files and drove off. It was now time to go back. She couldn't waste any more time and would have to be back before someone does.

There would probably be many ambushes along the way, but he'll fend himself off anyways. She hoped she would arrive before him else it would be a ton of questions.

As she drove, the more Mi Rong thought about it, it was truly peculiar. The purple-clad was surely not from this era. No one would have been able to possess that kind of power like his. Not even from where she had come from. That bright white light was so dangerous that she could even feel the power just by looking at it.

The more Mi Rong pondered about it, her brows drew closer to each other. Her time era had also not possessed any kind of power except the agility and strength that was far better than now. From her time, such powers were counted as myths and legends.

However, coming here to this world was also beyond her belief as well. Anything was possible.

Then, did this mean that he was from a time era earlier than hers? How old would it have been?

She truly hoped he would recuperate himself from that blast and wouldn't bother with them again. Sigh, such a headache.

Although it was all strange, what she found even more strange was, how did Jun Kai or Fei Ling ever made themselves enemies with this kind of person?

It was not long before she had arrived at a public train station near the village she was staying. It was already dawn and was still quite dark. She left the car on the side and disappeared into the train station. Those that had been following her were unable to keep track of her.

They had been ordered to follow every car coming out from the luxury hotel. They were following the mini black car until the train station but lost her inside the train station. They could only presume that she took the train and left. Thus, they didn't think much of their target and left to report that the person their master was looking for was not their target that was given to them.

Only when Mi Rong was sure that n.o.body was following her did she get out from the train station and disappeared into the darkness.

She was hesitating where she should head to first.

Looking at the time, it was around 6 am, well just in time for grandma Feng's morning tea time. Mi Rong then flew into the darkness and headed to Xia Yun's house first. She sneaked through the back door with the key. She left her file in her closet and then went straight to the front door. She acted like she had come straight out of the house.

Mi Rong then proceeded to walk to the grandma Feng's house. Her eyes landed on the sky and she couldn't help but breathe in some fresh air. A few breezes of wind blew gently on her face.

Ah, it's finally a new day. She watched as the sun was rising slowing in the corner of the sky. Yesterday has been a very tiring day indeed.

She walked to grandma Feng's house calmly as if nothing had happened.

From the top of the hill, a small white creature was sniffing his nose in the air. He seemed to have smelt a familiar scent and his nose twitched even more. The animal lifted his small body and turned to face a person walking up the hill leisurely. The person smiled at the small creature warmly. However, the next moment, the creature's small white brows furrowed. Blood?

It ran straight to the other person who was walking up the hill. It then dashed up the person who was walking and up to her shoulders.

"What happened to you, Mi Rong?" It's small voice rang in her mind.

Mi Rong give her gentle smile to her cute pet, "Well, I guess I couldn't hide it from the great Xiao Bai, hm?"

Xiao Bai did not respond to Mi Rong and eyed her with his cute eyes for his answer.

Mi Rong chuckled, "Just a little scratch, nothing serious."

Hearing her answer Xiao Bai didn't probe further and began complaining. He told her all about how many men that had tried to ambush their men along the way to grandma Feng's house. Xiao Bai had haughtily said how the cleared up almost all of them.

As Mi Rong listened, she really had to stop that purple-clad first. This man was getting too powerful. If he was a great man, she wouldn't have bothered, but all he brought was harm.

Sigh, she'll have to put her search for her spell book at hold first.

Xiao Bai then asked Mi Rong, "Why are you here anyway? To check on the young master Feng?"

Mi Rong's steps halted. She then quickly recovered, "Nah, just to see the circ.u.mstances and how grandma Feng and Qing Qing are doing."

"Oh," Xiao Bai answered simply. "Well, I can't meet grandma Feng in this state, so I'll be hiding first."

"Hmm," Mi Rong nodded gently. With that Xiao Bai jumped off from Mi Rong's shoulder and climbed up the Feng family's wall.

Xiao Bai watched as Mi Rong walked inside the gate. Sigh, Mi Rong ah, if I could help you more. If I could tell you more about your past, then you wouldn't be this confused with your feelings.
