Everyone stood up in admiration towards Jun Kai. He truly had deserved his reputation after Father Feng. They could see why Mother Feng aka grandma Feng announcing that this admiring young man would become the next chairman of the company. If only his father had some alike to his son.

Mi Rong held the box in one hand and Xiao Bai in the other. She did not show any signs of interests to the commotion and left behind the scenes quietly. The two followers in red and the auctioneer had all retreated with their leader.

As the Xuan leader left, some audiences began shouting to get the leaders attention. Tonight was a rare moment that the Xuan leader to appear in front of them. They couldn't let off the chance to make business relations with one of the top companies like the Xuan group.

However, more guards came out in front of the stage as the audience tried to push through. The guards were holding arms of steel together as a formation. The security was as tight as ever.

Jun Kai watched as the commotion went on beneath where he stood. He furrowed his brows. The leader had just left like this?

Lin Cheng could not keep his confusion and went up to Jun Kai, "Sir, this? Are we going to meet the leader sir?"

Right on time, the auctioneer who had been on the stage just moments ago came to where Jun Kai had been sitting.

"Young master Feng, the leader wishes you to follow me." The auctioneer half-heartedly bowed in a welcoming gesture towards Jun Kai. His arrogance was truly annoying towards Lin Cheng's eyes, but he couldn't blow things up for his boss.

Jun Kai ignored the haughtiness coming from the auctioneer as it was not worth his emotions, "Fine."

"Jun Kai," Xue Li gently called out to the other person. Only then did the auctioneer had Xue Li in his sight. He thought to himself that this was the famous miss Xue Li that her image was like a diety to others, however from the looks of it, she really could not even compare an inch to his leader.

On the other hand, when the auctioneer came to invite Jun Kai to meet that woman, Xue Li was secretly eyeing that auctioneer intensely.

"Can I come with you?" Xue Li politely asked. Her voice was as sweet as ever and her eyes were s.h.i.+ning like a deer.

Before any responses had come from Jun Kai, the auctioneer immediately cut off the act by saying, "I would rather, young miss Xue Li mind your own business. This is a very important matter and is not to be taken unseriously by troublesome beings." The auctioneer then straightened his back, tucked in his monocle and with a swift turned around. He naturally placed one arm behind his back and stomped ahead.

Xue Li was utterly speechless. How could an insignificant person dare look down on her? Nevertheless, she pitifully looked back at Jun Kai; hoping just in case that the disrespectful actions of the auctioneer would arouse some considerations in Jun Kai's heart.

She should have known better. Jun Kai simply said, "Good night," and walked past her. Seeing the other person leave, her emotions that she had kept were boiling up to the point that she almost could not hold it in. Her eyes were red, but not because she was sad, but because of her boiling emotions. She would take this place down until there is nothing left.

With a humph, she left too stomped out of the hall.

However, on the sides, both Feng Min and mister Ye had been watching everything portrayed in front of their eyes. They too simply thought that the auctioneer was indeed haughty, but unless he did not have a master like the Xuan leader, then he would not have reacted in this way. The pair did not know if this att.i.tude of the auctioneer was similar to his masters. Both shook their head in disappointment.

Nevertheless, the person who was most disappointed seemed to be mister Ye. He had lost the deal. Although there was some disappointment, he had felt more irritation in his heart. This Xuan group sure is capable, but are they capable enough to handle the undercurrent that is about to happen? We would soon see…

...

Jun Kai was now following the auctioneer down a small corridor of the hotel building. They had pa.s.sed through many shortcuts that he had never knew existed. Surprisingly, this whole time that Jun Kai was following the auctioneer, there were no signs of any other Xuan group members. Where the group so confident that no mishaps would occur?

Also, this auctioneer was indeed not normal. His steps were as light as a feather and hardly audible. Each step the auctioneer took was in a rhythmic speed. He would turn left and right as if the directions had been carved to his memory.

Lin Cheng was closely following behind his boss until they arrived into a wall and what looked like a dead end. The auctioneer had stopped in his tracks and turned around to face Jun Kai.

"Right mister Jun Kai, I would like to tell you that this is the end..." the auctioneer took a pause just to mess with Jun Kai slightly as this young man was staring at him like he had killed his parents, he then continued to speak, "....it is the end for your secretary slash manager, mister Chen Lin Cheng, to part ways with us. The journey ahead requires only you, young master Feng, and me."

No response came from both men. Jun Kai and Lin Cheng did not budge any slight bit. However, deep down the pair were beginning to get worried about how deep did the Xuan group know about them. Lin Cheng's surname that n.o.body had known except him, Jun Kai, and grandma Feng was now known to this very auctioneer. Then, how much would the Xuan leader know about them?

The auctioneer took haste and replied, "If there is no answer, then I presume you do not want to continue the path ahead and will immediately report to our leader that you have given up the chance. The Xuan group will happily return back you 300,000,000 Yuan and…"

Jun Kai did not want to hear what the auctioneer would carry on saying and irritably cut the other person off, "Tut!" He could tolerate once or twice, but with the continuous haughtiness coming from this person was unacceptable.

The auctioneer looked quite surprised with Jun Kai's response, but still kept quiet to hear what the young man had to say, "Where do you suppose to leave my man?"

Hearing what he wanted, the auctioneer clapped his hands twice and two guards in black came out, "These two men will take mister Lin Cheng to a resting lounge to wait for you. No harm will come to both of you, as our Xuan group regards our integrity foremost."

Listening to the word 'integrity' coming out from a person who looked contrastingly different was indeed ironic. Jun Kai plainly said, "I'll see you in a bit."

"But sir!" Lin Cheng protested in reluctance.

However, before Jun Kai could make speak some more, the auctioneer smiled, "Well, since it has settled, follow me young master Feng."

The auctioneer walked directly towards the wall. He was about to crash into the wall when with a click the wall disappeared. Each step the auctioneer took, the walls would sink into itself, creating a pathway.

Both Jun Kai and Lin Cheng looked at each other one more time before separating ways. Hopefully, nothing bad happens…

On the other side, a woman covered in red clothing was sitting down patiently in a room decorated in red, an auspicious colour. She preferred the red colour and was silently tapping her finger on the table.

The entire room had herself alone. The two young ladies in red and the white snowy weasel were nowhere to be seen. There was a round table and two chairs. One was empty and was waiting for the guest to arrive. On the table were two cups and a teapot. The tea was still hot as the steam was still coming out. However, the lady's cup was empty.

Mi Rong's thoughts wandered as her finger tapped on the table.

Before the auction had begun, Hua and Chu Chu had reported some very important news.

They were able to locate down some of the few possibilities where her kingdom might have been located or at least the mountain where she and her brother were on the night she came here. The list followed; in China included Tiananmen Mt., Mount Emei, Mount Hua, Mount Everest and in South Korea included Mount Jiri, Mount Halla, and Mount Taebeak and the list followed in a few more countries, but were most likely in China or South Korea.

However, Mi Rong had been even more surprised with another news.

South Korea, on the day of the crash, before Shen Fei Ling's death, she had met a very unexpected person.

Shen Fei Ling had met up with her friend, Xue Li, who was supposed to be on a business trip. It would not have been of any importance if that meeting had not upset Shen Fei Ling. The lead of this visit was on Shen Fei Ling's activity before the crash. In other CCTV camera, she was heading out with Qing Qing to a place. However, within 100-meter distance from the cafe, all of the CCTV cameras were wiped out. Things were harder when there were at least 50 restaurants and shops within the area. It had taken a while but was not impossible.

The video clips found were captured by a secret CCTV camera of the restaurant that kept for emergencies. Both Hua and Chu Chu had searched the entire cafe and other shops until they had been able to track down this one CCTV camera.

The video clips had captured Shen Fei Ling alone who cheerfully sat down to meet her friend. In the beginning, everything was completely fine until Shen Fei Ling dispiritedly got up. Her face was full of tears as she reached out for her bag and finally got out of the shop. She looked like all her energy had worn out. Even her umbrella and coat was left behind. There was only Xue Li sitting as she looked very satisfied with herself.

However, throughout the whole meeting, Qing Qing was nowhere to be seen. What could be so upsetting that Shen Fei Ling looked like she had given up all hope? This Xue Li was not ordinary. All of this happening was very weird and was beginning to become very fishy.

She had sent Xiao Bai, Hua and Chu Chu off to check whether there were any spies or animals lurking around the area. Although this place was disclosed, her heart was not settled. Seeing that black hawk emerged from the darkness onto mister Ye's shoulders made her uneasy. The bird had been undetected and must have been waiting inside this hall for a long time to have been inside without anyone knowing.

Mi Rong had been sitting in the same spot for a while before continuous clicks were made. In front of her, the wall had disappeared and two people had emerged.

It was time...
