"Li Jian!"

She had been calling quite a few times, but he did not slow down the slightest. It looked like he was walking even faster.

Lady Ru Yin couldn't stand it any longer and stopped in her tracks, "Li Jian, stop right there!"

Finally, the other person had stopped. She quickly then took the chance and walked in front of him.

"Look, it's not that so hard to raise up that much percentage; you just need to work a little harder. If you love your position that much then do it."

Mr Li Jian scoffed, "Well you're not the one doing it, are you?"

"I could help, if you're willing to." The last few words her eyes sank slightly. No matter how much hope she had, it would always…..

"No."

....collapsed.

Sigh.

She had long antic.i.p.ated this answer. "Then, calm down, alright? You've already grown this much but you still haven't learned to calm yourself down."

Mr Li Jian's lips hooked up devilishly. "Oh, now you're ordering me?"

Lady Ru Yin couldn't help but roll her eyes, "No, it's just…"

"Just what?" Mr Li Jian slowly walked closer toward his wife. However, with each step, his wife also took a step back from him. "I wonder how did you even get out of the house, hm?"

He then quickly grabbed her shoulders before she could take another step back. "Why don't you tell me about it, hm?"

With a swift of movement, the veil that been covering Lady Ru Yin's face was torn apart. Her never-ageing beauty was still prominent to one's eyes. At first, Mr Li Jian was slightly stunned as he had nearly forgotten how she really looked like.

She would always be covering her face from him. It was like she never wanted to see his face any longer.

It had been a long time for Lady Ru Yin seeing her husband's face without looking through her veil. He looked nearly the same.

However, he's grown some facial hair. It made him look even more sophisticated; she kind of liked it. Without knowing she was smiling as her eyes explored the face of the man she loved.

Subconsciously she lifted her hand and gently touched his handsome face. It had been a long time since she has ever even touched his face. Not long, her eyes began to become teary.

However, she felt a sharp pain on her hand. It was the very same person that she had dearly loved who was holding her hand tightly.

"Ru Yin, don't give me that kind of face. I can still remember how cold-hearted you were back then!"

"Ha! What a funny story, I only remembered being the person receiving all the cold hearts from your lovers. Hpmh! Especially your first love huh? Wasn't she so innocent?" Lady Ru Yin did not it back.

"Ru Yin! She was even more innocent than you."

"Oh yeah? Then, who was the person who nearly drowned my son, never mind he is also your son as well. You've never once cared about him!"

Lady Ru Yin's face was full of pains from her past.

Out of rage, Mr Li Jian pushed her. Luckily it was gra.s.s; therefore, it had lessened the impact, nevertheless, it was still a strong push.

Drops of tears fell down from the beautiful face. Seeing his action, he was slightly stunned and he nearly helped her up but suppressed himself.

"Ru Yin, she is willing to hold herself until now, why can't you do so yourself?" Mr Li Jian then left his wife in a rush. He didn't want to see her any longer.

"I'm always in the wrong." Lady Ru Yin murmured.

She shakily got up, took off her long white cape and a dark purple dress was replaced instead of it. Purple was her favourite colour, but white was someone else's. She threw both of her clothing in the pool and left.

Forget about what he liked.

No matter how much she had tried; it was never enough.

She started walking further away; however, she could not go much further and felt a slight cramp in her stomach. Beside the footpath, there was a wooden bench. Lady Ru yin couldn't bear the pain any longer and decided to take a sit.

Sigh.

As she was alone and the place was peaceful, her thoughts began wandering around. She began thinking of her past and how everything happened.

While she was in a daze, there was a gentle tap on her shoulders. She looked up and there was a fairy-like lady standing.

The young lady had an apologetic face, "Um, I'm very sorry, but would you mind if I also sat down with you?" She then looked up from the ground and finally looked at Lady Ru Yin.

Her face was slightly surprised as the person on the bench was crying. A moment ago she was not looking at the person sitting down and when she did she was slightly mesmerized by her beauty.

Her eyes were like crystals and added with her tears, they were s.h.i.+nning. The dark purple dress made her even more mysterious. It was like she had come out of the forest.

Mi Rong slowly asked, "Are you alright?"

"Huh? Oh, I'm fine. The wind was just too strong." The lady on the bench explained.

"Oh." However, there was no wind. Mi Rong thought to herself. However, she couldn't make everyone express their feelings unwillingly.

"Come, sit if you like, I don't mind." The lady then invited Mi Rong to sit down.

"Thank you."

There was this one and only bench around the area and Mi Rong had been walking around the whole place for a while before finally seeing this bench. She decided that she should give some s.p.a.ce for Jun Kai with his friends and family, so she went strolling around.

When she finally sat, at first it was silent, before Mi Rong began the conversation, "Um, are you also attending this event?"

Lady Ru Yin looked towards the floor upstairs where it was full of lights, "Hm yeah. Which family do you belong to?"

Mi Rong smiled, "I don't. I'm just alone."

"Oh. Strange, usually they wouldn't let just anyone in." Lady Ru Yin was still thinking of how odd of the Feng family.

"Well, I got lucky I guess. Anyways, uh are you really alright." Mi Rong's eyes had some seriousness in them as she was truly asking how the other lady felt.

Her eyes were already turning bright red because of her fair skin. There seemed to be some bruises on her shoulders as well.

Mi Rong couldn't help but worry.
