-----So, you've finally showed yourself. Hmph!

On the other side of the forest, up on the hospital's rooftop.

A man felt a gaze directly staring at him. His sword-like brows knitted and stared back. He looked at Xiao Bai who was leaping down to land.

They both stared at each other. On one side, the man was looking at Xiao Bai with infuriating eyes. His burning eyes could be felt from far away. However, Xiao Bai gave the man a mocking smirk before disappearing with the thick forest.

Wan Hei on the other hand was weakly flapping it's wings heading to it's master. It's wounds was intolerable, but it clenched it's teeth as it carried it's frail body. If it weren't for having some spiritual power, it would've already drop dead on the ground.

Xiao Bai who had just landed; headed straight towards Mi Rong who had been meditating. When Mi Rong heard the approaching footsteps, she opened her eyes. Then, directly called out to Xiao Bai through their telepathy.

"Xiao Bai, is that you?"

"Yup."

Not long, Xiao Bai showed itself to Mi Rong. Along the way, it had washed it's mouth that had been covered with Wan Hei's blood in a running stream nearby. To dissipate to scent from the blood, it had eaten some herbs that was on it's hands. Although, he had done all of this as fast as it could, it was still slow for Mi Rong.

"Phew, what took you so long?"

"I had to search around and played some hide and seek with our follower."

Mi Rong was quite curious of who would be following her and Xiao Bai, so she asked, "Did you find who it was?"

"No, maybe we might've mistaken a wild animal following us." Xiao Bai purposely lied.

"Well, it was gone quite fast, even you couldn't even track it down."

"Maybe a mouse or squirrel."

"Hm, well at least you've checked it, then let's not waste anymore time and go."

"Oh, before that, here take some of this."

"This is?" Mi Rong curiously asked while looking at the herb that was handled to her from Xiao Bai. It magically appeared in Xiao Bai's head. The plant was white as snow.

"It's something that will help you recover."

"Oh." Mi Rong then unhurriedly picked the plant up and ate it. Surprisingly the herb had no taste, but gave a very cold sensation to her mouth. It was like eating shaved ice.

While Mi Rong took hers, the same white plant appeared on Xiao Bai's head and he slightly flicked his head upwards and then caught the plant in it's mouth.

"Hm, Xiao Bai the taste is quite extraordinary, where did you get it from?"

"Ke ke, it's a secret, now hop on."

"Tsk, fine, I'll just take one dish away from the list." Mi Rong complained while getting Xiao Bai's back.

"Whatever."

-----Hm? Strange. The Xiao Bai does not mind about food any more?

"Xiao Bai are you alright?"

Xiao Bai froze in it's tracks and it's eyes turned dark. "I'm fine, just a little tired."

"Hm, alright." It seemed there was something on Xiao Bai's mind, but she didn't want to push him. So, she'll wait until he wants to tell her.

The two then finally set off to their camp. This time, no one was able to see them.

The herb that Xiao Bai brought out from his magical s.p.a.ce for them to eat was a herb that would enhance the ability of the invisible pills. The color of the herb was pure white and it was called the snowy plant. It's specialty is it would enhance any other medicine to work ten times better than it's usual effects.

Which meant that the man from the hospital rooftop and Wan Hei would not be able to see them any longer. When Xiao Bai learnt that Wan Hei and it's master were chasing after them, he immediately knew why they were able to track them. Those two master and subordinate both had quite a high spiritual power, so they were able to see Xiao Bai and Mi Rong.

The Ice Queen, Xiao Bai, this mysterious man and Wan Hei had all came from the same time, long before Mi Rong was born, when the world was full of extraordinary powers. They were all once very strong during their prime time, but after those two, Xiao Bai and the Ice Queen were punished by the heavens, their powers were disturbed. Out of the four, the luckiest one was Xiao Bai. It was only limited in the cave for never growing, once it came out, it was able to grow again, but it'll still need many more years to reach it's true powers.

On the other hand, the Ice Queen, the mysterious man and Wan Hei's powers dispelled and the three had to start recollecting their powers one again. However, although that man's powers dispelled the most, but he was quite fast at recovering as his power could nearly be up to pair with Xiao Bai's power at the moment.

On the rooftop.

The man was clenching his fist hardly until his knuckles turned white. The white light that was shot straight at Xiao Bai took one third of the his power, but he was furious that the light did not even touch Xiao Bai at all.

From the distance, he could see his subordinate flying weakly towards him. Sigh. It seems he'll need to take precautions with Mi Rong from now on.

Wan Hei finally landed by it's master's side and bitterly hanged it's head down. This time it had failed miserably. There wasn't even a chance for it to fight back at Bao Bai.

"Master, please punish me. I have failed you. I.."

"Enough!"

Wan Hei immediately became quiet. It knew it's master's temper and did not dare to make any more mistakes.

"Wan Hei, go and take care of that wound. This time we both didn't think that that woman would let Bao Bai come out from that cave, but next time, don't fail me again."

"Yes master!"

"Hm." Then Wan Hei retreated and the man was left alone.

A cold breeze of the wind blew past his face. His face was devilishly handsome and everything was perfect. However, his appearance made him look like he had come from the depths of h.e.l.l. His gaze was looking far away at the big forest across the town.

He could no longer see any traces of Mi Rong and Bao Bai. He felt a shrp pain coming from his left chest. Sigh.

"Mi Rong, I was this close to you." However, this feeling, he must bury it deep inside his heart.
