Everyone was slightly taken aback. Miss Xue Li was willing to help them? Some of the new housemaids came to admire the young miss Li, but some knew how miss Xue Li would usually like and did not buy it. However, young miss Li's face expressed otherwise. She looked at them like she would genuinely help them.

n.o.body had said anything else. Seeing everyone quiet, Xue Li spoke some more, "It's not like it's anything much. I'm not the one going out, but my bodyguard will. Besides, we all still have to prepare some more dishes." She then left it as it was. Xue Li then casually turned to pick the vegetable which she had left.

As the housekeeper watched miss Xue Li's actions carefully, he did not see anything wrong. He thought rationally and thus went up to the young lady in the kitchen. With smiling eyes, he spoke, "If we could ask for young miss' help, it would be wonderful."

Xue Li looked up nonchalantly, "Hmm yeah, it's fine." She got up and opened the backdoor where her bodyguards were. She spoke some words to one of them and he nodded in response.

Once she finished, Xue Li turned around with a gentle smile, "There, that's all." She then returned to doing what she had left.

Qing Qing had decided to take an afternoon nap and was sleeping in her room. While the young girl slept, Mi Rong read the book she had borrowed from Jun Kai. She had the book with her, but she did not have time to continue reading it. Thus, she took the time to read it peacefully.

On the other hand, the owner of the book was still in the library. Instead of the book he had when Xue Li was around, he had files of doc.u.ments instead. There were all the reports that his Ke group had found from the incident. However, they had not found anything about the purple guy. The more he read the reports, the more his brows became knitted. He had found out about the wedding plans yesterday. Those two old men were fast.

However, as they were walking towards the garden and were at the staircase which led to the backyard, the housemaid's phone rang. The two ladies stopped in their tracks and grandma Feng nodded the housemaid to pick the phone up. When the housemaid brought out her phone, 'Son' popped up the phone.

Grandma Feng gestured the housemaid to answer the phone since it was a family member. When the middle age lady answered the phone, she had a slightly worried face on. Her son would not usually call, what had happened now?

"Wei?" The housemaid answered.

"Mum, I've brought a package over. Someone left it at our house, but it had the Feng family's address on it. So, I brought it over right away." Hearing that there wasn't anything much, the lady heaved a sigh.

He then continued, "Can you come over? There is n.o.body opening the door for me? I've got to go back home and finish my work." Her son hastened her to see him faster since he had unfinished business.

"Uh…" The housemaid turned towards grandma Feng and explained the situation. Grandma Feng did not think much and told the housemaid to quickly go and quickly come back. She'll sit down beside the benches and wait for the housemaid to come.

Once the housemaid was given permission, she walked back from where they had come from and to the front gate. When the housemaid was gone, grandma Feng used her walking stick and walked to the benches.
