Morti moved toward the White Ape on the Southside. It glanced at him with red eyes but showed no other reaction. The bear stood on his hind legs looking up. "That's a big boss. What is it?"

Jun Li patted Morti's shoulder. The bear had grown recently and was nearly 15 feet tall when on his back legs. The Ape looked to be about two feet taller. "It's an Ape Morti, kinda like a monkey."

"Okay... let me know when I should swat the monkey." Morti sat down on his enormous b.u.t.t and waited patiently.

/Jun Li: We are ready on the Southside.

/Inferno: Semmi: North is ready. Your call Junie.

/Inferno: Jun Li: Tanks only. Go!

Morti advanced on his back legs, he swatted the Ape across its face, knocking it back into the valley wall with ground shaking power. "RAAWWRR"

[Mortimer has taunted Cedric the White]

Nix smiled when he heard his bear's roar. It was echoed by Sharl's battle cry on the Northside. Since Pon was on the North DPS team, Nix decided to help the Southside. The old fire mages sustained dps was better than one else.

[Sniper's Nest]

Chael has setup a kill point.

Chael has summoned a Scorched Earth Defender.

Ronnie patted her Golem on its stone arm. "Make sure to protect me Rocky."

Nix targeted the Farah the White and waited for the go-ahead.

Jun Li watched Morti continue to attack the White Ape, the primate's primary weapons were its enormous fists. Although they did damage to Morti, he didn't seem especially bothered by it.

/Inferno: Jun Li: Okay, DPs. .h.i.t them. Shae start monitoring health.

Nix started spamming Fire Burst. It was his best distance spell and he wouldn't have to worry about mana.

Shae watched the health of both primates. After two minutes, the North was at 97 percent and the South 98.

Shae joined hands with Rhy and targeted the South Boss.

[Balefire Burst]

Five bursts of white fire slammed into the Ape, bringing his health down a full percent.

/Inferno: Shae: Both Apes are at 97 percent.

Saji has been slain.

/Inferno: Jun Li: Fajii to the Southside!

Fajii ran toward the south boss. She targeted the slain healer, her hands glowing.

[Scorched Earth Mother]

Saji has been resurrected and returns to battle fully buffed.

Wylie has been slain!

/Inferno: Jun Li: Fajii to the Northside! Healers, what's going on?

/Inferno: Tess: It has an AE Stun, that's followed by a critical hit. All healers move to max heal distance.

Fajii turned and ran toward the North boss. She spotted Fey overhead, mirroring her movements. Undoubtedly Nix's idea. Just as she pa.s.sed Shae and Rhy, they joined hands to hit the South boss again.

[Scorched Earth Mother]

Wylie has been resurrected and returns to battle fully buffed.

/Inferno: Shae: Both Apes are at 91 percent.

/Inferno: Jun Li: Prepare to disengage the boss and kill the sp.a.w.ns. Nix and the hold team prepare to secure the North boss!

Jun Li watched the health of the South boss carefully. "Morti! Push him against the wall and hold it there!"

Morti responded by planting both enormous paws on the Ape's chest and bullying him back to the wall. He clamped his teeth on the Ape's shoulder and leaned all his ma.s.s against him.

Nix sprinted toward the North boss trailed closely by a half-dozen Aquarion melee fighters. Sharl noticed his arrival and responded by slamming her s.h.i.+eld into the Ape's chest and then stepping to one side.

Nix raised a hand and 12 Emerald strands wrapped around the boss's ankles. It tried to take one step and crashed face forward on the ground. Immediately Sharl and all the Aquarions piled onto it.

"Keep the tension on it Nix" Sharl reverted to her schoolyard days when she use to defend her younger sister. She held the Ape with one hand and punched with the other.

"Is that a joke?" Nix held onto all 12 strands, he looked like a kite caught up in a whirlwind. He was slammed from one side to the other while the giant Ape tried to stand up.
