Chapter 4: It Is Time For Mom To Stand Up For Her Sake Of Her Son Part 1

For quite some time now, a deafening silence was engulfing the whole car. Fortunately, there was no traffic on the road right at this moment.

Gu Yizhou silently picked up the car key and started the car engine again. He did not speak any word, nor did he have an expression on his face. He was just driving still as though he did not hear any of her previous claims.

However, Gu Yizhou beat her to it. "You're still young so, I can still let it slide. But next time, you should not carelessly make any jokes to someone especially, to a stranger." He lightly spoke, but his voice was somewhat heavy, clearly couldn't hide the signs of his evident displeasure. 

"It was very impolite." He added.

"…" Gu Yuanyuan didn't talk for a while.

He did not believe it. Of course.

Forget it. Anyway, she was not in a hurry. In fact, she can wait because she already knew the plot of the story. Thus, she could certainly determine that Gu Yizhou was her son without a doubt.
