Chapter 1754 - Void God Realm’s Limits

“Damn brat, breaking Void God Realm the moment you return to it, are you trying to rebel? We ought to punish you, not give you any of the rewards from breaking records!” Coin Grandpa threatened.

“What punishment? I came to demand repayment. You all never honored the promise of a precious technique from all those years ago.” Shi Hao walked forward.

Even though the two old fellas had thick skin, they still found it a bit hard to continue with this, because they really weren’t all that sincere. After all these years, they still didn’t honor their commitment.

“You all should know that last time, I fought my way down from Spirit Realm.” Shi Hao then said.

“Let’s leave this place first, we’ll talk along the way.” Bird Grandpa said.

Sou sou

They disappeared from their original locations, quickly leaving, because many people were hurrying over, someone discovering Shi Hao’s whereabouts.

“Stop beating around the bush. I’ve already gathered all the bronze pieces, it is just the heavenly book you all promised that’s left.” Shi Hao shot them a look of disdain.

This place was extremely desolate, but it was also extraordinary, chaotic energy surging from all sides.

Sigh,

it’s not that we don’t want to give it to you, but rather that it’s a bit difficult.” Bird Grandpa said. His gaze was a bit lost, the bird on his shoulder also had a bewildered expression, a bit absent-minded.

Shi Hao looked at them. These two’s conditions weren’t that good, even the bird experiencing some issues.

“You all fall into depravity with a thought, one thought achieving enlightenment, don’t tell me you two really can’t hold on much longer.” Shi Hao asked out of worry.

When he came last time, he already noticed some issues. These two’s souls were entrusted to Void God Realm, and now, there was a great issue, actually showing signs of deterioration.

“We are still okay for now, not too bad.” Coin Elder said, stroking his beard.

“Was this dragon subdued by you?” Coin Elder asked.

The crimson dragon was immediately annoyed, rolling his eyes, glaring at the two of them. Even though he knew that they might be the controllers of the Void God Realm, he was still extremely dissatisfied.

“This is my disciple, in the future, he will inherit some of my teachings.” Shi Hao replied.

“You are taking in disciples when you are still this young?” Coin Elder smirked. However, he felt like this crimson dragon serving as Shi Hao’s disciple was still rather fitting.

Sigh

, I’ve been afflicted with the Immortal Breaking Curse, might not have much time left. I have to leave behind a disciple, you know?” Shi Hao feigned pain.

“What?” The two of them were both shocked. They immediately became clear-headed, their expressions no longer distracted, they were startled instead.

Immortal Breaking Curse, what was this? Even true immortals would be crippled without exception, powerful to the extreme!

“Do seniors have any way of getting rid of it?” Shi Hao humbly asked for guidance.

It was because while in that life restricted region, he had asked that white-clothed man how to get rid of this curse. At the very least, the lord of the restricted region had never heard of a way to get rid of it, could only face it head-on.

However, it was rumored that apart from immortal kings, all those who suffered from the curse were crippled, it was merely a matter of time.

Shi Hao was a bit stunned at the time. There was actually no cure?!

The lord of the restricted region was extremely direct, telling him that it was precisely why there was no way to get rid of it that it was worth him using this to test Shi Hao. Only by miraculously making it through in the end, not being crippled, was there a chance of him becoming history’s most powerful Self Release Realm cultivator.

At the time, Shi Hao released a bitter smile. What was the point of being history’s strongest Self Release Realm cultivator? Even true immortals were crippled in the end!

Of course, he understood what the lord of the restricted region meant. It was because the other party experienced too much, witnessed too many hardships. What he needed now was someone who surpassed all other experts, at the very least, someone who exceeded him, the lord of the restricted region.

Otherwise, any further nurturing was useless. Shi Hao would be just like the eight previous true immortals, all of them dying in the end.

The enemies and situations the lord of the restricted region faced might be extremely terrifying, or else he himself wouldn’t have died.

Shi Hao knew that the white-clothed man wanted to head to the other side of the dam, advance forward, but back then, he returned while covered in blood, dying soon afterwards.

The successor this type of person needed naturally exceeded all those of the past, needed to become the most powerful!

Immortal Breaking Curse, it shredded through the cultivation of immortal dao level existences, viewed even by that white-clothed man as a testing stone, able to assess if Shi Hao truly possessed heaven-defying power.

Shi Hao could only sigh. This type of test really was too severe.

Which was why when he saw Bird Grandpa and Coin Elder he asked for guidance like this. It really was no different from giving medicine to a dead horse.

“The era we experienced, it ought to be… we have heard of the Immortal Breaking Curse, but we don’t have too deep of an impression. It seems to not have any cure.” Coin Elder said.

Shi Hao already knew that something was wrong with them for quite some time, that they forgot some things of their past.

“There is no point in hiding anything from you anymore. We were injured, moreover, we were guarding some things, which was why our conditions seem to be worsening.” Coin Elder said.

He admitted that he would often forget some things, and that it was related to this.

“What are you two guarding?” Shi Hao was shocked.

“Let’s go, we’ll fetch your precious technique now, but it’ll depend on you to see if you can obtain it. At the same time, you’ll be able to see what we are suppressing for yourself.” Bird Grandpa said.

Shi Hao’s mind jumped. He knew that he was about to touch upon Void God Realm’s hidden events, possibly its greatest secret.

The crimson dragon was extremely nervous. It was because sometimes, they spoke with their backs to him, secretly transmitting sound, not letting him hear.

There were some less important things that it could hear.

They followed a path that led into the sky, through the clouds, taking an ancient road into a boundless area of primal chaos.

A bluestone path was spread in the void. Shi Hao and the others walked to its end. They arrived at a giant ancient palace, as well as a prison.

What kind of place was this? He was full of doubts.

This was, without a doubt, a place within Void God Realm that had never been revealed to outsiders. There were great secrets hidden within!

“Be careful, don’t get too close.” Bird Grandpa reminded.

When they approached the giant black ancient palace, they stopped Shi Hao.

In the palace, it was extremely dark, but he could still make out some stone statues. They were ancient and mysterious, all long cracked apart, but there wasn’t much dust covering them.

However, the statues had chains around their bodies, tightly bound.

Shi Hao knew that all of this was formed from spiritual force, including those chains, that they were all unmatched natural laws.

As soon as they approached, he sensed extraordinary power. It was extremely mysterious, posing a threat to even him.

One had to understand that he had already reached the extreme in Void God Realm, but he still felt as if he was being stared at by a great desolate beast, sensing danger. This place was definitely unordinary.

On the ancient stone statues, there was some faint black mist swirling about, carrying demonic power.

“You all are falling into depravity because of them?” Shi Hao asked Bird Grandpa in shock.

“There are other reasons as well.” Bird Grandpa said.

This was too much of a shock! These statues were this terrifying?

Shi Hao looked over. Beyond this palace was a great prison, inside of it extremely bizarre altars. Every single one of these altars had a sealed vessel, carrying traces of blood.

The altars were borrowed to seal the jars, the blood unknown if it was needed for the sealing, or if it overflowed from the vessels.

There were several dozen altars, several dozen vessels!

The vessels were also releasing black mist carrying demonic power.

Shi Hao frowned. This type of black mist was a bit familiar, carrying the ominous and inauspiciousness. It was just like the sinister black mist Great Elder Meng Tianzheng faced at the final crux of his immortal ascension.

“The precious technique you want is being suppressed over there. I fear that you are unable to head over and seize it.” Bird Grandpa said.

There were two bone books, one piece in the black palace, one in the prison.
