The soldiers war cry echoed throughout the city as they charged into the fleets with everything they had. "Did he feel us coming and shut himself inside?" Realm asked as he reached the ship.

It was trapped inside of a large dark cube, he couldn't see anything that was going on inside. No matter how hard he tried looking, it just wouldn't work.

Realm tapped the large dark cube a few times. It felt like a bullet proof glass panel.

Only many times more durable and stronger.

"Realm. So you're already here." Said Delta as she suddenly leapt onto his fleet.

She had just arrived.

She was fully geared, with all three of her swords and in good health.

Completely unlike when they first met.

"Yep, I used field to transport myself here. Also I'm not sure... Probably has something to do with the King's ability. Let's wait it out. There's still two of us remaining for our squad to be complete. We'll take him out sooner or later." Said Realm.

Delta's Katana's lit up in flames before she thrust it at the dark cube.

*Clang!*

Not even a scratch had formed.

"Tsk, I guess we have to wait it." She clicked her tongue.

"Hey!? What's going on!? Why can't I use my ability?" Kylo asked.

It wasn't just him, on top of the deck it was all of them. None of their abilities were working.

"Dimensions." Said The King.

He took a step towards them and the wood on the deck beneath his feet, cracked slightly.

"All abilities are powerless within this dimension I've created. All except for mine." Said the king as he took a step towards them.

They tried taking a step back, but their bodies were frozen, it wouldn't move no matter how much they tried.

It was similar yet different to Gray's ability.

"Dad! L-Leave them out of this!" Ruby begged, as she too couldn't move.

[Crash!]

Her face was suddenly grabbed by him before being slammed down into the deck.

The fear in their hearts grew as he walked towards them with an absurd amount of blood lust, they had never seen anything like it before.

His figure was nothing extraordinary, his physique was shredded but it wasn't gigantic in anyway.

But the aura he emitted made him almost resemble a mountain ahead of them.

Their jaws trembled as they couldn't escape.

'Move! Move MOVE!!' Ria yelled out in her mind.

"Thank you For coming all this way." Said The King with a smile in his face.

Gray's head cocked to the right in confusion, his eyes grew cold and dark as he asked. "What did you just say?"

[30 seconds until evolution is complete.]

"System Stop playing around"

[28 Seconds]

"I told you... If anything bad happens to them... I won't forgive you... SYSTEM!!!"

As the thought of something bad happening to them flashed by Gray's mind, he could feel his desperateness grow.

The darkness inside of him was blooming.

As ruby pushed her head out of the deck and looked up, her heart sank.

Ahead of her, everyone could be seen collapsed on the floor.

All seven of them. They were all covered in injuries and bruises from a one-sided beating.

Gray was the only one that was uninjured. The king didn't bother with him since he wasn't even conscious.

All of them were lined up, one beside the other on the floor ahead of the king. All except for Gray who was laying on the deck.

[20 Seconds until evolution is complete.]

Ria was first in line as she reminded him of his daughter with the hair colour. Aurora and Violet followed.

Dark dimensional spears could be seen above the first three.

"You're finally up I've been waiting It just wouldn't be fun to kill them without you watching." Said The king.

[10 Seconds until evolution is complete]

The look of despair grew on Ruby's face as tears began to flow down her eyes.

"Don't do it dad Please! I'm sorry! I promise I'll do whatever you say just! Please!"

Tears began flowing down Lita and Lara's eyes as they tried to move to stop him. But their voices wouldn't come out.

Kylo veins could be seen bulging out of Kylo's neck as he grit his teeth. He couldn't hold back his tears as muffled groans were let out of him.

[7 Seconds until evolution is complete.]

The king took in a deep breath before slowly letting it out.

He seemed to think about something for a moment.

[5 Seconds until evolution is complete.]

"You know Ruby I'll be starting with these three, and I want you to never forget Their deaths are your fault."

[2 seconds until evolution is complete.]

The king raised his arm and swung it down.

[Evolution Complete.]

Gray's finger twitched, his eyes opened wide and a bright glow suddenly flashed across the room.

With his wide-open eyes, the first thing Gray saw, was a spear impale the three of them.

Aurora, Violet and his sister, Ria.

- Memory.

They had a feast the night after Ria had been successfully retrieved from the Labyrinth. Whilst they ate, they all discussed about the things they wanted to do after the apocalypse was over.

"If they make a cure for the virus... And the horned ones stop attacking us, what would happen to us? What would you guys like to do?" Kylo asked.

A surprised look appeared on the table, it was a simple question but it required quite a lot of thought since none of them had ever thought they'd make it this far.

"Hm~ I'd like to spend more time with my brother!" Said Ria with a bright smile. "I want us to watch movies, argue, hang out, have fun and do all sorts of things we've missed out on." She added with a smile.

Just the thought of doing all those things seemed to make her happy. Gray's heart thumped at that reply.

He didn't expect words to have such an impact.

"Ah- Ria that's not fair! You can't steal Gray! He's mine! I want to spend more time with him too." Said Lita.

"Eh- What about me?" Kylo asked as he pointed at himself.

"Kylo is Kylo. Kylo is also mine." She replied.

Everyone started laughing. Lita's innocence was so adorable, Lara couldn't help but pinch her cheeks.

"I'd... I'd also like to spend more time with Gray... Lita... And Kylo... And Lara... And Ria and Violet... And... Well... All of you." Said Aurora.

Violet raised her hands, before blushing as she said. "Then me too... I'd also like to continue spending time with you all... I'm really glad I made the option to join you all back at the refugee."

Upon saying that, she glanced at Gray and smiled.

They turned to Lara, who blushed as she did not expect to be added into the circle.

"M-Me too? A-Ah... Then..." She scratched her chin and turned to Gray before saying. "I think it would be fun to keep spending time with everyone." She said with a smile.

Lastly it was Gray's turn to speak. They all turned to him and stared at him intensely, waiting to hear what he said.

For the first time, they saw a bright and innocent smile filled with pure joy appear on his face as he chuckled.

"Me too.. I'd like to continue spending time with all of you. I'll make sure to put an end to this apocalypse so it becomes reality."

Upon hearing that, Lara stepped up, grabbing the plastic cup before raising it up to the air.

"Then let's toast to it!"

Even though it was orange juice they all joined in with the energy.

"To the apocalypse's end and staying together!"

"To the apocalypse's end and staying together!!!" They repeated.

It was the first time since the apocalypse had begun that everyone was freed of worries. Upon seeing such a sight, Gray wished that he could continue to see it every day from now on.

'So this must be the good parts of being alive... It feels good...' Gray thought to himself before smiling once more.

The pain and fear which was shown in their faces as the spears impaled them.

He'll never be able to forget it.

The colours faded from within the dimension cube, as everything froze.

The sound of the fighting going on outside, the breeze, everything. It was so quiet, it was frightening.

Everything had come to a halt.

Everything except for Gray and the King.

"What is this..?" The King asked as he looked at the spears ahead of him.

They had fully impaled their backs and yet they weren't moving. The blood which was supposed to gush out, was frozen in the air.

The king was dumbfounded.

Gray slowly got up.

He staggered as he walked up towards the three.

The king turned around and instantly felt a chill go down his spine.

A shadow loomed over Gray's face.. His eyes resembled two black holes, as he walked in his direction.
