Wei Liao looked at Wei Cheng. His gaze was indifferent as if he had given up on the world. It was the kind of gaze that make Wei Cheng felt chills running down on his back. He didn't know why but the gaze that Wei Liao held looked very different.

It was as if Wei Liao had matured instantly and was no longer the same person as before.

"Do you think that just because I was born as your brother, it means I have to give everything to you? Just because I was born with weaker talent, I have to serve you with all I got and didn't pursue my own path as Eon Energy Master?" Wei Liao asked coldly. There was trace of killing intent within his eyes.

Wei Cheng shouted, "Yes!"

"Then you should go to h.e.l.l with you bulls***! Do you think I'm stupid to the point that I want to give my life to *ssh*** like you? In your dream!" Wei Liao said coldly, not bothering to give face to Wei Cheng at all. He turned around, intending to leave. "Continue to live inside your dream, but never ever involve me ever again."

"You-! Don't think that you can get away!" Wei Cheng charged once again, but he was too late because Wei Liao had moved to evade and rus.h.i.+ng a bit farther.

Wei Liao momentarily stopped to look at Ye Jiao's direction and his eyes widened when he saw the young girl was trying to stand up. The fight must have been hard for her too.

"Get away from here, Wei Liao!" Ye Jiao yelled.

"But!"

"The guards are coming," Ye Jiao readied her dagger once more. Her eyes were looking at Su Lian in front of her warily. She might have wounded this woman, but it didn't mean that the fight has ended.

Wei Liao's eyes flashed in understanding. He quickly turned around and dashed away from the place.

"Don't think that you can get away!" Wei Cheng roared. He utilized his Eon Energy, but before he could move, a knife appeared in front of him, nearly hitting his cheek if only he was not fast enough.

Ye Jiao had prepared some knives in her storage ring in case of emergency. Seeing how Qin Zheng would always keep one with him, she knew that it would be convenient. Unfortunately, her aim was still very poor.

The momentarily pause in Wei Cheng's movements gave Wei Liao the time he needed to get away from the residence.

On the other hand, Ye Jiao twisted her body to move from her direction because Su Lian has returned back to attack her. The woman's face was blue in anger and hatred, but she didn't stop her movements.

Her speed has lowered due to the wound that Ye Jiao gave to her, but she didn't stop.

Ye Jiao made use of her remaining Eon Energy to keep on moving away. She didn't have enough energy to keep on attacking Su Lian because she could sense that more guards were heading this way. In addition, there was this particularly strong enemy that was making his way here.

Making the last attempt to attack, Ye Jiao directed her dagger to Su Lian's back. With exerting enough force, she caused quite a deep wound. It wouldn't be enough to kill her, but it should be able to stop Su Lian from moving around. This should be enough because she had to move away from her.

Wei Cheng tried to block her path when he noticed that she was about to run away. His eyes glinted with fury.

"You're not getting away!"

"You won't be able to stop me," Ye Jiao said flatly. Exerting her Eon Energy, she pushed the young man back and tried to kick him.

He managed to evade but at the same time, it gave the s.p.a.ce Ye Jiao needed to run away. Su Lian wanted to chase after her too, but her body was hurt and her daughter was still crying like it was the end of the world.

"Call the doctor now!" Su Lian yelled. The servants who were quite a distance away scurried away to call the doctor. They knew that the situation was grave.

Looking at her daughter, Su Lian was filled with grieve. She knew how much Wei Sheng treasured them and with Wei Mi in this condition, it would be the same as telling him that the treasure has turned into a trash.
