203 Bao Fu Organization

Ye Jiao looked at the large man before moving her gaze to her senior brothers. "Has it ended?"

"Yes," Qi Huan wiped the blood that splattered to his face. "He has died and there's no chance for him to return back anymore."

"I'm not hoping for him to return back again."

Lu Wan relieved a sigh. "I'm so glad it's finally over. I'm already dead tired from facing this man. He's so energetic."

"Ah."

Now that Lu Wan mentioned it, the three of them have almost used up all their Eon Energy in the fight just now. It looked like facing Eon Energy Master rank 3 was not that simple at all.

"We should return back and write down Bao Fu's name."

"Eh, wait, how about the girl from before?"

Lu Wan's expression turned into that of a disgust. This was the first time he realized why those people always wanted the girl. What they did was truly unforgivable. He pointed to the bed. "She's over there, but I'm not sure you would want to see her."

"Why?"

Qi Huan pulled Ye Jiao out. "It's not healthy for a young girl to see it. Yu Shui, burn the residence, we're going to write it on the ground outside."

"Got it."

Seeing how the two of them were so adamant to have her not see the sight, Ye Jiao also didn't pester them any longer. If they didn't want her to see, then she wouldn't take a look.

As they walked out, Qi Huan took out a different sword again. He pierced it on the ground and pull it along to start writing. Ye Jiao headed to the other side and started writing too. Soon, two words appeared on the ground.

Bao Fu

The residence has started to burn, so Lu Wan walked out.

"Let's go back. The villagers are going to return back soon."

After the children got out, a lot of the guards tried to handle the matter by going out and pacifying the villagers. They obviously tried to take the children back, but the parents didn't want it. They were starting to panic because the higher ranked guards didn't appear even when the situation was this bad.

"Just where are they?"

"I don't know. They should be here anytime soon."

"Hey, there's something burning."

"Holy…. Bring water! Hurry!"

The guards were trying their best to put off the fire while the villagers were confused. What happened today? This entire residence seemed weird.

One of them suddenly noticed the ground near the door seemed different. It was made with a thick and st.u.r.dy layer of rock, so there shouldn't be anything that could pierce through it.

"There's letters over there."

"Bao… Fu…."

"It's Bao Fu Organization!"

"Someone must have reported!"

The chaos ensued as the villagers had mixed feelings. Some of them were fine with this governor because they didn't have any daughter. Others wept because they were hoping that this happened earlier while the others were happy because their daughter didn't have to be sacrificed.

"Their reaction varies greatly," Ye Jiao observed from the top of a building, along with her two senior brothers.

"He's a governor that gives them benefits. If not for that, there's no way he can be a leader of this large city. Those who didn't have to sacrifice anything would feel bad that the governor died, but those who had to sacrifice their daughters felt happy instead," Qi Huan explained. "That's just how human's nature is. As long as it didn't affect their life, they would not care."

"Don't think too much, you can't possibly make them all happy because as the scale becomes bigger, their value and consideration are different," Lu Wan grinned. "Just think of the reward that we'll get from the organization. We'll be able to use it for a lot of things."

"Oh right, they have a new herb coming, but the price is 50 points. I heard that it's filled with Eon Energy and very good for Eon Energy Master rank 2."

"What? Really? Eh, wait, I'm not searching for herbs that can help me breakthrough to rank 3!"

Ye Jiao giggled when she saw Lu Wan in a dilemma. She directed her gaze to the people around her. In the village before, the leader was a common enemy for them all because they were unhappy but they were unable to do anything. However, she found a lot of them were already Eon Energy Master rank 2.

If they started a riot, it would be easy to make a great upheaval in this city.

So, she knew. They compromised with the decision of the imperial family and accepted the man in this city. Things were not always pure white and black. There were a lot of things that weighed the calculation and created the balance.

"I'll have a lot of points. I'm going to trade them for the Eon Energy concentration room," Ye Jiao said to the others. "What are your plans for the time being?"

"I'll gather points to buy herbs," Lu Wan answered. "Until I have to return back to Chen Kingdom because they found me or I reach rank 3 and directly head to the north, I'll continue to do missions and train."

"I have to return back to Chi Kingdom before it's Spring," Qi Huan said. "There's less than 3 weeks until the winter is over, so I better hurry and go back or I'll be late."

"Is there any important event?"

"You can say that. If you come to Chi Kingdom, I'll take you along."

Ye Jiao nodded. "I'll see about it later. I don't really have any plan to go anywhere right now aside from going back to the headquarter to train again. Besides, I haven't had the chance to eat the Eon Energy Pill rank 3 that you give me."

"You hadn't?" Qi Huan was alarmed when he heard that. Ye Jiao's growth was so fast that he thought she should have already eaten it a long time ago. After all, her proficiency in using Eon Energy was already above him. In addition, the amount of Eon Energy was nearly double compared to him.

"Yeah. I was too busy collecting points and doing missions before."

"You're a monster."

"What? Senior Brother Lu, that's impolite!"

The three of them departed as they talked to one another. Each of them were discussing their next plan and the time they should meet again in the future.
