"You can't return back?" Qi Huan's tone sounded strange.

The guard nodded. "There's a major upheaval in Chen Kingdom Capital City. Apparently, there are two Eon Energy Master rank 3 that fight to the point that they destroy a lot of buildings. Right now, the transportation array focused on transporting them."

"Have you found out what happened?"

"Yes. This occurs yesterday evening right after the arena battle ends."

"I see. Is there anyone who came to my residence over the days I'm away?"

The servant was startled when she heard the question. She averted her eyes as she started to speak. "T-there is… Madam Su Lian came over a day after your departure."

Su Daji's heart was filled with a sense of unease when she heard that news. She quickly returned back to her quarter. Upon seeing the servant's fearful expression, she knew that something must have gone wrong.

"Wei Liao! Where are you?" Su Daji yelled with all of her strength, worry filled her entire heart.

The weak voice of his son broke her heart. Su Daji dashed to the inner room and saw her son lying on the bed. He looked so weak and sickly, totally unlike the cheerful and proud young boy that she left just a few days before. Her eyes scanned the boy as she approached him.

With her Eon Energy, she quickly observed the boy's core…. Which has turned empty.

"Who is it? WHO STEALS YOUR CORE?"

Wei Liao's face contorted in hatred as he uttered each word slowly. "Su. Lian."

The name of her cousin made Su Daji's heart turn cold. She stood up and walked out. "Stay here and don't get out."

"Yes, Mother," Wei Liao responded serenely. He was filled with remorse and hatred because Su Lian suddenly came and attacked him. With his frail power, he was not a match of that woman, so he had to give up his core. It was so vexing.

Su Daji dashed to Su Lian's quarter as she banged open the door. With her strength as Eon Energy Master rank 3, it was easy for her to shake off the servants who tried to stop her.

Some servant tried to attack Su Daji, but with a flung of her palm, they were sent back. Her eyes were blazing with hatred as she scanned the room before her.
