118 Punishmen

"I don't want to repeat something like that again," Lu Wan said as he entered the main hall. His body wouldn't be able to survive if he had to run like a madman the entire time.

Ye Jiao nodded in agreement. Even though they had used Eon Energy to replenish their energy and used it to maintain steady power in their legs, they were still dead tired. It was too much for them to run that much.

"At least, we learn better control of Eon Energy."

"Yeah," Lu Wan sighed. "I'm not doing this training ever again, though. I already have enough when I have to climb those cliffs before."

Ye Jiao couldn't refute that. The two of them handed the governor's head as the man in the counter checked.

"You finished the mission within the time limit, so here's your reward."

"Reward?" Ye Jiao tilted her head in confusion. The man in the counter before didn't tell them that they would get a reward for doing their mission, so she thought that there was none for a disciple.

The man nodded his head. "We have points system for people registered as our employees. The number of points you can receive from a mission depends on the number of targets and their ranks. For example, the two of you have just gotten the mission to defeat one rank 2 Eon Energy Master, so you'll have 2 points in total. Because this is a group mission, your reward is split and you get 1 point each."

Different than before, this time the man took his time to explain the rules and system to the two of them.

Ye Jiao nodded. "Does it mean we have 1 point each now?"

"Yes."

"What can we use the point for?"

"There are several uses for the point. First, you can trade the point with the items we have in the store. For the list of the item, you may head to the side hall on the right. Secondly, you can trade the point for facilities that we have here such as the training hall and many others. If you want to know more, you can head to the side hall on the left."

Ye Jiao turned her head to the side in curiosity. She knew that there was a door at the side, but she didn't know that they would lead to another counter for different use. It seemed that there were many things she still didn't know from Bao Fu Organization.

"Are there herbs?" Lu Wan asked.

"Yes, we have a variety of herbs here. However, I'll suggest that you collect more point before you start trading because they can be quite expensive."

Both Ye Jiao and Lu Wan smiled wryly. As expected, they would have to do a lot of missions if they wanted to use the point. A single point wouldn't be able to be of much use for them.

"Can the point be traded to money?" Lu Wan asked.

The man nodded. "It's possible. We allow the trade of point to money but not money to point. If you want to, you can trade one point for 25 silvers."

25 silvers were a lot for ordinary people, but it wouldn't help them much if they lived in big a city. In the capital city alone, the price of food could reach 1 silver or even more if they didn't pay attention.

"It's not really profitable," Lu Wan murmured. Since it was impossible to buy the point, he would never trade them to money. After all, the thing he didn't lack was money.

"I see. Thank you very much for the information," Ye Jiao added as she took back their badges. "One more thing, will our master be informed of our mission?"

"Yes, he'll be informed of your progress in the mission. In addition," the man's eyes landed on Ye Jiao's hand. "He'll receive a report of your medical condition too."

"I'm dead."

"Senior Brother Yu?" Ye Jiao was startled to see the pale expression on Lu Wan's face.

Lu Wan waved his hand. "We're going now. Thank you for the information."

As Ye Jiao ran outside to follow after Lu Wan, she realized that his expression seemed like he had lost his soul. "Senior Brother Yu?"

"Jiao'er, if Master kills me, please build me a good grave."

"…Let's just have a rest first, ok?"

Ye Jiao dragged Lu Wan to the nearby building as she searched for an inn. As she entered, she asked if they accepted normal currency. Thankfully, they didn't have to use points to stay in the city despite the fact that the price of the room was quite expensive.

"Let's sleep for today and eat to our fill," Ye Jiao smiled bitterly. "We're going back tomorrow."

Right now, Lu Wan was not in the mood to eat. The man on the counter's gaze landed on Ye Jiao's hand, which meant that he knew there was a scratch in Ye Jiao's arm. As it was inflicted with poison, the color was different than normal and it hadn't disappeared even after a few days. With that information alone, Lu Wan knew that their master would be able to find out that the wound was from him.

Wounding teammate….

He could guess that their master would never let them off.

After a day of rest, Lu Wan's complexion turned better. The two of them set off back to the capital city as they wanted to train in the training hall again.

"Are we going to sneak in as servants again?" Ye Jiao asked.

Lu Wan nodded. "It's the easiest way to get in. It's not like the Lu Family pays close attention to their servant's movements around me. Even though they're one of the prestigious families, they're quite lacking in monitoring."

He found this out when he was young and checked the security system. From them, he realized that his father didn't care for his security at all. Even the number of servants often got mixed up because of mistakes.

Ye Jiao looked at Lu Wan in confusion. "Is your father didn't care for a genius like you?"

"There's some care, but I doubt that it's that important in their eyes," Lu Wan shrugged. "It's quite complicated."

"Just tell me. There's still a distance away from the capital."

"Ok. It all started from…."

The two of them felt sudden pressure as they readied their stance. Upon seeing the familiar figure standing a few meters in front of them at an unknown time, they were shocked.

"Master!"

"Brats, I received the report not long ago," Zhan Jing didn't beat around the buss as he said straight to the point. "What an awesome wound on your junior sister, Lu Wan."

Lu Wan shuddered as his face turned pale. "Master… that's unintentional. I…."

"It means the two of you lack training," Zhan Jing smiled. "It's just convenient that I'm not going to have any mission for the next few weeks. Aside from personal drill, it's time for you two to spar with me."

'We're dead.'

There was only one thing inside the two children's minds as Zhan Jing used his Eon Energy to bring them back to the Lu Family Residence.

They would not be able to escape this h.e.l.lish training at all.
