“Well… She’ll probably just design it herself or just find someone else to do it.”

“That’s impossible. The director isn’t that type of person. You must be overthinking it.”

Mi Qian originally wanted to make Mu Siyin give up the opportunity to compete. Yet, who would have thought that Mu Siyin may look dumb, but she was actually pretty slick!

Mi Qian simply stopped beating around the bush with Mu Siyin and asked her straightforwardly, “It seems like you won’t give up on this opportunity. You’re not… planning on getting your boyfriend to help you resolve this matter with Mrs. Laura, are you?”

Mu Siyin laughed upon hearing that. “Why do you think so?”

Mi Qian raised her eyebrows. “I’m not the only one who thinks that way. Everyone in the office probably thinks so too.”

Mu Siyin sighed helplessly. “I don’t think capabilities can be faked.”

Mi Qian laughed softly. “That’s not necessarily true.”

Mu Siyin sneered. “It definitely can’t. Only time can prove it, and we shall wait and see.”

Mi Qian was shocked at Mu Siyin, who was indirectly challenging her.

Mu Siyin smiled brilliantly. “It’s still too early to say who that person will be.”

Watching Mi Qian leave, Mu Siyin shook her head speechlessly. ‘These women really do think they’ll be superior forever.’

Almost everyone in the office was monitoring Mu Siyin’s progress with her design. However, the more they did that, the more Mu Siyin was unwilling to touch the drawing board. Instead, she was either busy flipping through information or doing her research online.

This made her colleagues feel that nothing was going well for her and that she was just trying to make a fuss!

Unknowingly, half a day had pa.s.sed. When Mu Siyin was heading to the cafeteria for lunch, Ji Yang suddenly called.

Mu Siyin lifted her phone and answered the call.

“Yangyang.”

“Yinyin, Qiu Ci will be back tomorrow. We are planning to go watch her performance tomorrow night. Have you freed up your time?”

Mu Siyin was stunned for a moment. She did not expect time to fly by so fast. In just a blink of an eye, Qiu Ci was coming back.

“Yes, don’t worry. As long as she comes back, I will always make time for her.”

“That’s great. I was afraid that your you-know-who would be very controlling and wouldn’t let you out.”

Ji Yang’s words really hit the mark. A few days ago, s.h.i.+ Beiyu had just banned Mu Siyin from meeting up with Ji Yang for the next half a month.

Mu Siyin paused for a while and chuckled. “That won’t happen. I’m free to meet up with all of you.”

“Okay, that’s good to hear. See you tomorrow!”

After Mu Siyin hung up the phone, she became worried about how she was going to tell s.h.i.+ Beiyu now that she had nonchalantly agreed to meet up with her friends.
