Chapter 180: I Fell for Her Trap

Mu Heyuan froze as he stood rooted on the ground. Fury burned in his heart as the milk showered him.

Only one word could describe his state now: pathetic.

His exquisite black suit had been stained white from the milk, and his hair was dripping with milk droplets.

His fancy-looking gold-rimmed gla.s.ses looked like they had been spray painted white. Needless to say, he looked extremely comical.

Seeing this, Li Tongzhi quickly took some paper towels and wiped Mu Heyuan down frantically.

“My G.o.d! Why didn’t you let us know you were there?”

Mu Heyuan’s face turned purple from the anger. He raised a hand and pushed Li Tongzhi aside. “What did you want me to say? Why are you blaming me for this mess you’ve created? The atmosphere in this house has become so bad because of you people. Can’t you be more decent?”

Mu Xingyu looked conflicted as she stood next to him. She hung her head low and did not dare utter a word.

Li Tongzhi’s forehead creased as she said, “It’s all Mu Siyin’s fault! She was the one who started scolding Xingyu in the morning. It got to Xingyu, and that was why… she aimed at the wrong person.”

Mu Heyuan was about to tell Mu Siyin off when Old Madam Mu’s voice rose behind them. “It’s so early in the morning. What’s all this fuss?”

The Old Madam did not know what to do either. Ever since Mu Siyin changed, the smell of gunpowder seemed to have overtaken their house.

Mu Xingyu feared Mu Old Madam the most in the household. As the Old Madam walked forward with a walking stick in her hand, Mu Xingyu could not help but grow nervous. She hung her head low, too intimidated to even glance upward.

However, Mu Heyuan pulled a long face and turned around first. He looked at the Old Madam and roared, “It’s time we reorganize how things are run in this house.”

The Old Madam instantly halted in her steps. With her walking cane supporting her, she stared dumbfoundedly at how pitiful Mu Heyuan looked.

After a while, the Old Madam furrowed her brows and looked at the people before her. She said sternly, “What in the name is going on?”

One sentence from her was enough to keep Li Tongzhi and Mu Xingyu’s mouths shut.

Seeing this, Mu Siyin blinked as she stood up and said to the Old Madam, “It’s quite obvious. Mu Xingyu was the one that threw milk at Dad. It’s really that simple.”

Mu Xingyu could no longer hold in her temper this time. She lifted her head and said with anger in her eyes, “If you didn’t scold me, why would I throw milk at you?”

Mu Siyin looked at her in disbelief. “When did I scold you? You were the one being all sensitive about it. You’re just trying to blame me.”

“Mu Siyin! You did it intentionally! You purposely angered Xingyu so she could throw milk at you. After that, you dodged so that your father would get it.
