A voice sounded in Jiang Chen's mind and slowly faded away. Jiang Chen got up and went out of the cultivation room. At the Divine Platform, many disciples were gathering around. The Divine Platform was created by the founder of the Divine Sect. Some rumors said that the reason why the Divine Sect was located in Tang City was just because of the Divine Platform. Some of those rumors said that there was a stone under the platform that was powerful enough to increase one's power to the next realm no matter how powerful they are. Of course, all of the people that can be near the Divine Platform were only part of the Divine Sect. If one was to be caught breaking the platform, they would be immediately expelled from the sect.

"We shall commence the monthly distribution. All outer disciples will gain 1 Body-Tempering demonic core. All Inner disciples will get a Qi-Gathering demonic core. While all core disciples will get a Core-Refining demonic core."

The man on top of the platform waved his hand and a surge of energy shot out from his body. Beams of light came out from the top of the platform and made its way to every disciple that was at the distribution. Some disciples were not there because of a breakthrough or they were in closed-door training. Soon after the distribution, almost all of the disciple started to wander away. Jiang Chen walked up to the Divine Platform and got an alert from the system.

Jiang Chen wondered if the rumor about the stone was true. He needed a time where he can see what was underneath the platform safely. After Jiang Chen examined the platform some more, he walked away and started to wander around the sect.

"Young lady, how would you like if we take you out for something good?"

Out of the corner of his ear, Jiang Chen heard a really disgusting voice. He looked over to the sound and saw a group of 3 people surrounding a young girl about the age of 18. She seemed to appear calm and didn't seem to be bothered. Jiang Chen was about to rush over and save the girl when he saw something that he didn't expect. The girl exerted a strength of Body-Tempering Stage 5 and the three men were sent flying.

"I guess that this is really a world where strength matters the most." Jiang Chen thought and made up his mind about cultivating.

Jiang Chen walked around the area after the incident with the girl and found himself in front of a building with a sign that said "Manual Hall". In front of the building was an old man that was quietly standing there staring at every disciple going in and out of the hall. Many sects had an expert stationed at their manual hall since that was where most of the sect's valuable skills are. If a sect lost all of their skills, they would be unable to reward or teach their disciples. Most sects have a secret manual that enabled them to rise to fame that is kept at the top of the hall. Jiang Chen knew that he shouldn't get on the elder's bad side or he might regret it.

"Disciple greets elder."

The elder just nodded his head and waved his hand to signal Jiang Chen into the building. Jiang Chen walked into the building and set his gaze on the rows and rows of shelves. The first floor can be accessed by anyone. The 2nd floor can be accessed by an inner disciple. The 3rd floor can be accessed by the core disciples. The last floor can only be entered if you are the headmaster of the sect or if you are his direct disciple. Jiang Chen walked around and randomly picked up a manual.

All of the manuals were as clear as day inside of Jiang Chen's brain. He could recall any of the manuals that he picked up and can even read what was the content of the manual. Jiang Chen swept through the entire first floor until he finally stopped and sat down. The entire first floor had about 402 low human manuals and 5 medium human manuals. Jiang Chen walked into the private chamber for disciples that needed a quiet place if they get enlightenment in the manual hall. It was about the afternoon of the next day where Jiang Chen finally left the room.

"Hey, have you heard that most of the manuals in the first floor were misplaced this morning."

"Yeah, I also heard that people were searching for the culprit that did this."

"I want to beat up whoever did this until their own mother won't be able to recognize them!"

Jiang Chen overheard some people discussing and felt a sense of guilt since he was the one who took every single book and places them somewhere else. He quickly left the skill hall and made his way back to his house. He saw the same young girl that was being hara.s.sed the other day sitting in lotus position on a rock.

"You better not come near me, you lecher."
