Marco and Alice started to walk away from the haunted house, but both of them didn't noticed a red haired woman with a lab coat hiding behind a tree, observing Marco with narrowed eyes.

Promestein: So it's you the one who did that mess at the mountain range…

Then she looked down, towards a device that was pointing towards Marco, it was built to localize the one who destroyed her Chimera using the aura that remained in the crater, and it reached all the way to Marco.

Meanwhile, Marco and Alice were talking about what happened in the haunted house.

Alice: What happened then?

Marco: It was a little necromancer who wanted to use the souls from the nearby graveyard to make ghosts… Everything is alright now, she is gone.

Alice: Mh, where do we go now?

Marco: Well, it's time to go to the forest of the spirits to get Sylph.

Alice nodded and slithered beside Marco, heading towards Sylph in her forest.

[Night]

They made a camp since it was night, they were halfway to the forest, and Marco was starting to train for a new technique.

Alice: Today I'll teach you a technique that will be able to destroy any defence in a single attack…

Marco nodded and started to use 'Start' before following Alice's orders.

Alice: Anchor your feet in the ground…

Marco did as she said and put himself in a stance, then he took deep breaths and listened to Alice.

Alice: Now make a step forward while charging a fist, then punch horizontally.

Marco nodded and punched to a tree, the tree was pierced from the fist, but Alice wasn't satysfied with the results.

Alice: No, it's wrong… Your bones need to be like this…

Alice and Marco trained for a pair of hours, then Marco did what Alice said, and this time the tree broke in two, making Alice satysfied.

Alice: Alright, this is the s.h.i.+eld Breaker, it's said that the fighter Amelia was able to destroy walls of human towns that reached the sky with only a fist, it is certainly weaker than your bijuudama, but it is pretty strong, you can use it when you haven't reached the 4th Gate.

Marco nodded and said.

Alice agreed and like usually, she coiled around a tree while Marco picked a sleeping bag.

Marco and Alice reached the forest of the spirits, they were at the very edge of the forest, but the trees were already so thick they could barely see inside.

Marco: So this is the Forest of the Spirits…

Alice: Yes, along with Sylph, there are lots of fairies and elves that live here. But they usually mean no harm to humans… But the fairies can be a bit mischievous.

Marco: *Sigh* I'll think something about that when it happens… Will you come this time?

Alice stood unmoving at the edge of the forest with her eyes closed.

Alice: if the Monster Lord paraded through their forest, the fairies would be shocked. I'll wait outside.

Marco: Alright, I will return as soon as possible.

After saying that, Marco headed further into the forest, alone.

Meanwhile, Alice was looking at his back before sighing.

Marco was travelling in the forest when he found a clearing,, he was just going straight since he didn't have any idea about where Sylph was, but before he could make another step, he heard a song.

Marco turned towards the source of the song, and he found a fairy in the clearing that was humming a song while watering the field of flowers.

The fairy was at the size of a palm, she had blue b.u.t.terfly wings, had blue boots, purple long hair and a flower around her body.

From the flower, a cloudy liquid that looks like honey dripped out , she didn't seemed to notice Marco, so he stood silent and backed away, but…

*Crack*

When he made a step back, he stepped on a branch, breaking it in half and alarming the fairy, who turned towards Marco and yelled with excitement.

Fairy: Ah! Human!

Then the fairy flew over Marco, who sighed in exasperation, and said with an excited voice.

Fairy: Hey… Let's play!

Marco: No.

Fairy: I want to play a prank on big bro's p.e.n.i.s with this Succubus Flower… If I fo that, I'll get to see that white stuff!

Marco: You can't.

Fairy: Ehhh? Why?

Marco looked at the Fairy with a serious face and said.

Marco: If you tell me that, then it isn't a prank anymore, got it?

Fairy: ...Ummm… Yeah…

Then Marco smiled and patted the fairy's head with two fingers, then he said.

Marco: I'll teach you how to prank people…

Fairy: Hm!

The fairy was excited, and followed Marco.

Some time later, the two of them found a group of fairies who were playing together, then Marco whispered something at the Fairy.

Marco: Alright, you know the plan.

The fairy nodded and put a scary mask on her face, then she silently flew towards the group, and when she was near them she said.

Fairy: Hey girls!

The other fairies turned towards the fairy, while she immediately flew in front of them and screamed while wearing the mask.

The fairies were taken with surprise and screamed in fear while Marco was silently laughing behind some trees.

The fairies flew away from fear while the masked one turned back to Marco while laughing.

Marco: See? This is a real prank.

Fairy: Hahaha! Did you see their faces!? They were hilarious! Hahahaha!

Marco: Yeah… Now can you tell me where Sylph is? 'Now that I think about it… There should be a dangerous monster in the forest…'

Fairy: She? She is there.

The fairy pointed towards a direction and Marco nodded with a smile, then he said bye to the fairy, who was still holding her mask, and walked towards the direction she pointed to.

Marco continued to walk, he finally reached the deepest parts of the forest.

Marco: Where in G.o.d's name is she…?

?: Oh? What business does a human have here…?

Marco: Kyaaaa!

Marco jumped away from the sudden sound, the place was too silent so he was scared when he heard a voice near him. When he recovered, he found out who was the source of the voice.

There was a wingless fairy that was floating in front of him around the size of a palm, she had long green hair, big amber eyes and a childish face.

She was wearing a leaf green dress with some gold ornaments around, she had green boots and green long gloves, and instead of ears she had something like green feathers or leaves.

This was Sylph, the spirit of the wind.

Marco: *Exhales* Jeez, don't scare me like that… Are you Sylph?

She winked at him and said with a smile.

Sylph: Yes, I am Sylph. Do you require something from me?

Marco: This is a robbery, give whatever precious you have to me.

Sylph: ...Eh?

Marco: I need to borrow your powers of the wind, please.

Sylph: Ohhh! Wait, what did you say before?

Marco: Nothing.

Sylph narrowed her eyes and looked suspiciously at Marco, he was wearing a poker face and gazed back at her, this lasted some seconds before Sylph smiled again.

Sylph: Then I will ask the wind for details.

Marco shrugged and waited for Sylph, who closed her eyes and concentrated…

Sylph sighed, knowing that it would be impossible anyways to know if he lied or not, so she trusted him.

Sylph: Then, prepare yourself, the Four Spirit's power can't be given to a weak man, so I will check to see if you are worthy of my power.

Marco: Alright, what should I do? 'Another G.o.dd.a.m.n fight…'
