Villagers: WHAT?!?

Marco: Yep, you just misunderstood the entire situation, so I will give you a solution… Coexist, fuse your village with the one of the harpies and live peacefully together.

When Marco suggested that, the women in the village started to talk to each other while the Elder was thinking about the suggestion.

Many dozen of minutes later, the Elder raised her head towards Marco, who was sitting in a chair and eating the remaining kebabs with Alice.

Elder: Mr. Traveler, we decided… We will accept coexistence only if the harpies accept it too, otherwise nothing will change.

Marco nodded and stopped eating to say.

Marco: Alright, we will go at early evening, you prepare your things.

The Elder nodded and everion turned at their home while Marco and Alice were finis.h.i.+ng to eat.

Alice: Are you sure you want to do it? There were probably more travelers that tried to solve the problem.

Marco: Like I said when we met, I want to achieve coexistence, and you should know that I do whatever I say to do.

Alice: …I always asked myself a question… What will you do when you reach my castle?

Marco: Well, first of all I want to look around, I wanted to visit every places and that is part of them, I always wondered how it looked inside and out…

Alice: And with the 4 Heavenly Knights? They probably would not let you inside, not even near the castle…

Marco: I try to solve it peacefully, unless I need to use force, then I will fight them.

Alice: But… You were literally kicked in the face when you used the 3rd Gate against Granberia.

Marco: Yeah, but it doesn't mean that they are unbeatable, I am sure I can beat them at the 5th Gate, or 4th Gate if I use a bijuudama…

While they were walking towards Happiness Village, Marco talked a bit about the bijuudama, and it shocked Alice, since it should be impossible to fuse holy attribute with dark attribute, but a bijuudama has both of them on a 8:2 ratio, respectively of black holy orbs and white dark orbs.

The bijuudama is the strongest technique that Marco has, even if he still couldn't use it, but the damage that it could do can't be compared with the strength of Marco in his 4th tail.

Now Marco and Alice finished their kebabs and stood up.

Alice: Alright, I will watch you, but I will not help you unless it's a special case.

It was early evening now, Marco and the Elder were walking towards the Harpy Village, Alice couldn't be seen from the harpies and if the other villagers would follow them it would be troublesome.

Elder: So… What happens if the plan fails?

Marco: I'll bring you back at the village and I leave, I never planned to kill anyone.

The Elder smiled at his words and said.

Elder: You are still too young to kill anyone…

Marco: 'Too late…'

But Marco didn't said that due to not being questioned or anything. Soon they entered the harpies' territory, the village didn't have any house in the ground, all of them were over the branches of the giant trees which were around.

Elder: We are inside the Harpy Village…

The Elder was a bit nervous since this was the first time she entered a monster village, within this 80 years of life, this was her first time that she seen one.

Marco: Don't worry, they will not hurt you… They are peaceful, look.

Marco put two fingers in his mouth and whistled, then they waited a bit.

Soon, two harpies came, they seemed sister, one seemed 8 or 9 years old and had red hair that reached her cheeks, her wings and eyes were of the same color of her hair, but she was entirely naked.

The other sister was around 17 or 18 years, she had long dark brown hair and light brown feathers, her eyes were brown too, and she was wearing clothes that covered only her bust and her booty.

Both of them were looking at Marco and the Elder with curiosity, and the little one asked.

Little Harpy: Hey Sis, there is a new boy here! I've never seen him, can we get him?

The older harpy smiled and patted her sister's head with her wing.

Older Harpy: Calm down, first we will ask why they are here since there is the Elder of the village too.

Then she turned towards Marco and the Elder and said.

Older Harpy: Sorry for my sister's behavior, she is still young.

Marco: I don't mind, I came here with the Elder to talk about something important with your queen, can you tell us where she is?

The older harpy got a bit suspicious and asked.

Older Harpy: Why?

Marco: It will be a good surprise which will help both villages, can you guide us to your queen, please?

The older harpy hesitated a bit before she shrugged and said to her younger sister.

Older Harpy: Hey Pii, do you want to stay here and wait for me? I will just help our guests.

The younger harpy, called Pii, frowned and shook her head.

Pii: No! I want to follow Big Sis!

The Elder and Marco smiled at their exchange of words, even if they are monsters, they behaved like humans.

Older Harpy: Alright, then stay beside me.

Pii: Nn!

Then the Older Harpy turned once again towards Marco and the Elder and said with a small smile.

Older Harpy: Well, you heard her…

Marco: It's nothing, she can come too.

Older Harpy: Thank you, now I'll take you to our Queen Lucretia.

Marco: 'Lucretia? So that's her name...'

The harpies turned towards a direction and took a step, but a voice stopped them.

?: There's no need.

The 4 of them raised their heads and the harpies gasped, the older one kneeled while Pii looked in admiration, Marco and the Elder's face didn't change.

The person who talked was the Queen Harpy, Lucretia, she slowly landed in front of the group.

Older Harpy: H-Her Highness!

Pii: Woah… She's so beautiful…

Lucretia, their Queen, was indeed a beautiful harpy, her hair were long and colored with a really light purple, she had green big eyes and wore a light green dress which covered her bust and abdomen.

She had a pink big feather that was pointing upwards, where her ears should be there were a pair of small pink wing-like accessories, she had pink wings and pink bird legs.

And on her head, she wore a crown made of pure gold, meaning that she was the queen.

When she landed, she took another look to her guests and noticed a small harpy admiring her with an open mouth, Lucretia smiled and patted her while saying.

Lucretia: I already know that I am beautiful, maybe one day you can be like me.

Pii: For real?! Did you hear that, Big Sis?!

The older harpy smiled and looked at Pii.

Older Harpy: Yeah, I heard that.

While the two sisters were talking, Lucretia turned towards Marco and the Elder, then she bowed a bit.

Lucretia: Welcome in my village, Elder. I didn't expected you here.

The Elder bowed a bit back at her and said.

Elder: Well, it's normal since I didn't warned you about my visit, me and the the Hero-

Marco: -I'm just an unbaptized traveler, Marco.

Elder: ...Would like to talk about the future of our villages.

Lucretia raised an eyebrow at the sudden argument, and said.

Lucretia: Please, follow me at my home.

Marco and the Elder nodded and followed Lucretia at the biggest house in the village, leaving behind the harpy sisters.

[Later]

Marco, the Elder, and Lucretia were at the latter's house, which was surprisingly built well, they were sitting on a sofa around a round table.

Lucretia: Alright, what did you want to talk about?

Marco and the Elder looked at each other before Marco sighed and said.

Marco: We would like to create a new village, made with both Happiness Village and Harpy Village.

Lucretia was surprised from the sudden request, and asked.

Lucretia: Why?

Marco: Everyone in Happiness Village knows about the reason you all kidnap men, so we decided to fuse both the villages for coexistence, the others have already agreed.

Lucretia was interested on the talk, and asked Marco.

Lucretia: And what are the advantages?

Marco: The villagers at Happiness Village can give birth to males, which can join you, you will be famous for being the first village in Illias Continent where both monsters and humans coexist, and…

Marco put an hand in his backpack and took out a cookie.

Marco: ...You can have a cookie… But.

Lucretia was a bit distracted from the cookie, but she started listening again when she hard the 'but' from Marco.

Marco: The harpies will share the men and help with the work in Happiness Village.

Lucretia closed her eyes and thought about her decision, some minutes later she opened her eyes and opened her mouth to say she needs time to think, but Marco interrupted.

Marco: Cookie with chocolate chips…

Lucretia: Deal!

Then Marco and Lucretia extended their arms, well… Lucretia extended her wing, then they shook their hands with a smile.

This will be the second step for the coexistence in the world.

Then Marco gave the cookie to Lucretia, who directly ate it from Marco's hands instead of picking it up.
