Marco started to feel once again full of energy, and immediately closed his ears to not be charmed again.

Pirate 1: This song… A Siren is coming.

Selena hesitated before ordering.

Selena: ...Everyone, run into the s.h.i.+p. This is a job for Marco, right?

Marco: …*Sigh* I'll go immediately to her…

Marco tore out pieces of his pants and stuffed them in his ears, then he walked to the bow and waited for the monster. Soon, the monster came, she was wearing only a blue bikini and a little crown made of pieces of wood and gold.

She had a little muscular chest, short grey hair made of feathers, her forearms, thighs and shoulders were covered in feather, while instead of arms and legs, she had bird-like limbs, on her back there was a pair of wings, and she was currently singing.

Siren: I thought this s.h.i.+p had nothing but women… But then suddenly, I spotted a very high quality looking piece of meat…

Marco sighed and took out a cigarette, he used Salamander's powers to lighten it up and started smoking…

Marco's body twitched a bit, before he thought.

Marco: 'Cure.'

*Status: Healthy.*

Marco's heart was full of joy even though there was a strong monster in front of him, he could basically smoke as much as he wants! He turned towards the Siren and grinned.

Marco: Come, I am in a good mood so I will not make it painful for you…

Then he activated the Chakra Gate, and waited for her.

Siren: I'll indulge in your s.e.m.e.n… Get drunk on my voice, and soar in the pleasure.

She flew down at him, but Marco grabbed her claws with his hands, even though her strength was enough to drag him behind, it was not enough to hurt him, then he lifted her up and slammed her in the bow of the s.h.i.+p.

The s.h.i.+p was strong enough to not break under his strength, and she spit saliva, Marco let her go immediately and threw a kick with Gnome's powers behind it at her face, she flew away from the s.h.i.+p and fell in the water.

*Ding*

*Special Quest[Successful]: Defeat the Siren.*

Time pa.s.sed, before a seagull came out and flew away. Marco sealed the Siren. He deactivated the Chakra Gate and removed the pieces of cloths from his ears, meanwhile Selena came out from the s.h.i.+p and complimented him.

Selena: You're pretty good. As expected of the man I was waiting for…

Marco: Meh, I was just lucky that her movements were easy to see, she still carried great strength behind her attacks.

Case in point, the moment that she pushed Marco some meters away, even though he did simple movements, he didn't held back in the slightest, it was basically a kick a his 100% and Gnome's powers of earth, which was enough to oneshot something like a Siren.

Pirate 1: It doesn't look like there are any other Sirens around.

Pirate 2: Alright then, continue on course to the west!

And so, their voyage continued on, with no monsters bothering them in the open sea. Suspiciously, no one from the crew ate or drank for days, the only ones feeding themselves were Marco and Alice.

It took a few more days until they reached the destination.

[Days later]

It was night, and tomorrow they would reach the destination. Marco yawned and got to the deck to relax, where he found Alice.

Alice: ...I'm all fidgety for some reason.

Marco: Maybe it's because the entire crew are ghosts?

Alice: ...What?

Marco: Maybe it's because of the cold breeze…

Marco corrected himself to avoid giving an heart attack to Alice, she just shrugged and looked at the sea.

Marco: *Sigh* If the s.h.i.+p is sunk down, I'll just take back the s.h.i.+p I left at Port Natalia and go here…

Selena arrived from behind and said with a calm tone.

Selena: That won't be necessary. Everything will be clear tomorrow, meanwhile, you two should go to sleep soon. Tomorrow we will be at Selene's location.

Then Selena left, and Alice muttered…

Alice: ...Fidgety…

Marco sighed and left her alone, he got to his cabin and slept.

[Tomorrow]

Pirate 1: Boss, I see it! Right in front, it's Selene's s.h.i.+p!

Marco slowly woke up from that yell, and rubbed his eyes, then he dressed up and hurried up to the deck. In front of him there was a huge, torn sail and a half rotted hull, right on it was the crest of Captain Selene. And all over it there was a strange fog, making the scenery creepy.

Selena: Bring us up to the side!

Pirate 2: Aye sir!

The pirates brought the boat up to the side, and threw ropes over the abandoned s.h.i.+p.

Selena: It's dangerous, so we should only let a select few board the s.h.i.+p. Marco, you're coming, aren't you?

Marco: Yeah, yeah, don't twist your panties…

However, Alice stood silent, Marco looked at her before he sighed, she was scared of the ghost s.h.i.+p…

Marco: 'Let's try inverse psychology…' Alice, if you want you can stay here, you don't really need to come with us.

Alice: It seems to be a quite powerful barrier against evil… Even now, it's still effective. However, it is done to contain evil.

Selena: ...It was Captain Selene's doing, the last treasure she found was the Calamity Box, which she opened and unleashed a calamity on this world. However, she used a treasure she found by chance, the "Jewel of the Rotten World".

She used it to create a barrier to separate this s.h.i.+p from the outside world, to make sure that "it" never managed to escape to the outside…

Marco: You know a bit too much… Cap'n

Selena: I'll tell you later…

Marco saw something crawling towards us from the other side of the corridor, behind Selena, and he pointed a finger to it before a small flame ball was created and thrown at it. The fireball grazed Selena's shoulder and hit the monster behind Selena.

Alice and Selena quickly left the area, and left Marco with a monster, the monster looked like a giant dark pink starfish with white insides, at the center of the starfish, there was a naked woman that had grey tentacles instead of hair.

Marco looked better at her and noticed that her stomach had a burnt spot, from his little fireball. He didn't used a stronger attack because he didn't want to destroy the s.h.i.+p.

Starfish Girl: You little twerp… Tch… It hurts.

She was holding her burnt part while glaring at Marco. Meanwhile he walked towards her, and entered the Chakra Gate, when he was near enough, he threw a roundhouse kick at her, but she managed to grab his leg.

Marco used her hold on him at his advantage and twisted his body in air, giving another kick at her face.

Her nose started leaking magical power, and she released Marco while backing away and holding her nose.

Starfish: f.u.c.k!

Marco stood up and stepped forward while bringing his hand upwards, and enlarge it, after doing that, he brought it down at her, smas.h.i.+ng her flat.

She looked what Marco was doing, however she was too late to dodge when she realized what he wanted to do, so she brought her arms forward and blocked the hit, at the cost of falling down of one floor and a broken arm.

Marco's giant claw turned to its original size and he jumped into the hole on the deck, continuing the fight with the Starfish Girl.
