I've been worried about the clan lately. They are too arrogant. The tension from the Kyuubi attack a few years ago has been getting worse, and the clan's arrogance isn't really helping our case much.

I've been training more than usual these days. I need to be strong enough to protect Sasuke and my family.

Today was the same. I was training in my usual place when I heard someone shout at me.

"YO! Itachi!"

CLANG!

*SHAA*

c.r.a.p! My hand slipped.

"OI! WHERE D'YA THINK YER AIMIN', DINGUS?!?!"

I froze. How is such a dainty girl capable of such language?

After a few seconds, I snapped out of it and raised my guard like any well-trained s.h.i.+n.o.bi would.

I asked suspiciously, "Who are you?"

She paused and replied, "...Call me Yui. There's not much time left, so lemme explain everything from the beginning."

I glanced at her warily. She doesn't seem strong, but I feel a certain pressure from her. It's just a gut feeling, but my instincts have saved my life in the past. I opened my three-tomoe Sharingan, just in case. Opening my mangekyou would probably be overkill, so I kept it hidden.

I sat down on the ground and the girl sat across from me. She's either stupid, fearless, or is trying to show me her sincerity, staring me straight in the Sharingan like that.

I didn't feel any hostility from her, so I lowered my guard just a little.

I asked, "So, what is it that you need to speak with me about?"

She started to speak in a low voice, "So it's like this..."

...Why did she stop? Her eyes look a bit absent... maybe she needs to think for a minute. I didn't show her any weakness though, so it's not likely that she'll attack.

I was right. After a few moments, she looked up and kept talking.

"Sorry for zoning out. Anyway, it's like this. Your clan is in trouble, and I want to help. If you don't want me to, I'll stand up and leave, but keep in mind that I know about the tragedy that will happen soon. I can, and will help if you allow me to."

What she said shocked me. Of course, I couldn't completely believe it without evidence, but it's a chance worth taking for my clan.

I steeled my resolve and turned off my Sharingan.

"I'm listening..."

Just as I started to speak, I got a notification from Sa.s.snugget.

'DING! Hidden mission requirements met. Mission content: Convince [Itachi Uchiha], using Talk no Jutsu, to accept your help in saving the Uchiha Clan. Time limit: 12 hours. Rewards: Pure Uchiha Bloodline, Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, [Itachi Uchiha]'s trust, +500 EXP, +5000 CP.'

I mentally grinned to myself. I've hit the jackpot! Now then... serpent-monkey-bird-rat... Talk no Jutsu!

He seemed rather shocked. Looks like he's trying to process what I said. Well, he probably won't believe me anyway. He'll probably ask for evidence or something.

Suddenly, Itachi clenched his fists and said, "I'm listening..."

...Ehhh? Wasn't that a bit too easy...? I'm not hearing any notifications though. Looks like he doesn't trust me enough yet.

I took a deep breath. *inhale... exhale* Slowly, slowly. I put up the most advanced Fūinjutsu barrier I currently know of. Itachi flinched, but didn't do anything.

"Itachi Uchiha, listen well. I am called Xin Yue. I once lived in a different world, where there is no chakra, no Kekkei Genkai, and no s.h.i.+n.o.bi. At least not that the public knows about. Everything in this world was a fantasy to me, before I actually came here. This world we are in now, commonly known as 'Naruto World' where I'm from... its future already happened in my world. I watched the entire naruto world's future happen right before my eyes, all the way up to the seventh hokage's son. I won't tell you most of it, but I will explain your clan's fate. Everything that I tell you will happen, whether you believe it or not. That is, unless you change it."

His eyes, tho. Too wide. Calm down, Itachi, before you start hyperventilating. Well, he probably didn't believe that either.

"What? What will happen?! I need to save them!!!"

...Deja vu. That's definitely happened before. Why does he believe me so easily?

"Itachi, calm down. I'll tell you all about it. Just try not to get too worked up," I said seriously.

He calmed down a bit and nodded.

"Your best friend, s.h.i.+sui Uchiha, will bring up a plan to help the Uchiha clan by putting some of the elders into a genjutsu called Kotoamatsukami. The leader of ROOT, Danzo s.h.i.+mura will ambush s.h.i.+sui before he has the chance to use it and steal one of his eyes. s.h.i.+sui will jump off a cliff to his death after entrusting you with his other eye and the clan. Instead, you will be manipulated by someone and end up killing your entire clan... all except your little brother Sasuke. This will go down in history as the Uchiha Clan Ma.s.sacre. You with me so far?"

By now, Itachi was s.h.i.+vering. His face was pale and his eyes were flickering between Sharingan and Mangekyou.

Sh*t, don't tell me he's gone off the deep end already?

"Itachi?"

"NO! It can't happen! I'd NEVER kill my own clan!!!"

I sighed. Figures.

"No, Itachi. I know you're not that kind of person. But I saw it all happen. Here I am, trying to keep it from happening, and you're acting like it's a future set in stone! Get a f*cking grip!!!"

Heh, so he finally realized it and stopped shaking.

I continued, "If, and I mean IF, the Uchiha ma.s.sacre happens, Sasuke will grow up to hate you and will take the path of revenge. He will isolate himself and devote his entire life to killing you. And eventually, you will die by his hand. But if you can stop the ma.s.sacre so that it doesn't happen, there will be a different future. I don't know what it will be, but it is better than the alternative, which is allowing the current future to happen."

He took a deep breath and asked solemnly, "What is your plan?"

I grinned. "My plan is simple. We can't change the future so much that some important events don't happen, but at the very least, you will not have to kill anyone close to you. At least not in real life."

Itachi's eyes widened. "You mean...?"

"You'll need to use a genjutsu on your brother Sasuke, so that he thinks that you killed the clan. Of course, I will amplify it so that the whole village except for the Uchiha clan believes it really happened."

Surprisingly, he stayed calm this time. "Doesn't that defeat the purpose, though?"

I shook my head, "No, because if Sasuke never witnesses his clan's death, he'll never become strong enough. If the village doesn't know about the ma.s.sacre, everyone will act normal and Sasuke will suspect something being off about the situation. The Uchiha clan will need to go into hiding, but it will be of great importance in the long run for Sasuke to grow. Oh, and it might even allow him to unlock his Sharingan a bit earlier."

Itachi sighed and asked, "Why? Why can't I just save them without using genjutsu?"

"Because your little brother is very important in this world's future. If things don't happen this way, he might die an early death, and the story that I know might be twisted into a mess and end in tragedy for the whole world. Not just the Uchiha clan. Got it?"

He thought about for a while. I mean like two f*cking hours straight. I thought this guy was a genius? Why is he thinking at a snail's pace then?! Haaah?!

D*mn, my legs are numb. My feet are already asleep. HURRY UP, DINGUS!!! I only got a few more minutes before my NERVES EXPLODE AND I PULL MY OWN HAIR OUT!!!

"I got it. I'll do it. But you have to promise to watch over Sasuke for me."

AHHHH! FINALLY!!

"Good. I promise you, I will watch over Duc— I mean, Sasuke until he's ready to come back to the clan!"

'DING! Congratulations, my queen! Hidden mission complete! Rewards have been added to status/inventory.'

That made my day. I'm gon-na have a Sharingan~ !I'm gon-na have a Sharingan~~ !

After setting up a time for s.h.i.+sui and Itachi to meet up with me to go over the plan again, I took down the barrier and left. I was as cautious as possible, checking for stalkers and enemies left, right, and upside down. I safely made it back to my dummy barrier and dissolved it before shapes.h.i.+fting into my real form. Then I rushed back to Kakas.h.i.+'s house.

I was met... with quite... quite the surprise... on the way— pffft! HAHAHAHAHAHA! THIS IS PERFECT!

'Oi! Sa.s.snugget! Buy me a modern camera from the system store!! I'm gonna need it...'

I grinned evilly and flipped out a newly bought system camera.

*CLICK CLICK*

AHAHAHAHA! FEAR ME NII-SAN!! I NOW HAVE ENOUGH MATERIAL TO BLACKMAIL YOU WITH FOR A LIFETIIIIIME!!!

'That's what ya get for teasing a little angel like me...' *smirks*

I dragged the sack of potatoes on the ground back to the house and launched it through the window.

*CRASH*

Ouch... maybe I went a little too far...

Back in my room, I summoned Akayuki and asked her a single question.

"What did you do to Kakas.h.i.+?"

Akayuki s.h.i.+vered and telepathically said, 'Forgive me, my queen. I have put him into a genjutsu that only I can break. When he heard my voice, that's when it began. Please punish me, my queen.'

I crossed my arms and thought for a minute.

"Hmmm... nope. It actually worked in my favor today. You helped me out, so there's no need for punishment. Although, I do feel bad for the guy. Maybe I should wake him up..."

After thinking for not more than another second, I made up my mind.

"... yeah. Let's wake him up... tomorrow."

'Sa.s.snugget! Integrate Pure Uchiha Bloodline and EMS!'

'DING! Affirmative! Integrating Pure Uchiha Bloodline... 1%.. 2%.. 4%...'

'DING! Success! Integrating Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan... 1%.. 2%.. 4%...'

'DING! Success!'

I opened my eyes after Sa.s.snugget confirmed the successful integration.

Hmm... too many big words. I don't like it.

After activating my EMS, I could see much clearer and further.

...D*mn. I'm speechless...

I got Kamui, Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, Susanoo, even Kotoamatsukami. The only thing I don't have is time-related EMS abilities.

...I am one h.e.l.l of a butl— ptui, not right! I am one h.e.l.l of a broken MC.

Ahh~ just wait 'til Kakas.h.i.+ wakes up. I can't wait to show him those photos. Oh, right! I gotta go check on Naruto before the academy starts. Duck*ss, too. I have a whole ton o' stuff to do, eh? So busy~ Meh, it's fun though.

As an otaku back on Earth, I never really had much to do except for follow the lives of anime characters and xianxia novel heroes. And it did get boring after a while. Ever since I died, which was like... yesterday, I've been constantly busy. Maybe this is what I wanted... to escape boredom as well as the prison known as my own self.

Ahh~ but enough mushy mushy sh*t. Time to sleeeeeep...

"Any news on that fox?"

"Hai, Danzo-sama. The fox has been spotted in town, shrunk down and posing as a scarf on a young girl's neck. While they were trying to count the number of tails, the fox spoke in human language. Everyone that heard its voice pa.s.sed out, and have yet to awaken."

Danzo turned away and gritted his teeth. "Dismissed."
