Modesty smiled.

"So you two were roommates?"

Father Su nodded his head.

"We did everything together, he accepted me as I was. To him, it didn't matter if I was a foreigner, or had money, or could barely speak English. He was great and when he started dating your mother, he didn't forget me, we still hung tight. Your father was a wild one and your mother calmed him down."

Modesty's eyes went wide, she couldn't see her calm, and collect father being wild.

"Yes, we played pranks, got drunk, chased women. That is until he met your mother and then she made him slow down which in turn made me slow down. We completed our studies and went our separate ways, but we kept in touch. We spoke two to three times a week. If I had any question about business and vice versa."

Father Su stopped speaking long enough for the maid to serve some more drinks. Modesty looked over to mother Su who was grinning from ear to ear and she couldn't understand why. She was just lying her head on JinJin's shoulder. His parents already knew that they were dating.

"You and your parents have been coming here off and on since before you were born. They were at our wedding."

Father Su touched mother Su's hand.

"They were at Su Jin Wei's birth, then you were Christened here instead of in your country. We even pre-arranged yours and Su Jin Wei's marriage."

Modesty's mouth dropped open and she looked between them and Su Jin Wei.

"We were engaged when we were younger and you didn't tell me."
