"Yes, but I have fleeting memories of Su Jin Wei and her."

Modesty pointed to Su Jin Wei's grandmother.

"Mother she remembers you,"

Su Jin Wei's mother said smiling through tears streaming down her face.

"Hurry child tell us what you remember."

Father Su said Modesty was a little nervous until Su Jin Wei began to rub her hand.

"Well, Auntie and Uncle."

Su Jin Wei's mother lit up when she said that, so she figured she said the right thing.

"I remember Su Jin Wei giving me my hair clip but I couldn't remember his face. I remember grandmother Su putting a cold cloth on my head and singing to me."

Grandmother Su smiled and nodded tears forming in her eyes.

"You ran outside in the rain to help Su Jin Wei because he was hurt. You saved him and caught a terrible cold with a very high fever in the process. Your parents and had gone back to country A to take care of some business with the company. You were staying with us, so I sat by your bedside all night feeding you medicine and caring for you."

Modesty nodded smiling she was about to ask more questions when the doctor came in ushering them out so that his patient could get some rest.

Before Modesty and Su Jin Wei left, they made her promise to come back and visit them. Modesty promised and walked out but Su Jin Wei's grandfather called him back. Su Jin Wei had Song Lei escort Modesty back to the car and wait for him.

"How did you find her?" Old master Su inquired.

"She b.u.mped into me. I knew it was her. But, had to be sure."

Old master Su nodded,

"Does she know that you two are engaged? Does she remember what happened to her parents? Has she come back to avenge them? Does she remember that we didn't want to let her go per her parent's requests? Does she remember that her Uncle and Aunt s.n.a.t.c.hed her from us?"

Su Jin Wei held up his hand to stop the bombardment of questions from his parents and grandparents.

"She only remembers snippets, nothing else. She has questions about her parents' accident so she came here to find out everything."

Everyone digested this piece of information, they weren't happy that Modesty's aunt and uncle didn't tell her that her parents were actually murdered. It had taken almost the full eight years for Su Jin Wei to find the person responsible for taking away his fiancee. Now that she was back he was going to not only deal with the people who caused the murders of her parents but make sure Modesty remembered their love for each other.
