Kakashi and Sasuke faced each other.

Kakashi pulled out a small piece of paper from his pocket.

"What is that?" Sasuke asked.

"This is called a chakra paper."

"Now, before I explain about this paper, there are some things you need to know."

"I am sure you know that most people's chakra leans toward a certain element."

"For example, the Uchiha were geared towards the fire. Thus they were exceptionally skilled in fire element techniques."

Sasuke thought back to how he had learned his fire technique from his dad.

"You possess the fire element through your bloodline."

"But typically people from your clan do possess more than one element."

"Hence, the paper," Kakashi concluded as he brought the paper forward.

Sasuke walked towards Kakashi and collected the paper.

"So, I take it that I have to pass my chakra through the paper," Sasuke asked.

"Sasuke!"

"If you were to do that, the paper will burn up and become ashes," Kakashi replied, which caused Sasuke to frown a bit.

"Sasuke!"

"Visualize yourself having a different type of chakra, just try to visualize something along the lines of Earth, Water, Thunder or Wind," Kakashi said.

"And how will this paper react to the chakra?" Sasuke asked.

"If you're lightning-natured, the paper will wrinkle."

"It'll tear in half for Wind."

"Get soggy if you're Water."

"Crumble if you're Earth."

"And as I have mentioned before, it will burn if you're Fire."

"It's a unique paper that reacts to even the slightest amount of chakra."

"The paper is made from special trees fed and nurtured with chakra" Kakashi concluded.

"Hm," Sasuke nodded as he concentrated.

("Earth, Water, Wind, Lightning") Sasuke recited in his mind as he thought of the elemental form of each of these words.

Sasuke injected a slight amount of chakra.

(Crk!) The paper became wrinkled.

("As I suspected, He's the same as me.")

"Okay!"

"You're a lightning type!"

"Sasuke!" Kakashi announced.

Sasuke became happy at this moment.

He finally felt he had taken his first step to being powerful.
