Ariana didn't say anything in response and a sigh Lobo walked towards the exit and squeezed out. "I'll let you know when you can come out." Lobo called into the tunnel before das.h.i.+ng off. 'You two seem very close.' Mirela said with smirk. "Only because I have the garnet dragon blood in me. If I didn't, he wouldn't spare a second thought on me." Ariana replied courtly. 'Are you upset about it?' Mirela asked. Ariana shook her head no. "I have my heart set on someone and I hope I get to see him soon." Ariana said with a bittersweet tone before she gave Mirela a sad smile.

Mirela just looked up at Ariana, unsure of what to say. "Mirela you don't have to give me that look. It's alright our love is mutual. I am just waiting for him to return to my side." Ariana said as she brought up her other hand and gently nudged Mirela's face, trying to get her to smile. 'I'm sorry that all this happened.' Mirela said as she caught Ariana's index finger from the hand that gently nudged her face. "Your grandfather was never going to answer my questions was he?" Ariana asked softly, shocking Mirela.

'... Ariana... I think-' Mirela started to say but her voice was drowned out by Lobo's shouts. "Hey! It's safe to come out!" Mirela's face darkened as she swallowed back what she wanted to say. 'I'll make the exit bigger so you can walk out.' Mirela said as she she started to move her wings. Mirela flew towards the exit and quickly opened opening wide enough for Ariana to walk through. 

"Ariana is that really you?" Mr. Dabney called out. Ariana looked up and saw that Mr. Dabney was looking at her with a face full of concern as he stood by the entry way. "Ya..." She answered weakly. "Come inside." Mr. Dabney said as he moved aside. Ariana smiled softly as she walked forward.

"This is fascinating." Mrs. Dabney said in awe. She was looking over Ariana with a magnifying gla.s.s, eyes sparkling with excitement and wonder. "And you were worried that they would be scared of you." Lobo said with a small chuckle as he poked Brie's squishy cheek. She was soundlessly sleeping in her ba.s.sinet. 

"How could you think something like that?! I mean look at you! You're beautiful! Well you were beautiful before but now you're beautiful! Look! Look at your skin! As far as I can tell your skin is literally tiny, garnet dust particles compacted to form a skin like layer or I guess armour? And this is your own blood but Mirela said you should be able to control it? That is amazing! I can't believe this! Are all your father's people like this? I'm sorry. I know you wouldn't know but just in case would you? I just can't believe this structure, especially the wings! In theory you could alter the molecular structure of the wings and use them as a weapon or s.h.i.+eld! What is you blood like? Do you think it carries tiny particles and isn't like everyone elses? What is the DNA structure? Oh I wonder if it has its own magnetic properties or can it be combined with other materials to make something new?! What about new antidotes or toxins?!" Mrs. Dabney shouted as she giggled excitedly to herself. 

'So that's why I feel so happy in your hands! To be so close to a pure gem stone is a great luxury for us.' Mirela said with a delighted face. Ariana couldn't utter a single word and just let out a small, forced laugh as she broke out into a cold sweat. DNA? Magnetic force? Antidotes? Toxins? This was too much for her and went right over her head.

"Honey I think you've examined Ariana enough. She said she had things to tell us." Mr. Dabney said as he looked at his wife. "Pascal I just want five more minutes." Mrs. Dabney whined as she looked at her husband with puppy dog eyes. "No." Mr. Dabney said flatly. "You said that five minutes ago and I know how your mind works. Soon you'll ask for samples then lock yourself in your lab downstairs." 

Ariana's hair stood on end when she heard Mr. Dabney's words. She looked at Mrs. Dabney with a horror filled face and tears already br.i.m.m.i.n.g at the bottom of her eyes. She didn't like people drawing her blood even in her last life she hated seeing doctors but to ask for a sample. What sample would Mrs Dabney asked for? Mrs

 Dabney looked at Ariana and read her mind. With a sad face she put down the magnifying gla.s.s. "I won't force you to do anything." Mrs. Dabney said sadly as she peeked at Ariana from under her eyelashes. "Thank you." Ariana said as she calmed down considerably. "So tell us. What did the Elder say." Lobo said as he moved away from Brie and focused on Ariana. 

"So it's like this...."

"This is bad." Mrs. Dabney said as she crossed her arms across her chest and furrowed her brows. The action reminded Ariana of someone she forgot completely. "Gregory! Gregory needs to know too. Lobo can you please tell him and let him know that I am here too. I don't think it's a good idea that I leave, not until I change back." Ariana said pathetically causing Lobo to sigh. "Fine but I will be right back." Lobo replied as he started to walk towards the front door. "Mirela can I ask that you tell me Lumas where I am, please?" Ariana asked.
