313 Somewhere, Trapped In Time: Meeting You, Again

But this troubles Quinn, he badly wanted to fly to Brazil and save Lady Isabella by himself. He has to make sure of her safety because he needed her to bring Ca.s.sie back to this time. Quinn heaves a furious sighed. He does wonder if what things Ca.s.sandra did in the time she was now.

Quinn places his palm on the balcony's railing cap.  He clenches his knuckle. He wanted to see her sooner because he is afraid. Afraid to let go of the present Ca.s.sandra they with now, he ached to see the real Ca.s.sandra. The one that truly existed in his lifetime.

'Where are you? Please, come back!' his silent prayer.

Quinn is kneeling in one foot while his hands gripping tightly to the cold railings. 'Ca.s.sandra…' he began sobbing. But it surprised him when someone was hugging him behind.

This perfume. He bought it on the day she's gone. They were also shopping that day, and this is the perfume he breathes when they b.u.mped into each other at the airport. And the same perfume she wears on their first date, on her seventeenth birthday... as well the same perfume when they meet at the hospital months ago here in Paris.

By this, did trigger his emotion a lot more. He can't stop sobbing as he remembered Ca.s.sandra. Quinn stood on his feet and pulled up the Ca.s.sandra he's with right now. He throws his arms around her and holds her tight. He could feel a soft hand patting his back while he continues crying. She might wonder why he is wailing like this, but he misses the real one. And he felt so wrong to take the one right here as her replacement and presume that she's never gone.

"I am here," she whispered.

With this, his heart throbbed and tears won't stop falling from his eyes but held her tightened his embrace.

"Quinn!" Ca.s.sandra suddenly sat up from her bed. She dreams of him! She saw him! And he is crying. Why is Quinn crying? But she felt like she was embracing him for real. So she told him 'I am here'.

"Shut up! So early in the morning!" Mimie complains and throws a hairbrush at her.

Gladly, she has no strength so the hairbrush just landed on the floor before it reached her bed. Mimie pulled her comforter and cover herself and sleep back. Ca.s.sie glances at the bedside clock and it is five in the morning. She can't decide if she goes back to sleep or began cleaning the house.

She makes their breakfast first before he cleans the house. It was the six-thirty in the morning when Martin arrived home. He was shocked seeing her doing the ch.o.r.es.

"Lydia!" he shouted.

Running down the stairs, looks it startled Lydia on her sleep hearing Martin's loud voice.

"Why did you let Ca.s.sie do house ch.o.r.es?" Martin keeps yelling.

"I— um, sweetheart. I did not know she already awake and start doing the ch.o.r.es." Lydia's excuses.

Martin is glaring at Lydia and Mimie, who was now standing at the last steps of the stairs. "And why is she still wearing the same clothes? I left more cash to shop for her new clothes!"

"I—" Lydia bit her lower lip. She cannot make another excuse at Martin. "I'm sorry, sweetheart! There is something happen and I need the cash to pay by credit card! Don't worry, it was two days away and my paycheck arrives, I will bring her to—"

"Forget it! But remember this, I don't want it to happen again!" Martin threatened the mother and daughter. "Ca.s.sie, get dress, will go shopping for your new clothes. It will often rain soon."

"Um, Uncle. I volunteered to do them," she explained.

"But you are not well. Don't forget what Doctor Carol told you. Go ahead now. I'll be waiting. And since you already make breakfast, I'll eat first," Martin said.

Ca.s.sie went with the flow and let Martin brought her to the stores in downtown. Driving in this street, Ca.s.sie could recognize this part of Paris. It was Larry and Loura's household and academy. She was looking outside the window when they pa.s.sed by a building. It was Larry and Loura's household and academies: Bastien Culinary Art and Bennett's Language School.

That's right, they live nearby! Could it be possible that a Quinn was here also?

No. Why is she thinking about it? It is impossible, that Quinn was here although she may be like trapped in this dream, but what chances that a Quinn was here as well? Ca.s.sie thought.

Her heart throbbed. How if?

NO. Ca.s.sie shook her head. It is impossible.

"We'll park our car here, then walk the rest of the places," Martin said.

Ca.s.sie gets back to her senses and blankly stare at Martin. She did not hear what he says, but she nodded. Martin steps out of the car, so she follows. Martin brought her into different stores, and she enjoyed shopping with her uncle.

Ca.s.sie misses her Papa. He is silly these pa.s.sing months from being too strict to Quinn, but no one could compare to her Papa. He is the best father she cannot ask for another.

Tears threaten to flee from her eyes and Martin notices it. He patted her head, and he smiled warmly. The least, her Uncle Martin in this dream is the same from her reality. She feels fine.

"Let's go to a café I know, their lattes are the best."

"Okay, Uncle," she smiled. Maybe it wasn't so bad at all.

Martin brought here to the coffee shop he told her. They seated at a table near the window. Ca.s.sie looking outside the café's window when she saw a familiar figure. Her eyes widened and her mouth dropped open.

The guy is wearing a coat and tie. He looks stressed and worn out. His eyes are lonely and there's no life it seems. He was talking over his phone and his expression is completely a lonely Quinn.

Tears freely trailing down her cheeks upon having sight of him. Her heart cries of his name.

'Quinn…'
