After she had ordered their snacks, she seated herself at a corner of the café. Koby hasn't come back yet, so she started to munch on her Mediterranean veg panini. She was lost in her presumptions when out of the blue, someone who clearly knew her showed up.

Zoe looked up and narrowed her eyes at the two people in front of her. The guy was smiling from ear to ear at her while extending his hand. On the other hand, the woman was rolling her eyes at her with her crossed arms.

She couldn't remember them. She raised her eyebrow and twitched her lip upward to form a forced smile. "Yes?" She asked him politely.

"I can't believe it! Look at you!" He exclaimed and glanced at her from head to toe."You're more stunning than ever!"

He sat down on the seat opposite Zoe and asked the girl to seat herself beside him. She continued to stand up and not move an inch. She even glared at Zoe.

As soon as she saw her glowering look, it finally dawned on her who she was. She looked at the man on the table again. He was flas.h.i.+ng his bright teeth at her with those cheery eyes.

'Could it be…' She muttered as she clenched her jaws and curled up her fist into a ball under the table.

She studied the woman again. From where she was sitting, she could see that she was a tall woman at the same age as her with long blond hair.

Her face was fully made up. Her eyebrows were in a precise arch. Her lashes curved skyward in thick mascara and her lips puckered up in bright red lipstick.

She was also wearing a very revealing outfit. Her striped tube cropped top and black s.e.xy shorts exposed her curvy figure. Her natural tall length was amped up with her five inches high wedge sandals.

Anyone would mistake her for a hot fas.h.i.+on model. But Zoe knew what kind of wicked witch was hiding in that beauteous facade.

Zoe raised one of her eyebrows and glanced at the man who was staring in admiration at her. How could she forget? He was their basketball star during that time. The heartthrob of the whole school. The guy that every high school girl is dying to be with.

She stared at his changed appearance. Before, he looked so naive with his messy bowl-cut hair and simple demeanor. Now he was wearing a brown blonde shade of hair and sporting a celebrity-like outfit.

'It seemed my revenge time was earlier than expected,' Zoe whispered under her breath. Flashes of her memories came back from their schooldays.

"Enzo?" She faked a surprise as she crossed her shapely leg and leaned forward.

"Yeah! I thought you didn't recognize me anymore. Well, I completely understand," he exclaimed. He pinched his nose and fixed the collar of his short-sleeved polo s.h.i.+rt.

"You're right. I thought you're Nam Joo-Hyuk in the fles.h.!.+ I'm honored," She blurted out as she stood up and bowed to him. She extended her dainty hand to shake his, with her sweetest smile.

"That's too much!" Enzo blushed and was about to grasp it when the lady beside her grabbed her hand instead.

"Hi, Zoe!" She greeted her with a fraud enthusiastic tone.

Zoe quickly removed her hand from hers like a scalded kitten in a subtle way. "I'm sorry, you are?" She asked with furrowed eyebrows.

She wondered how she would introduce herself. After fifteen long years! Her childhood companion? Her mortal enemy? Her traitor friend?

"We talked on the phone a while ago," She demurely acted in front of Enzo. But she secretly looked daggers at Zoe behind his back.

Zoe cupped her lovely mouth in a fake surprise. "Savannah? Is that you? I didn't recognize you. You look… How do you put it? Matured?"

Savannah's eyes widened at her unexpected response. She was being nice to Zoe. And she was used to Zoe acting politely all the time. She gritted her teeth and gave her a death stare.

"Uh-oh," Enzo chuckled. Seeing how embarra.s.sed Savannah is, Zoe apologized and bowed her head, in fake concern.

"I'm sorry. I honestly did my best to think of the right way to put it. But maybe I just couldn't because I must be really famished." She grinned at both of them."Have you taken your orders? Come and join us." She invited them to the seat on the table.

"No, thanks," Savannah replied like a bat from h.e.l.l. "We had it as a takeaway. Come on Enzo, I think our order is already ready." She exclaimed in an affectionate manner and enveloped her arm around his.

'Still as rude as ever,' Zoe thought to herself without batting an eyelash at her and removing her fake smile.

"Okay, okay." Enzo removed his arm from Savannah's grasp and walked away with her.

"I can't wait to see you again tomorrow, Zoe." He swiveled to wave goodbye at her. Savannah gaped at her and gave her a death stare.

"Me too!" Zoe beamed and waved back at them.
