[Us.h.i.+nawareta hos.h.i.+] ( lit. translation: lost star)

This is a BL game which is currently popular in my old world. The game tells the story of Ca.s.s Bedivere who was born with so little abilities, he brings shame to his household. His father cold, his mother pretends like he’s not there, his brother does not see any worth in him, making him feel like he’s a worthless human being which leads him to have to console himself and would often take things head on with such a strong smile. That smile is what made twelve men including his own elder brother fall in love with him.

For the game’s details, I knew them from my younger sister…obviously, I have never thought of playing a BL game. Apart from not being able to read j.a.panese, I am still a man who just has a fujos.h.i.+-loving lil’ sis.

There are four versions of the game in total ( the latest one being the addition of the 3P route, dammit! ) In addition to 6 anime seasons, the game has mangas, light novels, art books, etc.. All these released merchandise sucked all cult members like my younger sister dry, and for me, I get to listen to her about the game everyday. When she saw I had no reaction, she dragged me to watch the entirety of 6 seasons of the anime with her..So, even if I have not played the game but from the anime…I know bits and pieces of the main routes! Now…I, who was reborn as Gilbert, the incest route’s owner,  would like to vomit blood. The only good thing right now is that, Ca.s.s Bedivere ( my to-be younger brother whom I’m s.h.i.+pped with in the 3P ) hasn’t been born yet or else if he were to already be born and I have just discovered the truth, I don’t know how I’ll be able to look him in the eyes.

I rubbed my head and looked at myself in the mirror. Even if I may appear scruffy but with my golden hair, golden eyes and this face structure…I think I can grow up to be attractive! This is Gilbert Bedivere, the protagonist’s elder brother’s face after all!

I took a deep breath…first, I need to calm down! I’m in a BL game, so what? Mentally, I am still myself who doesn’t give a d.a.m.n about all the yaoi stuff my psychotic fujos.h.i.+ sister chants to me everyday! Got to say, the hardest thing to deal with in life was my psychotic fujos.h.i.+ sister, just living in a BL world is nothing! If I can stand my younger sister and remain straight, just living in a BL world…I’ll protect my s.e.xuality and find a girlfriend! With Gilbert Bedivere’s face, if I can’t even find a girlfriend, then who can!

Once I’ve regained my senses along with my s.e.xuality, I began to calm down. What I need to do right now is to think about my relations.h.i.+ps. Starting from Ca.s.s, the protagonist, he’ll be born this year. If I don’t want the game’s plot to start, I’ll need to do whatever I can to prevent my mother from getting pregnant! W…well I kinda want a younger brother…or should I just leave it… Let’s skip him and focus on Nigel and Haref.

My younger sister would always tell me “Nigel and Gil are always together!”, in other words they’re s.h.i.+pped together but when the developers released the 3P route, I don’t know what to think anymore. Even if I may not be that close to them now, it’s not like I can avoid meeting them. According to the game’s plot, at the age of 15, everyone will be sent to the School of wizardry or something. When the last year comes round, Ca.s.s Bedivere will be enrolled into the school, this is when the plot will take its course.

Frankly, I’m rather confident in my masculinity so, why should I fear the 3P route or the incest route anyways? I’m just being cautious. When I was young, I didn’t think I would be able to accept BL until I helped my younger sister with her 18+ doujins.h.i.+ and what were the results? That psychotic fujos.h.i.+ lil’ sis begged me again and again to help her meet all of her deadlines…I have gained experience from my younger sister and will not fall for the same tricks again! I will live my life cautiously!

What I’m sure of now is the fact that I should avoid Nigel and Ca.s.s ( who’s not born yet ) I  don’t think there’ll be any problems. As for Nigel, I did tell him not to meet me ever again, it’ll probably end well for both sides…right? Even if it didn’t, he wouldn’t dare to face me, that’s even better since the 3P route would become impossible! So now, the only worry I’ve got is a single person…Ca.s.s Bedivere. If mother’s not pregnant now then…

The deafening sounds which came from the door made me jump. As I looked at the door, shouts and violent knocks could be heard…is that Haref Lancelot’s voice? The number one ruler of popularity ranking in the game, what are you doing in front of my room? I raised my eyebrow in surprise while my ears could hear the ruckus of the SM route’s owner, who is knocking rapidly, the volume and speed of the knocks are seemingly increasing. Sometimes I think he’s got too good a stamina and also, I don’t want to move rooms just because of a hole in my door. Hmmm…I should probably let him in. Once I mentally prepared myself, I climbed down from my bed, just when I was about to walk towards my door, it seemed like the door “flew” right past me with a loud thump. I slowly turned to the door before steadily turning to face Haref Lancelot, who’s standing with…a lifted foot. Ummm…I swear this is beyond what an average should be capable of…Would Duck Lancelot mind if I inquired, what the h.e.l.l do you feed your 6 years old child to make him able to send the door flying!? Ca.s.s Bedivere who’s not born yet, if you were to choose Haref’s route, whatever you do, don’t cheat on him or anger him in anyways! At 6 he could send a door flying, at 22…I…I don’t want to imagine…At this point, I’ve stared to feel sorry for Ca.s.s Bedivere.

“Gilbert Bedivere!”

But right now, I should feel sorry for myself…

I faintly smiled at Haref, whose face started to twitch. Please don’t become angry, my body is way more fragile than the door you’ve just knocked down! “Would you like to come in?” He huffed before making way for a good looking child, who’s rubbing his eyes, his big eyes stared at me silently before opening his mouth…it seemed like he was near tears but he’s trying his best to hold them back…

“Gil…” ugh…cute enough to kill. Dear lil’ sis who doesn’t exist in this world, why is it that even though you’re a girl, you’re not even half as cute as Nigel!? You’re saddening all the members of the lil’ sis society out there! You’re making me hold a lil’ bro’s value above a lil’ sis!

“Gil…are you angry at me?” he sobbed. “Gil…I…did I do something wrong?” Gotta tell you, at this moment I want to hug him tight…dear lil’ sis who’s not in this world, why are you not this cute!! If you were to be this cute, even if you made me draw 18+ doujins.h.i.+ or play games for research purposes, your big bro would be willing to do it!!

Haref glared at me aggressively…when I look down at his foot…I’m seriously scared. I stood still for a while before deciding to hug Nigel and pat his head gently. I could hear him mumbling “Gil…what did I do wrong?”

“I-I’m not angry at you Nigel” I smiled at him and softly rocked him in my embrace. Nigel’s body is more or less the same size as mine, I’m only able to do this because he’s allowing me to. “It’s just…I’m confused.” Those argent eyes stared at me innocently…good bye lil’ sis, from now on I will not miss you anymore. “I’m sorry I can’t tell you…” cause I’m sure if I told you, I’ll either be kicked from my household into a mental hospital somewhere or exiled. “I’m sorry…I made you cry.”

Nigel shook his head before hugging me tightly. He placed his head on my shoulder and said “I-I don’t have many friends, I’ve only got Haref and Gil…”

“T-to me, Haref and Gil are very important…”

“So…please…”

“Please don’t avoid me…don’t abandon me, please…

This child who’s scared of girls…he’s even scared to hug his own mother… This child who’s born into a highly regarded household…but how many people have close relations.h.i.+ps with him. I sighed before looking at Nigel, who’s latched onto my shoulder, I glanced at Haref who made a throat slitting action…yeah…let’s just look at Nigel.

I want to avoid them, I don’t want to face the 3P route, but what can I do? Should I fix this problem by finding myself a cute girlfriend? If I could find one, at least I’m sure me, myself and I would not go down the BL route…

“Gil…you’re like an elder brother to me…” Nigel looked up at me before uttering “so…if you’re not content with any of my actions, please tell me, please don’t abandon me, please don’t tell me we won’t meet ever again…elder brother” ( TN: sub onii-chan in for cuteness overload )
