Jiang Lius.h.i.+ glanced at the zombie's corpse and took a deep breath . Then, he looked at his b.l.o.o.d.y fists . Although they were still bleeding and throbbing from pain, he was exhilarated – his new power had not let him down .

Comparing the zombie to Tsukuyomi, the former was inferior . Even so, its battle prowess in no way could be underestimated . Therefore, Jiang Lius.h.i.+ was satisfied with his performance . He believed his power and other aces were enough to let him fight against Genesis' Chancellor on equal terms .

"Brother Jiang, you were so cool!" shouted Xiang Xuehai excitedly, while rus.h.i.+ng to his side to hold his hands . Li Yuxin followed behind to treat Jiang Lius.h.i.+'s wounds .

"This can wait . " Jiang Lius.h.i.+ waved his hands and then walked toward Angelica . "Where is Shen Kui?" he asked

"He is a yard behind the manor," replied Angelica, still looking at Jiang Lius.h.i.+ in surprise . The battle's outcome was completely beyond her expectations . Meanwhile, she wondered what the blue light was, as well as why and how such potent energy was stored in it .

"He is in the back, but he-" Before Angelica had the chance to elaborate, Jiang Lius.h.i.+ ignored her and walked past her .

The Black Rubik's Cube was in Shen Kui's hands, so Jiang Lius.h.i.+ could not possibly let him run away .

"Mr . Jiang!" Angelica ran after him quickly .

Only after Jiang Lius.h.i.+ disappeared from their line of sight did the crowd feel relief . The shock Jiang Lius.h.i.+ had brought them today was deeply rooted in their hearts . In truth, the level-3 mutant zombie may have terrified them, but Jiang Lius.h.i.+, who none of them believed he could beat it, was much a more frightening existence than it .  

Tomiko had witnessed the whole battle from far away . She also stood agape . Every time she thought it was over for Jiang Lius.h.i.+, the latter created one miracle after the other .

"If he is willing to stay in Chukyo Base, it would be wonderful!" exclaimed a paranormal from Tomiko's team .

"It's too late…" Tomiko sighed while shaking her head .

Undoubtedly, Jiang Lius.h.i.+ had noticed they had chosen to abandon him instead of helping him . However, Jiang Lius.h.i.+ didn't mind at all .

Tomiko was a kindhearted girl, but she too felt it was a pity that they had lost their chance to deepen their ties with Jiang Lius.h.i.+'s team . She stared at the manor with mixed feelings . The revelation that Angelica was the base's leader had also stunned her . But compared to the surprises Jiang Lius.h.i.+ brought, Angelica's matter was insignificant .

The manor's interior was quite s.p.a.cious . After entering the manor and walking for some time, they reached a j.a.panese-style garden, which gave off a sense of serenity and elegance .

The moment Jiang Lius.h.i.+ entered the garden with the Vulcan in hand, the garden's atmosphere affected him greatly . Snapping out of his daze, Jiang Lius.h.i.+ walked toward a building and shot the door's lock, smas.h.i.+ng it completely . Then, he kicked open the door .

The first thing Jiang Lius.h.i.+ saw was an SUV and a man, whose body was trembling uncontrollably, trying to walk to the vehicle weakly . With Ran Xiyu's confirmation, it was a no-brainer that the weak-looking man was Shen Kui .  

"Jiang Lius.h.i.+!" screamed Shen Kui, weakly . As soon as he saw Jiang Lius.h.i.+, he discarded every thought of escaping . He was clearly aware of Jiang Lius.h.i.+'s energy, power, and speed, so it was impossible for him to flee . He fell in total despair . Ten minutes earlier, he was filled with confidence, but now, he was reduced to such a miserable state . Just Jiang Lius.h.i.+'s presence scared him to death!

"You want that Black Rubik's Cube, right?" asked Shen Kui .

"Take it out!" ordered Jiang Lius.h.i.+ .

"In truth, the cube is of no use to you," said Shen Kui . "If you want to obtain endless resources, our organization can provide-"

"Less nonsense! Take the cube out!" interrupted Jiang Lius.h.i.+ impatiently .

"No worries . I'll hand it to you immediately," replied Shen Kui .

Then, Shen Kui picked up the travel bag next to him, opened it, and took out a small black cube out of it .

Although Shen Kui was seriously wounded, he was able to sense that a spiritual sense was locked on him . Moreover, Jiang Lius.h.i.+'s eyes were fixed on him, so how could he dare to play any tricks?

As soon as Jiang Lius.h.i.+ saw the black cube, he felt excited . Sta.r.s.eed also sensed the black cube's existence and expressed its intention to absorb it .

Jiang Lius.h.i.+ leaned toward Shen Kui and grabbed the black cube from his hands . Shen Kui was grief-stricken, but he didn't dare to say anything . On the other hand, Jiang Lius.h.i.+ could not be happier . He held the black cube carefully and scrutinized it .

After the sound, Jiang Lius.h.i.+'s line of sight seemed to cross the cube's surface and reach its interior . Inside the black cube was hollow s.p.a.ce, which was beyond Jiang Lius.h.i.+'s initial expectations . The s.p.a.ce was 100 square meters dimension, in which many metal blocks were contained .

Jiang Lius.h.i.+ had never seen or heard of such metals before . Apparently, they were the metals needed to build the s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p, and the black cube was similar to the MCV's storage s.p.a.ce . Maybe, the black cube was also a part of the s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p .

Shen Kui observed Jiang Lius.h.i.+'s expression from the side . After Genesis' scientists discovered that the black cube actually held another dimension, which acted as a storage s.p.a.ce, they were all shocked . Adding the many advanced technologies from the lost civilization's relic, those discoveries propelled Genesis' development .

Naturally, Shen Kui expected Jiang Lius.h.i.+ to reveal a surprised expression or something similar, but instead to his expectations, Jiang Lius.h.i.+ actually seemed joyful . Seeing that, Shen Kui felt doubtful and wondered why a paranormal, who had obtained his powers after doomsday, could be so collected in the face of such overwhelming things .

"Other than the Black Rubik's Cube, what other things have you discovered?" asked Jiang Lius.h.i.+ .  

After confirming that one of the things Genesis discovered in the relic was the s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p, Jiang Lius.h.i.+ was unwilling to miss the slightest detail and piece of information . Of course, Jiang Lius.h.i.+ didn't was to restore that s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p . After all, it didn't belong to him . Only the MCV belonged to him!
