39 Goat's City Part Two.

"Are you scarred wifey?" Viosus concernedly asked, he noticed Yilas was being quite and her aura drastically changed.

Sabal also turned his head around looking at Yilas who was sitting neatly on his tail, he could sense her heartbeat moving faster.

"What's wrong Yilas?" The two stopped walking "There's nothing to be scare about, I am here to protect you, no beasts will dare to come close."

Yilas took a deep breath and nodded, she wouldn't let such a trivial matter troubling her any longer. Thanked to the two fierce and reliable men here with her, she had nothing to worry about.

"Let's get in!" Yilas jumped off Sabal's tail, she exuberantly walked toward the giant gate.

The market was just as vibrant as it was last time, people and beasts were packed elbows to elbows, the two ails of merchants screamed and yelled vociferously. Every eye was on them this time, it wasn't sure if it was because Sabal stood out too much from regular beasts or it was because Yilas and Viosus had their face covered on a hot summer day.

Whichever way they took, the swamp of people made some room for them, as if they avoided the three like a plague. Sabal and Viosus didn't mind too much, it was better in their opinions for beasts to be far away from Yilas. Once she got used to the stares, Yilas switched her attention to the goods they were selling, one specific stall caught her attention.

It was a rice booth-like place, the different types of grains and rice were neatly demonstrated in nicely folded leaves, the folding on the leaves made it looked like a square bowl. Yilas inched in closer and examined each one, the white long-grain rice smelled so good she stood there for a while, a female seller came up to Yilas immediately.

"You got good eye little female, that is our best rice this year!" The merchant had a head like a buffalo, her eyes were dangling with different pieces of expensive jewelry, showing off her wealth.

"It smelled very nice, how much for a bag?" Yilas nodded in agreement, even she who didn't know much about grains could tell this kind was a premium.

"That size is a half-month worth, I will sell them for 2 white stones or half a goldstone." The lady pointed her finger at the leafy bowl the rice was contained in, Yilas eyes followed her finger. Though she said half-month worth, in order to feed 8 mouths at her home, it would last one week at most.

She thought if they buy two bags with one of her goldstone, they could eat rice with meat, making the stored meat last longer. After carefully calculated, Yilas took out one stone and give it to the Buffalo merchant. She exclaimed out of shock seeing such wealth coming from the young female, she was secretly overjoyed for not shooing them away because of how they looked at first.

"What a smart female, this rice tasted the best so you will like it." She immediately waved over some helpers to bag the rice up for the customers.

Sabal and Vio who was standing only a step away reluctantly waiting for the rice, since their diet only consisted of meat, they were not so enthusiastic about Yilas buying so much rice. However, neither of them voiced any disagreement, they both thought if that was what their female wanted then it shall be what she got.

The rice merchant gave filled up the rice in two big skin-like bags and have her helper relieved it to the two carnivore beasts behind the female, she was too scared to even look at them.

After buying the rice, Yilas mood significantly improved, since their clan's food had solely been meat for some time, she desperately wanted some carbs and vegetables. She was dreaming about all the tasty food she could make while skipping along the street.

Yilas was mind was up with the clouds when she hit something tall and hard, knocking herself over on her back. Sabal and Vio who followed her from behind sped up in an instant and lifted her off the ground, if she stayed down any longer the beasts around would have stepped on her.

"OWwwww...!" Yilas rubbed her thin b.u.t.t in pain, she hit her head first so it was also hurt. She looked up to see what had hit her and all she saw was a giant back, twice the size average men. Sabal who was nearly 2 meters tall was still smaller and shorter than the man's back. He didn't even notice Yilas had b.u.mped into him, as he was still standing and chatting with somebody next to him.

"Hey, b.a.s.t.a.r.d! Watch where you are standing." Sabal annoyedly grunted at the beast, he didn't even care if that man was twice his size, he only cared about the fact that his female was hurt.

Yilas heart jumped out of her chest, what was he thinking, she asked herself, if this man got angry their lives would be over.

The giant man turned around at the sound of Sabal's voiced, he had black bullhead and 2 thick, arm-size horns, his ears were decorated with golden hoop earrings. Even though he had a human body, it was covered in black fur, moreover, the mere size of the man could give Yilas a heart attack, she had never seen a man or an animal this big.

Yilas quickly grabbed Sabal's arm and tried to drag him away before the bull could see them but it was too late, he had already paused his conversation and looked down on the three of them. His eyes were deadly and black, Yilas could see her pathetic reflection struggling in his eyes.

The bull exhaled one time, his nostril flared up wide and the air blew harshly on Yilas's cover, the pressure was even more than she imagined. Sabal next to her didn't budge, he took one step and cover Yilas with his body, glared at the buffalo.

"Watch that stinky breath of yours too if you want to live another day." Sabal threatened the bull, if he dared to disrespect Yilas he wouldn't hesitate to eat him up alive.

"Youngsters nowadays got some guts ain't it?" The bull beast finally spoke, he laughed off the threat from Sabal like it was a joke, his voiced were deep and thick, he sounded like a 40 something-year-old man.

"Test me and we will see some guts today..." Sabal hissed, the crowd around them started to notice and moved away from the two beasts. The beast didn't take Sabal seriously, he laughed even louder, shaking the ground on their feet.
