He was left with eight units of energy which was not enough to level up spearmans.h.i.+p any further.

With nothing better to do and not really in any hurry he started to meditate. Even though he was seemingly doing everything right even after a long while nothing happened.

As he was doing, so he heard the door open and two pairs of footsteps came in.

Harrison could judge by the noise they made, one was a female and the other one was a male.

"So nurse Finkle, how is our vegetable?" A male voice said.

"I know he is unconscious but still you could show a bit of respect," nurse Finkle replied.

"In my book he is just wasting valuable resources. If it were up to me he would be downstairs already and you could be spending the time you spend with him with me in the on call room Eliza." The male voice salaciously replied followed by his giggling,

'What a stupid lecherous r.e.t.a.r.d.' Harrison thought as he was listening in on their conversation.

"Doctor Hall, I have told you before your advances on me are highly inappropriate. Never mind the fact that this is s.e.xual hara.s.sment in the workplace, you are a married man." Nurse Finkle reminded him.

"Oh Eliza, n.o.body has to know and I'll be good to you. I know you have been struggling to make ends meet since your husband died. I could get you more overtime." Doctor Hall said before moving himself towards nurse Finkle.

'Lecherous sleazeball if I ever get out of this bed I will make you bleed.' Harrison was already cursing his ancestors in his head.

Nurse Finkle suddenly exclaimed, "Please, let go of me. Let me do my work."

Harrison quickly opened up his inventory as he had quite a good impression of nurse Finkle and hastily tried to find something that would help him resolve this.

He saw he had two bottles of the s.h.i.+tty potion left. He made two blobs of liquid float in his inventory s.p.a.ce and sent one into his stomach.

Doctor Hall was still doing his act.

"Eliza don't be like this. You know I could have any other nurse on the floor but I want you."

"Please, let go of me or I will scream." Eliza said with a trembling voice.

Soon there was the sound of loud fart coming out from his behind followed by a stench.

"Patients' blood pressure and heart rate is rising." Nurse Finkle almost joyfully exclaimed.

"Hmmm. Let me check him." Doctor Hall replied.

Harrison could feel him being uncovered.

'Come to daddy!!!' Harrison thought in excitement.

'System, show me everything I can see!' Harrison ordered.

There was him and the bed cover on his legs and female hand uncovering his hospital gown. Finally, he saw a male hand holding a stethoscope from doctor Hall who wanted to listen to his heartbeat.

'Got ya.' Harrison exclaimed before he ordered the system to transport the other s.h.i.+tty potion directly into the hand holding the stethoscope.

"Aaaaaaaah." A male voice was heard before the stethoscope first let go and then was retracted.

"What happened?" Nurse Finkle asked.

Harrison could only hear a sound of hurried breathing before doctor Hall could reply.

"Nothing. Mother… It must have been a static electricity discharge. I felt it in my hand as if something bit me. Look, it's still red. Mother… He explained himself.

"I need to change the patient's sheets. You go take care of yourself." She replied trying to get him to leave.

"No, no I will help you. Aaaaaah."

Harrison heard him say before there was a loud fart.

"Give him lorazepam. As before. I have to go." Doctor Hall said before running out of the room with hurried steps.

'Hope you don't make it to the toilet.' Harrison who would be laughing his head off now if he could and was thinking this in his mind before preparing to intercept the drugs for future use.

"b.a.s.t.a.r.d." Nurse Finkle exclaimed angrily once she was left alone.

Harrison noticed his range of perception was a bit bigger than before, but he didn't have a clue if it was because of his rise in willpower or energy. Anyway, it was a good thing, so he was hopeful that it would continue to grow.

He stored away four droplets of lorazepam into different slots before using one.

'Goodbye nurse Finkle.' Were his last thoughts before he faded away.

Closing the energy recovery notice, he was greeted by the m.a.s.o.c.h.i.s.t and spearmans.h.i.+p leveling up. m.a.s.o.c.h.i.s.t reached level 11 and spearmans.h.i.+p stopped at level 10.

He checked his energy, and he only had one single unit left.

"Ahhh d.a.m.n you Rogun." He yelled when he figured out the masochism skill took most of the energy he got by crossing over.

He checked his skills.

With one unit of energy he was finding it even more risky to return and with no sleepiness whatsoever he started to meditate.

As the morning broke he recovered 23 out of 115 units of energy and reached level 9 in meditation.

After sitting the whole night in a Buddhist posture when he stood up his joints made cracking, but he was feeling refreshed instead of fatigued.

Harrison quickly put his things into the inventory, although it cost him some energy he would recover it again by the time he got to the town. He climbed down the cliff and started running.

The rustling of leaves being broken under his feet and the wind rus.h.i.+ng to his face with an occasional branch hitting made the running in the woods even more exciting.

As he ran he noticed his body was moving a lot faster than before. The added stats in agility and strength boosted his speed by a lot. He totally forgot he was not in a safe environment when he suddenly ran into a large deer-like animal drinking from the creek.

The animal was at first surprised and wanted to bolt but seeing his small size it decided to defend his drinking spot and pointed his antlers at him and decided to rush him.

Harrison barely avoided its charge and ran behind a tree as he stopped. Looking at the deer-like animal he remembered it was a herbivore that was extremely aggressive and dangerous when you encroach into his territory. The locals called it ormash which basically translated to "thorns of death".

"Looks like I found lunch." Harrison exclaimed as he watched the ormash turn around after missing him, giving a loud bellow and running towards the large tree he was hiding behind.

It rammed its antlers towards Harrison but Harrison was circling the tree and the stupid animal could not reach him and only hit the bark. As he was out of its sight most of the time the ormash made loud intimidating bellows trying to a.s.sert its strength over the intruder every time he hit the bark.

After once again hitting the bark it was greeted by Harrison's hand swinging downwards towards its head as it bellowed for the last time. Harrison's battle axe hit the middle of its head right between the horns and blood with brain matter splattered out like a small waterfall before the animal even figured out it was in danger.

With a loud thud it crashed on the ground.

'I guess I get energy back by killing. And it's a pa.s.sive process too.' That is quite convenient.

Harrison looked at the notification of energy gain with a flabbergasted expression before trying to store the carca.s.s into his inventory. Sadly the system informed him it was too big.

The carca.s.s was around 2.5 meters long and 2 meters high and 0.4 meters thick with half a meter long antlers on its head. Harrison tried lifting it, but he could only lift its head.

Thinking about cutting it up he came to an idea.

'System, join four inventory s.p.a.ces together.' He said in his mind and imagined the s.p.a.ce he needed.

Looking at the grid he saw four inventory s.p.a.ces merged into one long one.

Energy -8 notification also popped up.

"So even this is possible." He exclaimed with joy before he put the ormash in.

Energy -4 notification.

"Ahh d.a.m.n. Now it costs more. Well at least it costs only when I need it." He exclaimed before also storing the axe.

Harrison noticed he made the s.p.a.ce too big as the image displaying the ormash in the grid only occupied a bit more than three quarters of length.

"So one grid s.p.a.ce is approximately 1 meter." He quickly calculated.

He continued to walk towards the town but this time he was being careful not to encounter any more surprises. As he reached the road he breathed out with relief since from now on it was almost a guaranteed smooth journey.
