He opened his eyes only to see Shriya's eyes were shut closely but there was a continuous flow of tears rolling down and she seemed to be mumbling something but he couldn't make out what she was saying.

Before he could wake her up he saw her crying loudly and called out loudly "Mom, dad, don't go. Please be with me". She called hysterically and it scared the sh^t out of him.

He can see that she was still sleeping and understood that she was dreaming. She often had some nightmares and he is aware of this. But whenever she had nightmares she would wake up but now she isn't waking up no matter what he said,it seemed as if she is trying to stay in that dream for long. On top of that she is shouting loudly.

He embraced tightly and said "It's okay love, I am here for you, it's just a dream. Its okay".

He patted her head and rubbed her back to soothe her. He called her in a very gentle tone and at last she opened her eyes. He was already in panic when she didn't wake up and seeing her opening his eyes he felt a bit calm and relieved.

He helped her sit up and gave her a gla.s.s of water. She took water obediently and drank all the water. She calmed down a little and when she saw his face she burst into tears again.

He hugged her and let her cry and after venting all her tears she calmed down. Her eyes became moist, red and puffy with continuous crying, her face all messed up.

Her cheeks had stains of her tears and her nose is all running and she looked completely devastated.

Only after making sure that she was completely under control he asked her "Did you have a nightmare, it's okay it's just a dream?".

She shook her head "No, it's a beautiful dream, very beautiful dream".

He asked with confusion written all over his face "Then why did you cry ?" All the while he sat next to her holding her hands in his own and patting gently.

She said while trying to hold her tears "Because it's won't come true. I want it to be true". He asked her with caution "Do you mind to share the dream with me ?".

Shriya said "I went to my house back in my hometown and it looked exactly like what it did six years ago. My parents were there and so did my brother. My peaceful family was there and so were my beautiful flower plants, it's so lively and perfect."

"We went there to meet them, you were also there with them. They said they are happy to see me with you and they said they are happy for us. They even said they are proud of me".

He asked "So what happened ?". He felt that it was a good dream and didn't understand why she was crying.

She said "I missed them, I want them to be with me again but they left me, they disappeared just like that leaving me behind all alone, all for myself". Tears rolled down her cheeks once again.
