Shriya was completely drunk and she was mumbling all the irrelevant stuff she could think of when Abhi tried to hold her still.

When they reached home Abhi opened the door for her and tried to carry her in his arms as he always does whenever she fell asleep before but this some time she wiggled out from his arms mumbling and protesting she want to walk.

Abhi tried to help her walk but her steps were unsteady and she stumbled and didn't allow him to hold her saying "I am fine and can walk fine."

He had no other choice but to put her on his shoulders forcibly and she yelled out protesting "You rogue, leave me. I will tell my man about you. He will kill you for sure."

Abhi smiled and asked "Is that so ? Is he that powerful ?" and she said with pride in her eyes which he couldn't see at that moment "Of course, he is powerful and he is so mysterious too" she whispered the last words afraid others might hear her.

Abhi was amused and he was already at the front door and entered the living room. He asked "So who is he ?" and she once again whispered "Shh, this is a secret. He is Abhi, Mr. Abhishek Malhotra".

Yash, who was following behind his brother said with a stutter "Bhai, you should take care of her. She is drunk. Drinking is bad for health".

He smiled and when he entered the living room six pairs of eyes were focused on the people who just entered home.

Abhi looked at the people with surprise too

Amomg the people some were smiling, some were surprised and one particular person looked angry at the scene.

Shriya was still not in her correct senses and tried to wiggle out of the man's tight lock. Abhi greeted the old man with a smile "Hey grandpa" to which the old man just nodded his head in acknowledgment with his eyes still on the woman in his grandson's hands.

Yash ran towards the old man calling out with a large smile "Dadu" and it was evident he was happy and Abhi said "I will back in a minute."

With that he pulled Shriya back into his arms and went upstairs to his room. He asked Shriya in a gentle tone "Come on love, take a shower" to which she shook her head stubbornly.

Seeing her like that he said in helplessness "Okay, just wash your face. It's not good to sleep with make up on. Please".

She opened her eyes and saw her man's twinkling eyes and said "Okay, if you kiss me".

He nodded and said "If you change your dress" and she hurried to get her night shorts and t shorthand ran into the bathroom.

Elder Malhotra came home after a long time wanting to see his grandchildren. It's been so long since he saw them last.

He had to attend a meeting in Bangkok and had to spend a week there. So he came here to give them a surprise and didn't inform them beforehand. He asked Uday to pick him up from airport.

But he got a shock of his life, Rahul his younger grandchild, who was a spoilt kid of Malhotras' was home taking care of his wife and looked like a dutiful husband. And the well disciplined member of his family went out with his woman knowing his status and even let her get drunk.

Preeti liked the old man very much who brought her so many gifts for her and he asked her about her well being and her studies.

He also asked about the health of Gouthami and Manvi. To him Manvi is also like his own granddaughter.

He even asked both of them to come to America so that the elders can take care of them during this crucial position. He was worried about them because it's their first pregnancy.

He knew both Uday and Manvi's parents are against their relationship and she is feeling alone. Mrs. Malhotra adores Manvi so much and he asked her to come.

Manvi was excited and told "No grandpa. Mom called me earlier and enquired me about my health. She even asked me to come home for delivery but I am not willing to leave this man alone."

Uday said to his wife "Come on Mannu, If you stay with your parents, I will just move here and will visit you on weekends and holidays and I can do my work without tension".

Elder grandpa asked Manvi "Is your father and other family members talking to you beta ?" to which she shook her head "Not yet grandpa, but I think they are okay because mom said they are fine with me going there".

Old man thought for a moment and said to Uday "Don't let her go alone beta. You should accompany her always."

Manvi looked a bit surprised and old man said "I know your parents are good people but other people in the house and especially those cousins, try to stay conscious around them."

Manvi didn't take the old man's words in a bad way afterall she knew how vicious her cousins can be and she witnessed it once herself before.

She nodded her head and Rahul who was trying to help his wife sit properly was not at all interested in this. He just asked "How his parents were and about their well being ? He also asked about Gouthami's parents and if they contacted his mother and father ?".

Old man a.s.sured him "Everything is fine and everyone are okay with it but they are just stopping themselves because of their ego to start a conversation with younger. They are just waiting for the younger generation to apolosise to them."
