Abhi also arranged for marriage reception for his brother and Gouthami the next day evening.

They made it simple but Gouthami's parents called her and wished her at night on the day if her wedding. This small thing made her so happy and feel less guilty for going against him. She decided to use the dress which she brought with Ayush.

Before parents were not happy with her marrying Rahul. They wanted her to get married to Abhi who is the heir and the next owner of the entire Malhotra Empire.

They never had much opinion about Rahul. Back then he used to chill and party around all the time and in their eyes he was nothing but a lazy and spoiled kid.

It was when Gouthami started liking him he became a bit less spoiled. Though he didn't go to work he stopped messing around recklessly and causing trouble.

When Gouthami's parents knew about this, they were against them. She fought with them and moved to a single apartment.

Abhi was already aware of their relationship from the very beginning. When he understood that Gouthami's parents were not okay with his brother this he had to take a step to help him because Rahul and Gouthami are serious about each other. He talked with his father and Grandpa and when they are okay with it he asked their permission to get his brother straight.

He talked with them and made a plan for Rahul. They sent Rahul to India to help Abhi and he had no other choice but to work hard at the company and Abhi never went easy on him.

Now Rahul is managing his own company and he became more sensible and responsible after he started taking care of Preeti.

He became a completely different man. He became a sensible, trusty worthy and a competent man and proved worthy of his brother's trust. No matter how spoiled Rahul was he was always a loyal follower of his brother.

So many thoughts were running in Abhi's head. He sat on the bed, closed his eyes and leaned against the headboard of the bed.

Shriya came out of the bathroom after changing into a night dress and sat beside him. She understood something was wrong with him and asked him caressing his head "What happened?".

He leaned on to her shoulder but soon sat up and checked her temperature with his hand. He looked at her and was frightened to see her pale face. Moreover she has a fever too.

He didn't understand what to do. It was already midnight. Though he could ask Gouthami to take a look, he didn't want to disturb them.

He helper her lie down saying "How long have you had fever ? and why didn't you tell me that you are not well ?". She shook her head and said "I just have a little bit of temperature. Why make a such a big deal out of it ? I will be fine after a good sleep."

He shook his head and said "You wait". With that he called the reception and asked them for a doctor, but they told it would take some time as it was midnight.

He was worried and had no option but to message Rahul.

Abhi : "Are you guys asleep?"

Rahul : "Not yet bhai. Why ?".

Abhi called Rahul and said "Is Gouthami asleep ?". Rahul didn't understand why his brother was asking him the same question again but said as matter of factly "No, she is just talking with her friends over the phone".

Abhi asked "Shri has a bit of temperature. I tried calling the reception, but it will take some time. So if Gouthami could take a look at her".

Before Abhi could finish his words Rahul said "We will be there in two minutes. Let me tell her".

With that he hung up on his brother. Abhi brought a tub with warm water and started to wipe her face with it.

As expected he heard a knock on the door and Abhi hurried to it. Rahul and Gouthami stood there. Gouthami was also in a night dress she wore a coat over it.

She went to the bed and saw Shriya. She covered Shriya with the bedsheet afterall Rahul is also there. She checked her temperature and asked her a few questions.

Abhi stood by the side looking at her worriedly and Gouthami gave out a sigh. Abhi sat beside his woman and held her hands in his and asked Gouthami "What happened suddenly? She was fine just now ?".

Gouthami replied "It's just she is tired. And yesterday it's her first time." Abhi understood what Gouthami was saying "After first time, some females suffer with fever. It's okay she will be fine once she gets a good rest. But make sure to give it a break for toady".

Abhi breathed in relief and nodded his head. Both Rahul and Gouthami walked out and Gouthami said with a mischievous smile "Try to be a gentle with her for a few days" and he nodded with the same pale face as before "Come on Abhi, it's fine and it's usual in females after their first time. Believe me she will be fine".
