Four days flew by with their daily routine and it was finally the last day of the year, 31st December. Abhi arranged a party for a few close friends, family and the recent movie crew and cast at one of the luxurious hotel banquets in the city.

It was a theme party and the theme is Mask theme with princess's gowns for woman and suits for men. Each and everyone who attends the party must wear a mask according to their dresses.

It got so much attention because it was given by the superstar of bollywood Abhishek Malhotra himself who never involve in these kind of events. It will be a great opportunity for those actors and actresses to meet famous and talented people from industry and to make connections.

Abhi asked Rahul not to take Preeti to the party. He didn't want the little girl to see anything that she shouldn't and get unnecessary attention.

That day most of the students didn't go to college in Shriya's cla.s.s. After having a good noon's nap, Shriya woke up at 4pm. She saw a big box on the table in one corner of the room. It is almost half the size of her in length.

The entire material is shining and it was such a delight for any girl to look at it. Shriya practically couldn't take her eyes off the dress.

She was afraid that she might ruin such a master piece if she held it wrongly, forget about putting it on.

Just then Abhi entered the room and he saw his woman staring at the dress. He stood against the door and asked "Why are you so surprised? don't you like it ?".

Shriya looked in the direction of the source of the sound and saw Abhi standing there. He was looking at her with a smile and he held two rectangular boxes in his hands. One is a blue colored velvet box while the other is a beautifully carved wooden box.

She shook her head and said "What a beautiful dress. I practically couldn't take my eyes of it. Any girl will like it".

A wide smile appeared on his face and he walked towards her and placed the boxes on the table. He back hugged her and planted a kiss on her head. He said patting her head "But it's yours now".

She placed the dress carefully on the bed and turned to hug him back. He said caressing her cheek with one hand and the other wrapped around her waist "Tonight wear this to the party".

She nodded and he handed her over the blue boxe which he placed on the table earlier. She took it from his hands and opened it carefully.

She saw a platinum floral cut chain with an oval cut navy blue sapphire embedded in the pendent. It has small white diamonds in the wavy design.

It was paired with a ring. The ring is also made of platinum and a blue colored small sapphire with other white diamonds surrounding it. They are all perfectly crafted and one could say that the craftsmanship is accurate and exquisite and made it into a masterpiece.

Shriya couldn't take her eyes of them. She admired each and every part of it from each and every angle. She looked at him with surprise and awe in her eyes.

He said "It's a gift for new year and I hope you liked it". She nodded and said "I love them, and I am sure every other girl is going to be envious of me for this".

He replied indifferently "Let them be". He then looked at her "The party will start at 8 pm and remember something." She looked at him and he said "media will be there and they will do a live broadcast tonight."

She looked at him with confusion and fright to which he replied with a smile as if he understood her concern "Don't worry, As I already said It's a mask theme party and everyone is going to wear masks to the party and no one can recognize you".

Shriya was afraid to go to such a party. Last time at Kunal's birthday party media wasn't allowed inside, so it was fine for her.

She wanted to avoid the party so she said "What if this dress doesn't fit me ?"

He smiled and answered "Don't worry, all other dresses of yours are also designed by this one man and they all fits you perfectly and so will this".

She said "I will be all alone and will feel lonely there".

Abhi shook his head and replied "Manvi, Brahmini and your silly friend Sony are also going to be there. You will be fine and most importantly that Raju is also coming and he wants to meet you."

Shriya asked raising her eyebrow in question "That director from earlier ?"

Abhi nodded and she said "But." and was about say something else, when he interrupted her mid sentence and said in a firm tone "No more buts and stop making some random excuses. It won't work. You are coming or I will drag you along with me".

Saying so he walked away and turned to look at her at the door step and said "Go and wash up first. Stylist will be here in an hour".
