Chapter 313: Great Destiny

Pointed at with a sword by a pretty girl, Gu Yunhe was in a good mood.

He laughed, stretched out his hand and brushed Sword One’s sword away. Yet Sword One did not buy his smile, and put the sword back upon his shoulder, close to his neck, looking rather lethal.

Elder Miss owned this place, and this sneaky man was probably up to no good. Sword One would have killed this man in the past, instead of wasting time here, but this was the Gu Mansion, and Sword One hesitated because she needed to take Elder Miss into consideration.

“Who on earth are you?!” Sword One asked, furiously.

Seeing Sword One’s angry face, Gu Yunhe was not at all threatened. This pretty girl did seem quite different when she was pissed. Oh man, the capital was indeed much better than the army at the boundary!

He just did not want to reveal his identity, otherwise this pretty girl would get frightened by who he really was. It was a crime to put a sword upon the master’s throat in the mansion after all!

He waved his hand. “Don’t be mad!”

“I am the Young Master of this mansion. Don’t worry, I won’t blame you for what you have done.” Gu Yunhe showed a very friendly smile. “Now, can you put down your sword?”

Sword One frowned slightly. She had done a very thorough investigation upon the Gu Mansion before she became Elder Miss’s maid.

There were indeed two young masters at the Gu Mansion, but they were mostly not at home, but in the army at the boundary. Madame Gu was indeed a woman with a long vision.

Unexpectedly, these two boys were at home now.

They might think that they could get a job, because their sister was marrying Lord Ling?

Sword One wasn’t very pleased. He was here to bully Elder Miss, she believed.

However, Sword One still withdrew the sword. She asked him coldly, “What are you doing here?”

Gu Yunhe was wearing a smile all this time, despite Sword One’s cold treatment. The Lin Family did offer the girl very capable and bold maids. Well, that was great, they would all come in handy.

He was here seeking for the trash Gu Chaoyan, but now he decided that there was no need to speak with her. What could she possibly do?

“Nothing really, just looking around.” Gu Yunhe said casually. Then he turned to Sword One and had a very strange look in the eyes. “Beauty, it is your great destiny that made you meet me. You are not going to be a maid any more. You will become a lady!”

“See you around.” Gu Yunhe kept a loving smile. Then he left slowly.

Sword One had a complicated look on her face, as she watched Gu Yunhe retreating. It seemed that no one apart from Elder Miss was right in their mind in this mansion.

Sword One checked around and saw the fruit was still hanging in the tree. The fruits planted by Elder Miss should not be given to someone like this.

Sword One was about to leave as she put the sword back to sheath, when the sound of footsteps approached again and she brought out the sword again.
