Ru s.h.i.+ quickly covered herself with the quilt. Mu Chang smirked without saying anything.

He walked over and smoothed out her hair, which she was sure, was completely frizzy by now.

Then he held her face in her palms and lifted it up to his mouth and kissed her hard.

'I'm falling in love with him,' Ru s.h.i.+ thinks suddenly.

She got scared by her own thoughts as she opened her eyes and looked up at his handsome face.

It's just s.e.x. He has made a woman out of her. He has romanced her, unlike anything she'd ever dreamed of and has shown her what true happiness is.

But she now knows where this is going. She is falling in love with him.

"What's wrong?" He asked as he traced his thumb against her lips.

She shook her head.

"Nothing," she answers.

Mu Chang looked at her for a long time, and then he leaned down and kissed her again.

"I've got a few business meetings to attend. Is it alright with you?"

She nodded quickly, "No problem," she rea.s.sured him.

"I'll just clean up and then read my books."

And then I will silently ponder over my mental state. Who falls in love with the guy she's just been sleeping with? Ru s.h.i.+ thought.

"You're sure you'll be okay?" He asked again.

"I won't be long, I'm just checking up on some things". He explained hoping she would not be upset about him leaving her alone.

She was touched.

"I know Mu Chang. Don't worry I'm a big girl, I'm used to being alone." She reminded him.

"Thank you," he says.

"I got it." She took his hand and kissed his palm.

"And honestly, it doesn't matter if you're not busy. I want you to take care of your work. It's important."

He briefly closed his eyes then opened them as he stared at her, his gaze as sizzling as the sun.

"Even though I didn't want to admit it, I like you a lot. I can't say that I love you yet. But I don't want our relations.h.i.+p to be just about s.e.x. From today, let's start going out and see what happens," he continues.

Her heart stopped. Waves of emotion rushed over her. She tries not to be excited by his words but could not stop how this made her feel.

He didn't give her the opportunity to reply and went on speaking.

"You're one of a kind, Kitten, a gem. I'm glad that that idiot cheated on you and gave me the chance to meet you. You're very precious, always remember that."

She closed her eyes as she tried not to embarra.s.s herself by crying.

His voice echoed in her mind, "you're a gem. You're very precious."

She doesn't remember the last time someone said such words to her.

"Also, I want you to start living here with me. I don't trust you alone with Feng Lu out there."

"But…" she starts to object.

Ru s.h.i.+ thought it was too soon for them to live together.

"Think about it, especially the benefits!" He winked at her as he left the room.

Maybe he was right. Living here has a lot of benefits. Ru s.h.i.+ blushed as she remembered what he said.

Because Ru s.h.i.+ was tired from the previous exercise she went back to sleep after freshening up.

Mu Chang looked at the little woman who was asleep with a smile on his face. When he came back yesterday, she was already asleep. In order not to wake her up he had gone to sleep in his own room.

All night, he had thought about what he had said to her earlier. He meant it. It was time to move on with his life.

He put his hand on her cheek.

"You'll be late if you don't get up."

Ru s.h.i.+ did not respond to him, so Mu Chang spoke louder, "Ru s.h.i.+!!!!"

She suddenly opened her eyes when she heard her name.

"Ah…"

Ru s.h.i.+ got up and held on to his waist.

Mu Chang patted her head and told her to dress up.

Ru s.h.i.+ looked at her appearance and realized that she was naked!

Because she was shy, she hurriedly covered her naked body with the quilt. She then stretched down to pick up the clothes that she wore yesterday.

"Ah...ah…"

Because the quilt was not properly wrapped around her, it fell down.

Mu Chang looked at her and smirked. Sighing he walked towards her, picked up the clothes that she could not reach and looked at them.

"They are dirty, you cannot wear them," he said, throwing them aside.

"Then can you help me find clothes while I take a bath?" She looked at him with a pitiful look.

"Okay," he agreed.

Ru s.h.i.+ then rushed to the bathroom. When she came out, she saw him holding a new skirt. He seemed to have bought new clothes for her.

"Do you want the skirt?" he asked the little woman who was tightly holding the towel around her.

This woman was so bold when they were having s.e.x but afterward seemed so reserved. Mu Chang shook his head.

Ru s.h.i.+ nodded her head.

"Then kiss me." He smiled smugly at the woman before him.

If Li Yi was here, he would have cursed him bitterly.

He sent him to buy the clothes but he's receiving the reward!

Ru s.h.i.+ blushed as she went on her tiptoes to kiss him lightly.

He smirked as he held her chin.

"Remember, this is called a kiss."

He covered her lips, slipping his tongue into her sweet mouth. Only after had she lost her breath, did he let her go.

Ru s.h.i.+ lowered her head and blushed. He then left the room.

Dressed in the clothes that he gave her, she came downstairs to see him eating.

When the elderly maid saw her, she smiled softly,

"Miss Ru here is your breakfast."

Ru s.h.i.+ smiled at her, "thank you."

She went to the table and sat down. She drank the milk that was in a gla.s.s on the table.

"I've arranged a driver for you," Mu Chang said as he looked at her.

"Ah? But I can go by myself," she argued.

Ru s.h.i.+ did not want a driver as she was afraid of the rumors spreading around about it.

"Relax. He will not drop you in front of your school. He can drop you somewhere safe where no one would see you."

Mu Chang said as if he could read her mind.

"Ok then!" she finally agreed.
