34 More Missions?

That's quite a long time it's only been about a week since I've gotten here, yet my strongest-disciple is already Tier 1 hehe.

[Multiple Missions Issued, Check your missions tab!]

Could you be a less predictable system? What will the penalty this time be if I fail to do your pointless mission?

[Host please pay up for voice commands!]

d.a.m.n scammer I can promise now I won't 'pay up' for voice commands.

Grumbling, I opened the Missions tab and was met with the following;

[Main Mission 0.3: Accept the duel on your honor of the Most Powerful Sect! The Most Powerful Sect must not lose to any other body of power. Bodies of power may not even use the word power, once they see the might of the true Most Powerful‌ Sect! Reclaim your honor young man!]

[Time Limit: 6 Months]

[Rewards: Level-up, 80 MPS Points, One-time 50% Discount Coupon]

[Failure: Termination x3]

Looking at the failure penalty it irked me how similar the x3 was to one of those stupid faces on the internet. What does penalty x3 even mean? Are you going to turn me into meat paste three times over just to make fun of me?

[Host this termination will kill you three times over again, one time for each life after this one!]

F**k! Do you really need to sound so enthusiastic?

I ignored the terminator-Esque system and looked; there was surprisingly another mission for once!

[Side Mission: Obtain a direct disciple with a talent higher than type. The host should only have the best disciple to become the main pillar of the sect!]

[Time Limit: None]

[Rewards: One-time talent upgrade for the direct disciple, Level-up, 100 MPS Points]

Oh… Not bad, you didn't add a time limit to this one.

This is a lot of MPS Points too… I could buy both of the talent upgraders with the points I would get, plus the 50% discount coupon!

It looks like I would need to do another Entrance Exam soon, I have to cultivate as many talents as I can. But, it will be on this handsome wizard's own terms now!

I'll post a job on the merit board to put out flyers and spread the word around the city for an entire week. Then we can have a grand examination!

Hehe, I could even ask that little Phorbes to host it for me. He seems to have become a role model for everyone else.

The only thing I need to do is get proper testing equipment or it will take forever to finish the test using my bull-s.h.i.+t methods.

Rubbing my hands together and practicing my new mansense I started to think about how I could get the equipment…

After four days after putting the job post on the billboard, I sat in my room cultivating all the while.

All of the Tier 3 disciples that got both wins in the combat examination came to take a look at the Flaming Pinwheel. It made me wonder what kind of progress they have made…

I had just recently purchased the next tier of the Golden Dragon Suppressing Series and have been cultivating with it for about two days now. This part of the manual was really great!

It involved some physical moves which put a ton of strain on my body. Even though my mind was ten times as strong as a regular man, it was actually extremely taxing to concentrate on how to maintain that form!

While I did it I could feel my mind slowly expanding, which surprised me because I never actually felt the feeling of becoming stronger while I was deep in cycling mana around my body.

I stretched and got up, it was time for me to go check out their progress! I could see their transaction history on the Treasure Exchange much like a mom that could check their son's debit card history.

I happily walked along to the great Treasure Pavilion, it was madly s.h.i.+ning the in sun. The grandeur was no small amount as I felt a sense of pride swell up inside of my chest. I entered and went behind the desk and found the list the system kept as the purchase log.

[Phorbes: Fiery Vajra Palm T-0, Wind Slash T-0, Floating Clouds, Rising Steps: 1000 Merit Points]

I saw the first name and nearly fell to the ground, this really was too much to obtain in such a short amount of time. How did he do it?

This guy should only have been able to collect a small amount in such a short time. He even had picked the most difficult Body Cultivation Manual in the stock which was the forge fire body!

No wonder I heard steps around the Main-Hall, it was actually this big guy going to forge himself in the fires of a Pill Furnace!

The ForgeFire Body requires an extreme amount of discipline and pain-tolerance. The name was literally implied that you must forge your own body to become stronger in a pill furnace!

Is this guy a m.a.s.o.c.h.i.s.t…

I wonder if he plundered the merits from the other disciples, hehe. There are no rules saying that you can't do this. In fact, I would encourage it if he were to duel them to obtain more.

The strong and worthy to climb the ladder will be able to go faster if they are able to obtain more. The more cultivation material they have the better their insights into the Martial Dao will be.

The Martial Dao connects all of the Martial Skills, and only those with some insights into the Martial‌ Dao will be able to create Martial Skills. These types of people are very rare!

Most of the people that exist now have only been barely able to create a few of these types of Martial Skills, simply because obtaining insight into the Martial Dao is extremely difficult.

At least this big guy knew how to take care of himself. If he's lucky his little friend will show up at the examination. I hope he's able to surpa.s.s his old self and pa.s.s this time.

All of the disciples have been out and about talking with each other, but I never saw this buy guy. He must always be in that house of his cultivating…

I've been waiting for the few days I have been cultivating to check my status menu.

I wanted to see if the feeling I got as I grew stronger was also there when I was circulating mana, or if I was actually getting much stronger.

I opened up the little bronze-b.u.t.ton, as I eyed over it I wondered if it would ever change color…

Maybe one day you would turn into a golden b.u.t.ton.

I have to say I am impressed! I have only been cultivating for two days and yet it seems to be even faster than the first series!

[Host, in order to build a proper foundation in Tier 0, it took a long time to properly enlarge your mancircuits to the maximum amount they can hold.]

[Although you will still enlarge them in the future, this is the most ideal form of the human race's mana circuits! You must keep in mind that you will become the ideal human leader in the future as the Most Powerful Sect Leader!]

Even if I'm strong I want my disciples to be stronger! When this handsome wizard is an old man, they really need to take proper care of me!

Do you think it would be possible for me to live forever system? I asked this and my voice shook a bit, would it actually be possible?

[Anything is possible Host!]

d.a.m.n, you have your own problems too system. You don't know how to be compa.s.sionate at all! You would most likely wish to kill me right away in my next three lives with your failure penalties!

What would come next, would you give me 10 times termination over my next ten future lives?

[Please do not try to flatter the system, although the Most Powerful System will take your suggestions into consideration.]

F**k you really don't know how to communicate do you, I need to just ignore it.

I'll just spend my status points and match dexterity up with my main stats until I find a good reason to put it in strength or vitality I will keep doing this strategy…

Although maybe if I started putting points in vitality, I would be able to live longer. Every point must count as I grow into whatever the maximum Tier I can reach will be!

After allocating my stats, I took one more final glace;

It wouldn't hurt to put it into vitality when my dexterity matches my mage stats…
