Grenoid slammed his arms on the ground; he looked like a beast that walked on all four feet. He then turned his head toward Sungyoon.

The smooth patch of skin below his eyes split open, revealing a monstrous mouth. Inside it were three layers of teeth formed on top of each other. It was a terrifying sight. Grenoid instantly sucked all the nearby magical energy; it was like watching a whale trying to swallow all its prey.

A light appeared within his mouth. There were no other elements infused within it. It was pure magical energy, and it was the reason the attack was much more terrifying.

Sungyoon didnt have the time to think. He moved on reflex. After kicking his comrades away from the path of the magic cannon, he unfurled his wings. Then, he accelerated to his maximum speed to escape the line of fire. As he did so, he took up two Connectors in danger.

The atmosphere became unstable, and magical energy went crazy. The light smashed through the surface making up the cavity of the crater, then it went past the horizon.
