Chapter 2400 One Thousand Grandmaster Project I

Eleven days had pa.s.sed since I had handed down this near-impossible project, and it was far more stressful than I had expected.

It is not just selecting the subject for the experiment but also lining up all the artifacts and tools; commissioning ones that I don't have also ordering hundreds of types of alchemical products, from solutions to pastes.

I also had to send my own resources to the alchemist as they were necessary and craft a few of the solutions hints of rule-bending power, which I am expanding daily with a mult.i.tude of things and left wanting, even after draining it all.

I have also finished selecting the subjects, all nine hundred and thirty-three; the council had provided me the data of all the Tyrants within a week as that old Grandmaster had said.

While the council had asked me to have one thousand subjects, I was only able to find nine and a hundred and thirty-three. I would not compromise on quality, even if the council demands it.

Though I have sent the seeds to scan the Emperors and also asked every new emperor who levels up Tyrant.

I want to create a database of the Emperors and begin working with the most suitable ones. The war is going to last for years, and we want to make as many Grandmasters as we can; so we can deal with anything that Grimms throws at us.

"Are you ready?" teacher asked beside me, "Yes," I replied and walked toward the teleportation. I had asked for the teacher's help after I had shortlisted the subjects for the program, researching the aspects which are just as important as their suitability with my method.

Buzz!

I stepped into the teleportation with the teacher, and a second later, we disappeared from the parlor.

"All of sudden, I have to begin part of this top-secret project and got orders of immense proportion, even with the talented team, it is too much. Once the project leader arrives, I am going to tell them str"

The rant stopped mid-air when the person noticed the whole hall quieted down, and he looked behind him to the teleportation formation where I appeared with the teacher.

"Jim, what are you going to tell me?" I asked his shocked face; it was not just Jim that was shocked but most other people sitting at the table and the a.s.sistants they had brought behind them.

"You were the ones giving out those huge orders, hun!" He said before his eyes flared angrily, "Do you have anyhow huge your orders are, and the tiny timeline you have given us; any of us have barely slept in the past eight days," He said.

"I have no choice; the project is too huge, and they did not give me the required alchemists," I explained as I sat on the head chair.

While the council promised me all the resources, they are restricted in their own way. I had asked for two Grandmaster cla.s.s Alchemists and at least fifty Master cla.s.s Alchemists, but instead, I only got one Grandmaster Cla.s.s Alchemist and thirty-one Master cla.s.s alchemist.

The other alchemists are busy, and unless I show a concrete result, I would have a hard time getting the personnel I need.

"So, the council had asked you to create the army of the Masters?" He asked; he is not an idiot; from the resources he is crafting, he must have got a pretty good idea of what we are trying to achieve.

I smiled at him and turned to the other members sitting at the table; every representative of the field required for the project was sitting at the table.

On my left is Grandmistress Charline, the healer; Grandmaster Rogen, the artificer; Jim, the Alchemists; Mr. Carlile, the technician; and Grandmaster Sethi, the Psychiatrist; behind them are standing their a.s.sistances; I could already see the couple of familiar faces like Hazel and amelia standing behind Jim and Grandmistress Charline.

Everyone is Grandmaster or has a Grandmaster cla.s.s power aside from Mr. Carlile, who is a Master cla.s.s Tyrant, and Grandmistress Sethi, who was only able to become a Tyrant because of resources that Pyramid had spent on her.

I had to fight very hard for her; she is the most prominent Psychiatrist in the world, and it is nothing to do with her Inheritance which is below average at the same level as that of Leonard.

She is a true scholar, an expert in the human psyche; she got the t.i.tle of Grandmaster due to it, and I would need her help if I want to succeed in this project.

"I am sure all of you had your curiosities about this project," I said while looking everyone sitting on the project in the eye. "I will tell you all about it, but I hope not a word of it would go out; the council would not like it," I added, surprising many of them, mostly those standing behind the chairs.

"Saying the project council handed down to us is ambitious would be an understatement; most even call it foolhardy," I said, again bringing surprise to their faces.

"Just get to the point, Micheal; there is too much work for me to do," Jim said; he seemed quite stressed and irritated by the amount of work I had unloaded on him, and I couldn't blame him, it is truly too much, but I have no choice.

"The project is called 'One Thousand Grandmaster Project.' We have created one thousand Grandmasters for the council, and they want the first hundred within nine months," I said, and absolute silence descended.

A shock appeared on everyone's faces; their faces were frozen, and their eyes were big as saucers; some were so shocked that they gripped the table, just not falling down.

Very few people knew about the project beforehand, aside from the teacher and Neela behind me, only Grandmaster Sethi knew about it.

She was busy with her own project, and even on the insistence of Pyramid, she wasn't willing to leave it unless I told her what project she would be working on; even then, it took her some convincing.

Still, all those efforts were worth it; she had already shown how invaluable she was in the past few days.
