Chapter 2174: Rhea

Chapter 2173: You Are Wrong

A few seconds later, I stepped out of spatial tear and was surprised to find that Nero was beside Ashyn.

I had sensed the location of Nero before opening the spatial tear and saw him being an even greater distance from Ashlyn than me, but now he is here, and the thing is, I have never taught him to travel through s.p.a.ce, but he had done that.

I will have to ask him how he had done that, but later, now I have more important things to focus on.

"What did you find?" I asked Ashlyn. As far as I could see, I could only see a forest and some broken buildings. There are no energy signatures in the air or any spatial signature that I could see.

Still, I did not doubt Ashlyn; her senses are much better than mine, and she could see things that I could not.

Chew Chew Chew

She chirped and shared a vision made from her ability. Everything is grey here in this greyness; I could see the broken tower, and inside it, a couple of wispy dots that seemed to appear and disappear.

I looked through her vision for a minute before I stopped and looked at Ashlyn and Nero. You guys come back to the core; I will call you out if I need you.

Ashlyn just nodded and came inside while Nero was unwilling but listened. As they came inside me, I looked at the broken tower, which is at quite a distance, and flew toward it; I did not hide; hiding would only make things slow.

I flew toward it, and a couple of seconds later, I appeared in front of the broken tower.

The time had done its magic on it; once glorious tower that should be over a hundred floors tall now had barely twenty floors. My target is the only one floor of the tower; only in that place, I had seen the strangeness through Ashlyn's vision.

It would be a third floor on the top if I did not count to the most top floor, which is nearly destroyed.

Step!

I flew toward it before stepping inside it through the collapsed part before landing on the floor; as I did, my feet had made the crunching sound as they crunched on the rubble.

The floor of the tower is quite big, but there is barely any danger I can see. The tower is very old, but many people have come here, destroyed whatever defenses it had, and taken everything it had.

The thing that made me curious is why the Grimm Monsters are here and what they have found.

Hun!

I could sense the very faint aura of Grimm Monsters here, including that of the vidette I had killed.

There are some Grimm Monsters here that had not been killed by us three, and strangely, all of them are coming toward me, and they have some humans with them, including my friend who is in quite a strange condition.

Minutes had pa.s.sed, and a group of five Grimm Monsters appeared in front of me, and all of them were Masters who were step away from reaching a Grandmaster. In five, two of them have a bloodline, but I did not focus on that; instead, I focused on five humans they have in their hands tightly.

"Don't make any wrong move, human; if you dare to move slightest, we will kill all these humans." Said the leading Crockman, who had an unconscious human tightly in its claws. The vital of humans is very low, he could die at any moment.

He is not the only one in such a condition; the other two humans in Grimm's hands are also the same. The last two are a little better, but all of them need a quick medical a.s.sistant.

"You know I could kill you all, and it won't take me even a minute," I said, and to that, all of them flinched and tightened their grips on humans even more.

"We know you are strong, Micheal Zaar. You are even able to kill Lord Resf, and killing us would not take many efforts from you," It said,

"But let me tell you, if you came at us, we would take these humans with us to the underworld." Added crockman and pressed the human in its claw even further, nearly killing it.

"You are wrong about one thing," I said after a second of silence, which made a frown appear on its giant face.

"About what?" It asked while its and other Grimm Monsters muscles tensed, ready to crush the humans if I dared to even slightest.

"The moment you walked in front of me, you were already dead, and you all never had any chance to remain alive," I said. To that, a vicious crazy smile appeared on the face of the Crockman.

"It seemed like you do not care for the lives of humans!" It said viciously and pressed its claw to crush the human; the others also did the same. Wanting to give me the last wound before they die, but as I had said, they are dead the moment they have walked in front of me.

Suddenly, alarm flashed into the eyes of all five Grimm Monsters; they found themselves bound by something invisible.

This invisible biding not only binded their physical body, but they have also sealed their energy. So, they could no longer use their energy, seeing that all of the hopes of them killing humans before they die had disappeared.

"Lay down the humans slowly," I said while I wanted to harvest the Grimm Monsters, but stabilizing the condition of these humans is most important, especially the three; they are in a very bad state.

The Grimm Monsters cleaned the floor with their huge hands before placing the humans down, as they did. I pierce my strings inside them, though I had struggled a little with my friend, her defense is really shocking, just slightly lower than the vidette.

I am shocked seeing it, as I had not throught be human or Grimm Monster of Master cla.s.s could have such defense, other than alchemical vidette freaks, but here is human, who have 70% defense of vidette.

It looks like it were not just flowery words when Lord Whitman had said he had sent his best survival expert; it vidette would hard time breaking through this defense.

She is the only one whose condition could say to be good as the other four have been tortured to every inch of their lives, the signs of it could be seen across their bodies as well as their souls.

The Grimm Monsters were really cruel in torturing them.

I examined their condition before pouring healing energy with the mix of internal energy, which is extremly helpful. When I first time experimented with healing energy with internal energy, I was shocked by the results, despite learning about it from the books.

Other than healing energy, I have also taken out a couple of very expensive resources and fed them to them.

My priority is not to heal them but stabilize them enough that I can send them back. Once they are back in Pyramid, the healers there would do a good job healing them, both physically and mentally.
