Chapter 1931 - Harsh Words

"You appeared earlier than I had expected. Is everything went ok in a legacy Thatch?" Teacher asked as I appeared in the teleportation formation.

"Everything went fine; I was just able to finish the challenges early," I said and walked into my office there; to my surprise, I found two people sitting. I should not be surprised; I knew she would be here, and she did not seem to be in a good mood.

"Elina, why so glum? The trip to the mystic garden should have gone without any hitch, right?" I asked and looked at the Councilman Harrison beside her, who seemed to have a smile on his face. Seeing that, I felt relieved; nothing bad had happened.

Councilman Harrison went with Elina to Mystic Garden after she returned from the Grimm Battlefield three days ago. She had not stayed in the academy for even an hour before she went there; I did not even get a chance to meet her.

"The trip went fine; I have made huge advancements," She said, bringing a small smile on her face. "With it, she now thinks she had reached the limit and now wants to level up to Tyrant." Teacher quipped; she did not seem to be happy with her daughter's decision..

"You have reached the limit?" I asked Elina, "Yes, I have. The energy of The Mystique Garden took me to my limit," she said and released her aura, which is neared the mid-level of unranked cla.s.s. "With this progress, I am sure when I level up, I would definitely be a peak elite," Said Elina; she seemed quite proud of her progress.

"You must really have the wish to be mediocre despite having a bloodline of Death Phoenix?" I asked; this is one of the harshest words I have spoken to Elina, but she needs to hear it.

She did not seem like my words or mocking on my tone as anger blazed across her eyes. "Micheal, don't be too smug. While I might still not be a match of you with this strength, I am sure as confident that I could defend against you without losing," she said with a challenge in her voice as she blasted her powerful aura at me.

"Really?" I asked back with the same mocking tone before the aura of peak elite shot through my body, instantly crus.h.i.+ng her aura of unranked Tyrant that spread into the office.

An expression of shock had appeared on her face; she was extremely shocked; I had never seen such emotions on her face ever before.

While she is shocked, there was no change of expressions in Teacher and councilman's Harrison's face; they have already been aware of my strength.

"This!" Elina said after few seconds of being shocked. She seemed like she wanted to say something further, but no words seemed to come out of her mouth.

"If this had been normal times, there would be no problem with you breaking into Tyrant stage with your level of power, but great war is coming and the elites cla.s.s not be enough to survive the war much less bring an impact," I said, there was no mocking in my voice this time, these words are from my heart.

"Mira, Ellen, Jillian, and others are trying their all to reach Elite cla.s.s while still being an Emperor, so when they finally break through the Tyrant stage, they will be leader cla.s.s Tyrant with great prospect charge into Master cla.s.s in a short time,"

"You have a bloodline of the Death Phoenix; reaching elite stage might be a little difficult but not impossible as long as you work hard," I said with a sigh.

Silence descended into the Teacher's office, and for a whole minute, n.o.body moved or spoke till Elina stood up from her chair. "Mom, I am tired; I will be taking my leave," Elina said softly before she walked out of the office with heavy steps.

"I am sorry, it looks like I was a little too harsh," I said; though I did not regret my words, I still wish I would have been a little gentler. "You don't have to feel sorry Micheal, Elina needed to hear those words," Teacher said as she asked me to take a step.

"Micheal, I had always been quite curious about the Legacy Thatch; care to tell me what's inside?" Councilman. "Councilman Harrison," the Teacher said admonis.h.i.+ngly.

"Its fine, teacher," I said and began to explain the two challenges. I only told them about the challenges and not anything else. It is better that they did not know about the rewards; those things should only be known to those who had pa.s.sed the challenge.

Teacher and Councilman Harrison only listened and did not ask any further questions about it; tomorrow, I will make a detailed report of two challenges to be stored in academies records.

"Teacher, I will need records of ruins, including those of XX category," I said, "Young man, the XX category runes are dangerous, even for you," Said Councilman Harrison.

"I know councilman, but I have no choice. I will have to look through all the ruins which contain the resources I need. Don't worry though, I will first go for the safe ruins," I said, which is likely to happen.

The resources in safe ruins have already been extracted, and there are very few safe ruins where precious resources like Divine Crystals haven't been extracted by humans and Grimm Monsters powerhouses.

"I will send the dossier to you by tomorrow," She said.

I remained in the office of the Teacher for half an hour more before I flew back to my home. In a month, I would start the ruin scouring; till then, I will have to work on my Inheritance and research on the ruins.

I am plan on going to fewer ruins to save time, and for it, even if I have to go to the dangerous runes, I will go there. I need to collect the resources quickest way possible, so I can focus more on my Inheritance; the war is coming, and I have to be prepared for it.
