Chapter 1415 - Return
"How much time?" I asked again; I must have asked this question more than ten times in the past hour. Though I know the answer to my question, I couldn't help but as it repeatedly.
I am a very calm person; I did not get such tense easily, but today, I had been tensest in a long time.
It had been nearly half a year since my precious student had got stuck in that Ruin, and I don't know whether he is alive or not.
His mother has never doubted her son being alive, and I very much want to believe it with the same confidence, but my rationality is not letting me do that.
In three thousand years since the Ruin had been our hand, only two people have survived this Ruin ever, and those two people are a legend in the whole world; there had never been anyone who had created legends such as them.
I could see people glancing at me sneakily; some even had a trace of pity in their eyes when they looked at me, believing my student is dead. Not that I could blame them, everyone know that once you got stuck in the 'I' Ruin, you are good as dead.
The technicians are working on the gate and looking at a mathematical graph in front of the technicians; I could tell the gate will contact the Ruin three minutes, still knowing I couldn't help but ask the question again and received the same answer I know.
"Don't worry; he will fine as his mother said," Josie said as she pressed my hand; she had many responsibilities on her hand with World Champions.h.i.+p that will begin in a week later. She had still spared an hour of her time for her elder sister.
Time pa.s.sed by at an excruciatingly slow speed; each second, I would fight a war with myself, thinking about the survivability of Micheal.
"Headmistress, the Ruin Gate is ready to form the connection with Ruin," John informed.
"Form the connection," I said without wasting a single moment and trained my eyes on the screen; in a few seconds, I will know whether Micheal is alive or not. If he is dead, the screen will be blank, and if he is alive then, the screen will show the number of his homing beaker.
John and other technicians begin to form the connection, and within half minutes, the Ruin gate formed the connection with Ruin.
Gasp Gasp Gasp
Second, pa.s.sed when suddenly, numeric one appeared on the screen, just as it appeared gasps rang out across the whole room, some people eyes even popped out in shock as if they could not believe what they are seeing.
"Start Extraction, it is Micheal to come home," I said; the homing beacon showed that Micheal is alive, but I had let myself be happy, many times the Rune Gates has received the dead signal, I do want to be till I see with my own eyes.
Seconds pa.s.sed when I saw leg came out of the realm gate's watery surface before the whole body came out of the Ruin Gate with a confident stride.
Micheal walked out of the Ruin Gade wearing beautiful Armor, this Inheritance Armor of his different from previous but far more beautiful. A Fiery Red Diamond with Golden Tinge and those Forest Green Diamond lines made his Armor too beautiful.
The similarity this Inheritance Armor of his bore to previous is the small seven-colored sparrow-winged sigil on his chest.
Micheal said as the Armor of his melted and seeped back into him as he revealed himself, and seeing him, I had barely able to stop gasping seeing the change in my Micheal.
If one looks from a distance, people will not see much difference as a physique Micheal remained sane except an increase in height by an inch but closer they will see the difference.
Six month ago, Micheal was like a sword which had power revolving around it, at one glance, everyone will feel he is dangerous, but now he is like a sheathed sword that did not have an aura, but when the sword is released, it will become downright terrifying that enemy would not even get chance to lift the weapon before he is cut into two.
Micheal is releasing no aura from his body; his energy control has become so good that even I had to focus a little more to see his level.
I had read about how powerful her excellencies had become when they returned from the 'I,' and now, seeing my student, I am very sure those accounts are no false even a bit.
We have finally produced a monster again; It is had a wish of every Headmaster/Headmistress to groom a powerhouse like the two excellencies again, but despite our efforts, we were never come close.
But now there is hope that the academy will produce another world shocking monster, and I couldn't help but feel proud that he is my student.
"I am happy that you have come back safely, Micheal," I said finally after a long silence.
"I am sorry for worrying you, teacher," He said; I could tell he genuinely means that, "Silly boy, it should be me that should be apologizing, if not for that silly of mine, you wouldn't have been stuck into that dangerous ruin," I said.
Ellie had described the complete ordeal to me, how Micheal saved her and helped her get away from that Ruin.
My daughter is my life; I don't know what I would have if something had happened to her.
If not for him, Ellie would have stuck in the Ruin, and I don't my daughter would have survived the dangerous Ruin as Micheal did.
"Let's go to my cabin; I want you to describe everything that you have experience in ruin in great detail," I said and teleported with him to my cabin. I am very curious about what my student has experience in that dangerous Ruin.
