G.o.ds were immortal.

Even if the G.o.ds were killed by accident, they would be revived shortly after.

Carulla cried angrily.

Carulla and the Evil G.o.d were regaining HP. The Mountain, Fluttering Snow Purple Water Chestnut and Qian’er had never stopped attacking. If he could not come up with a solution, the longer they dragged on, the more unfavorable for them it would be.

“Dark Wing, seal them with your scroll!” The Mountain cried.

“The sealing scroll can only be used once every seven days, and only one target can be sealed at a time.” Li Yi cast a wry smile.

“Hahahaha! Since you can’t kill us, and it won’t take long before your powers are exhausted, you will die before you know it!” The Evil G.o.d guffawed.

The Mountain also placed four summon beasts surrounding the two G.o.ds. As long as their HP rose a little, they would remove the recovered HP immediately.

“The Ruler of G.o.ds’ Staff is the weapon of the Ruler of G.o.ds. Only the Ruler of G.o.ds release its true power,” the Evil G.o.d said.

“Shut up, Elusia!” Carulla shouted.

Li Yi pointed the Ruler of G.o.ds’ Staff right at Carulla’s face and she immediately backed down.

They had defeated the G.o.d-queen and obtained the Ruler of G.o.ds’ Staff, but so far, the Ascension had not happened, which left Li Yi feeling frustrated. His intuition, however, informed him that the secret of a mortal becoming G.o.d seemed to be related to the Ruler of G.o.ds’ Staff in his hand.

However, its method of use was completely unknown to him at the moment.

“The Ruler of G.o.ds’ Staff is the symbol of the Ruler of G.o.ds. If I get my hands on this staff, I can become the new Ruler of G.o.ds. Don’t you desire G.o.dhood, mortal? Give me the staff and I shall a.s.sist you in your quest!”

Li Yi pulled the staff out of Carulla’s mouth and used it to tap on Elusia’s head, “Why should I be second to you? Who do you think you are?”

Elusia was dumbfounded.

“Tap! Tap!”

When Li Yi used the Ruler of G.o.ds’ Staff to knock on the head of Elusia, strange purple damage numbers materialized above her head.

“No! Don’t touch me with that, stop it, right now!” Elusia screamed in horror.

Li Yi was surprised and knocked once more. A line of 700,000 purple damage numbers appeared above her head again.

Elusia had only one HP left, obviously not the same as the damage done by the Ruler of G.o.ds’ Staff. However, she did not appear to be wounded. Why was she so scared?

“Explain this.”

Li Yi knocked twice and harder than before.

“Cease… Cease…”

“Tell me, tell me!” He hit twice again.

Torturing the G.o.ds felt good. When he recalled their sn.o.bbish faces and arrogant att.i.tudes, he felt even better.

“You are deducting my max HP with the Ruler of G.o.d’s Staff. If you continue, my max HP will be permanently reduced. The process is irreversible…”

After listening to Elusia, he noticed that a huge chunk of the HP bar above her head had disappeared.

“Reducing max HP?”

Li Yi’s eyes lit up and he struck Carulla hard.

“Why you little—” Carulla bellowed in anger, but once she saw Li Yi lifting the staff, she immediately held her tongue.

“This is good stuff, hahaha!” Li Yi laughed heartily a few times and pointed to Carulla with the staff, “Now, your turn to enlighten me. Where is the Ruler of G.o.ds?”

“You are not worthy to meet the Ruler of G.o.ds.” Carulla gritted her teeth.

“Whack!”

He bashed her once more with the Ruler of G.o.ds’ Staff, and her max HP was reduced by 100 million.

“You…”

“Wham!”

It was another strike.

“The Ruler of G.o.ds is not here,” Carulla said softly.

“You don’t say? Obviously, I know that the man is not here. Why else would I be asking you? Where is the guy?” Li Yi raised the staff.

Carulla pointed to the direction of the golden seat. “In the Inner Palace.”

“Get up and lead the way!”

Li Yi pointed the Ruler of G.o.ds’ Staff at Carulla and the Evil G.o.d, asking them to lead the way.

The Mountain approached Li Yi. “Dark Wing, I don’t think you’ve noticed but… someone is missing.”

“Someone?”

Li Yi looked around and his eyes narrowed.

He had been focused on the fight with the G.o.ds, and only now realized that Ghostly Walker had disappeared!

“Where’s Ghostly Walker?”

“Haven’t seen him.”

“He was here a while ago, how did he disappear in the blink of an eye?”

Fluttering Snow Purple Water Chestnut and Qian’er were equally as surprised.

Carulla pointed at the golden seat as they were speaking. “You only need to turn the chair to enter the Inner Palace.”

“Turn it then!” Li Yi scowled.

Carulla and the Evil G.o.d worked together to slowly move the golden seat.

A secret entrance emerged from the wall.

“Don’t go in!”

Just as Li Yi and the others were preparing to enter the secret entrance, the Hunter G.o.ddess suddenly came out of the bow and stood in the way.
