What was given to me was a completely ordinary lighter.

“This will light up the flames of your desire.”

Flames of desire?

“Show others the flames, and if you ask strongly, you can manipulate them as you wish.”

Hearing that I could manipulate people, the first thing I thought of was something erotic.

“What’s the price? My life span? Or is it my soul?”

I asked since there’s no way a devil would give such a dangerous thing away in good faith.

It’s obvious that there’s got to be an ulterior motive.

“The price: I’ll be taking your desires.”

Desires?

“Would something happen when that’s taken from me? Would I get dizzy, or-”

In anime, it would usually be my vitality which is taken, but-

“Nothing will happen. I’ll only take the parts that are leaking out of you.”

“Is that so? There’s no particular demerits to this, huh?”

“Yeah, that’s right.”
