Khaled family? Who does not knew them? He surely knew them because they were the one who controls half of the Underworld and the half belonged to him and Kyler.

But in terms of power and influence, they could never be compared with each other.

"W-what about them?" Lance King's hear beat wildly. He really had a bad feeling.

"Nothing... It just happens that he's quite close with me... and he's asking you to 'see' him..." Lyndon's voice had a tinge of cruelty on his nonchalant voice. As though, Lance King's life did not matter to him and this was the truth.

He doesn't care for him even just a tiny bit.

Lance King's eyes widened in shock. Never in his life he would imagine that the man across him would be friends with those demons!

Lyndon seemed to be satisfied with Lance King's reaction. He faintly smiled and stood up. He gestured some of his men to take Lance King away and kill his a.s.sistant.

A loud bang resounded through the area as he walked out to see his own mother.

The car was nearing its destination.

Uncle Dan rolled the windows down for security check then he rolled it up as they had a clearance to pa.s.s.

"Where are we?" Rodora asked as she gazed the men in uniform who were guarding the gate that they have pa.s.sed by earlier.

"It's one of the business Young Master has... madam..." Uncle Dan answered.

"Is that so?" Rodora knew that she's already safe from her father's men.

"Yes Madam..." Uncle Dan's voice sounded so detatched.

Rodora could not care less about his att.i.tude. She just wanted to see her sons, especially Leo.

"Madam... We've arrived..." Uncle Dan unbuckled his seatbelt and then swiftly got out from the car to open the back seat's door but Rodora had opened it herself.

She walked out from the car and looked around.

The ware house that was turned into a bar is in front of them.

Uncle Dan ushered her inside but then, a familiar silhouette came into her. She ran towards it and hugged tightly before she shed tears.

"Ohhh... Son... I'm sorry... I dragged you into this... I am so sorry..." this are her words.

Lyndon patted the back of his mother and soothed her.

"No worries... I know that you never intended to do it... Let's hurry back.. I missed father and you..." Lyndon guided her towards the helipad and a whizzing sound came after.

They boarded the helicopter and flew towards country P.

There's a long silence between the mother and son. They could not find topics to discuss and she could not bring herself to ask things from him but she couldn't help it.

"Can I see Leo first?" Rodora's voice sounded so weak and she's scared that her request will be rejected by Lyndon.

He looked at his mother with clear eyes devoid of any emotion and his eyes did not show any of his thoughts but a nod came from him before he spoke.

"I wanted to see him too..." Lyndon should not back down either. He knew that behind Kyler's actions was the hate he felt for him and his father.

Rodora smiled at her son. Then she thanked him.

"No worries... I know you missed him..." he said while he patted the head of his mother. He directed orders from the headset navigator and changed their course. They are now heading to country A.

Kyler became restless ever since he received some call fom his own mother. He knew that she did not knew many things.

As his flight is nearing and he will be bringing Carmi along with him, he could not think properly.

He began to question himself if his hatefor Lyndon hold grounds. If his plans will proceed, then, will his mother still accept him after that?

Will Carmi still believe him after? Or just like that old man, he will be left alone during his entire life?

Those questions scared him.

He could not do his work properly and began to idle around his table for the whole day and Carmi did not bother him either. The woman did not look for him this entire day.

Could she been absent?

Carmi will surely notify him if she's going to take a day off.

As the man burried himself with such questions, Carmi had been staying away from him intentionally. She could not help but feel scared by the thought that she's falling for his tricks and cheap behavior. She should not fall for him because she knew that he is a dangerous man.

He could not be trusted. He must be doing this just to entertain himself and maybe she's just a toy for him.

She pained for the thought of it so she avoided him this whole day.

Then her gaze trailed down to the rectangular box resting on the top of her table. She looked at it with a complicated thought.

That was her first time receiving a gift from him and it was such an expensive gift.

With a sigh, she undid the red ribbon and opened the box but before she could lift the lid, the intercom blinked.

Then an angry voice resounded.
