4 Chapter 4

"Is everything okay boss?"

"Yes, it is."

"What did they want?"

"It was about the business."

"Did you sign a contract with them?"

"Not yet."

Marian didn't question her any further and left her office. Talia tried her hardest to focus on work but she couldn't. The thought that Axel knew were she was, and how far would he go?

The rest of the day went by and she felt as if she had done nothing for the whole day. She packed up her things and hoped that tomorrow would be a different story.

Talia did her usual routine of covering her face and walking out the door. She opened her car door and slid. She made sure that no one was following her. When she was clear she arrived at her house and unlocked the door and got in.

She stopped in her tracks when she smelt the familiar scent that she could never forget. She slowly turned around and swung at the person behind her.

They blocked her but she used her other hand to land a blow.

"Stop, it's me."

"What are you doing in my house, Axel?"

"I was waiting for you."

"How did you get into my house?"

"I used my usual ways."

"Why didn't you tell me you were here or if you wanted to meet we could have met elsewhere."

"I knew that you wouldn't want to see me."

"So the best solution was for you to sneak into my house?"

"I know that isn't the best plan, but I had to do what I had to."

"Get out or else I will call the police."

"You can call them but just know that it won't end well for them."

"So you really aren't going to leave?"

"Not until I can make you understand."

"Make me understand what? That you are a creep."

"You know that I'm not!"

"Axel, I spoke to you this afternoon and I told you to not come to me unless it's business related."

"That's why I'm here, at your house to talk about us."

"What is there to talk about?"

"Talia, I loved you and you loved me."

"Are you aware of Stockholm syndrome?"

Axel's eyes narrowed.

"I see that you do by the look on your face."

"Talia, that's…."

"That's what? Cant, you handle the truth. That's the truth for you."

"That's not the truth and you know."

Talia decided to ignore him and she walked to her room.
