Chapter 695 - Glittering Gold Sand

Chapter 695: Glittering Gold Sand

A few thousand billion was perhaps all a C-tier family possessed. These families were surrendering their entire family fortune in exchange for such a small amount of sand.

Qin Feng was a relatively low-cla.s.s loner then. One trillion was not the amount he could ever dream of earning his entire lifetime.

Not that he would have any use for the sand, anyway. The Glittering Gold Sand was a military commodity rather than an a.s.set.

This sand could change the energy core of an area.

The reason why Dragon Capital could become the command center of Huaxia was because the energy core there was the most powerful.

With the sand, Qin Feng could now build a second Dragon Capital.

“Bai Li, quick. Collect all of them.”

Bai Li shook her head and said, “That’s impossible. This material would make my spatial runes collapse.”

Qin Feng was startled as he looked at Bai Li.

Bai Li explained, “Though my spatial runes are powerful, there are still things that they can’t contain. This material did exist in my inherited memory. I can absorb them slowly and thus increase my storage little by little, but it would not be possible to collect all of them.”

It was entirely out of Qin Feng’s expectations.

“Then how much can you carry?” Qin Feng asked quickly.

Bai Li answered, “Let me finish. This unique material has a great ma.s.s and not many materials can hold them. But since they are exposed in the opening, they would react with the surrounding elements and create materials that would complement them. We can deposit such elements into the Magical Tesseract and turn them into a bottle for the sand.”

“I see. That’s unheard of.”

Though Qin Feng was considered knowledgeable, he had only been an A-tier for two years in his past life before being reborn. He would not have learned everything in his last life.

Luckily, they had Bai Li’s inherited memory to the rescue.

Qin Feng used his consciousness to scan the area and quickly discovered a transparent material lining the edge of the sandpit. He now knew that the crystal bottle holding the sand in his memory was not crystal but this new element.

Qin Feng unsheathed the Verdant Emperor Saber and sliced a large piece of it. He then inserted the material into the Tesseract and produced a giant bottle.

He then tried to move the bottle with telepathy but realized that the bottle was heavier than he thought.

“Argh!” His conscious power was defeated by the weight of the bottle.

“This material is rather heavy too. You cannot use such a large piece at once.”

Bai Li raised his hand and cut a much smaller piece using her spatial runes. She then put the material carefully into the Tesseract, which resulted in a box the size of a small pail. She did not try to control it with her consciousness. Instead, she bowed down and transferred the sand into the box with her bare hands. It seemed like a strenuous effort.

Qin Feng knew that though Bai Li commands spatial ability, her physique as a mutated beast was comparable to himself despite her appearance. Even she found it taxing to move the sand.

This material was truly remarkable.

“I understand. How about this, you make the container and I will do the filling. Then you transfer the box into your spatial dimension.” Qin Feng decided to split the task to speed up the process.

Otherwise, he could not h.o.a.rd the sand all by himself when others arrived at the center. Besides, he wanted to hide from others the fact that he owned so much Gold Sand.

“Okay!”

Qin Feng spread his beasts and released a powerful dark ability to shroud the area.

If anyone were to approach the area, the puppets and the fog would deter them. If they insist on breaking through, then Qin Feng would not hesitate to kill them.

As such, Qin Feng and Bai Li collected the sand restlessly for two straight days.

“Ugh!” Qin Feng moved the sand painstakingly near the pit. His arm muscles had inflated a lot the past two days. The repet.i.tive labor seemed to have enhanced his physical strength greatly.

Still, they had only removed less than one-tenth of the total. It was simply too slow.

Moreover, they could hardly fend off the outsiders now. There were already three A-tiers who had discovered the dark fog lingering at the center of the mountain but were chased away by Qin Feng using the puppets. One of them was only scared away after Qin Feng deployed the G.o.d of Carnage.

Attentions over the fogged area were intensifying as time pa.s.sed.

“Kounsat is still hogging the area. He must have found something.”

“This is a Divine Mountain. There must be unthinkable treasures hidden in the center area.”

“We should collaborate and chase him away.”

“That’s right. So what if he has an S-tier puppet? Kounsat himself is very weak. We can kill him easily as long as we contain the S-tier puppet.”

“Yea, agree!”

Five A-tiers immediately joined up and prepared to break through the puppet barrier set up by Qin Feng.

As he finished loading another box, Qin Feng clearly sensed imminent danger.

Bai Li became vigilant too.

“There are five A-tiers incoming. They are here to kill.”

“I sensed it too. Well, I guess that’s it.”

Qin Feng glanced at the remaining sand inside the pit. He was reluctant to leave them behind. This was probably the first time he was unable to hog everything ever since he was reborn.

Nonetheless, he had no choice but to escape now.

Qin Feng did not want to expose himself. It was unwise to attract unwanted attention. The best way to acc.u.mulate wealth and power was to do so quietly.

“Retreat!” Qin Feng commanded and gathered all his puppets in one place. He then ordered them to self-explode.

The bodies of the death puppets eroded but an energy core once again condensed at the center of the puppet crowd. This undead puppet army relied on this core to sustain their combat powers.

Qin Feng wasted nothing and absorbed the energy core into his conscious realm.

He and Bai Li then took down their robes.

“Let’s go!” Bai Li’s spatial runes covered the two of them and they promptly teleported to the perimeter of the island.

Afterward, five A-tiers arrived at the center with ease.

They finally found the Glittering Gold Sand after the fog dispersed.

“Where’s Kounsat? Has he run off?”

“The puppets have self-exploded. There are traces of spatial runes too.”

“D*mn! He fled so decisively. By the way, this thing here must be very valuable.”

“Take it, quick!”

The A-tiers did not hesitate and got to work immediately. Soon, they too realized that the sand was immovable using their conscious energy alone. As such, they could only start collecting with their bare hands. That was when they realized how heavy the sand was.

The small bottle of sand Qin Feng saw in his previous life was not a tiny amount leaked by the upper echelon. In fact, that was exactly the amount an A-tier could manage. Not many apt.i.tude users, including ancient warriors, could match Qin Feng’s otherworldly physique, after all.
